00:00Not all OPPO Reno6 Pros are created equally. There are different versions of this phone
00:04released internationally and we're going to be talking about that a little bit in this video
00:08but also we're unboxing the OPPO Reno6 Pro Snapdragon version.
00:20Good day, you beautiful people. Welcome to Lisa Does Tech where we do tech in your life, in style.
00:25In today's unboxing video, camera tour, and I'll also give you some sample shots,
00:29we're looking at the OPPO Reno6 Pro but this is not the version that we saw launch earlier in
00:34India. This is another version with different cameras and a Snapdragon processor. So before
00:40we get into it, let's start unboxing. OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G. This time, you guys,
00:48we have the typical OPPO box with Android and easy access to Google apps you need most.
00:54Ooh, fancy. That's a really nicely shaped SIM tool. We have paperwork, jelly case,
01:05and finally the phone but we're checking out what else is in the box first.
01:12This is a USB-C power cord and of course, a power brick. On to the phone. So we have a quick run
01:19through of this phone specs. So OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G, you have bokeh flare portrait video,
01:25AI highlight video with ultra night video and live HDR, 65 watt SuperVOOC 2.0, and yes folks,
01:32this thing is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 and Sony IMX766 sensors on this thing.
01:40That's a nice back. I'm not sure if you can sort of see it in the camera. It's smooth but there's
01:51sort of like that detail which gives you a different shine to the back. Like the way that
01:58light shines off the back of this phone is sort of diffused. Also guys, that is matte so goodbye
02:05fingerprints. Slight OPPO branding at the bottom there. That's a nice solid looking camera module.
02:15The teeniest bump too. So four cameras on there and then on the side, we have sort of a silver
02:23bumper that goes around the phone. Power button on the right, speakers, USB-C port. SIM tray on
02:32here. That's a dual SIM situation. And then on the other side, you have volume buttons. And up top,
02:39it sort of matches the back. I like this tiny little detail. And also, did you guys notice that
02:46curving screen? Again, those curves mean a more comfortable in-hand feel especially for people
02:52like me with tinier hands. The latest Reno's have been thin and sleek phones. And yes, I did
02:59recently shoot a video on the OPPO Reno6 5G with the square edges. And as interesting as this phone's
03:06form factor is, this shape is really what I know Reno phones to have. It's the more familiar feel
03:13for me, right? You guys know what's next. Let's power this up, set it up, and in the meantime, a montage.
03:29♪♪♪
03:50Right. So to deal with this phone, this is officially the OPPO Reno6 Pro International
03:56but there are two OPPO Reno6 Pros. This is the OPPO Reno6 Pro that had launched in India and
04:02this is the OPPO Reno6 Pro that we just unboxed. And this, I heard, will be launched in some APAC
04:08countries and some European countries. Also, this Snapdragon Reno6 Pro that we just unboxed
04:14is what was released in China as the OPPO Reno6 Pro Plus. Two very similar phones and similarly
04:22but there are a few differences. On the right is the OPPO Reno6 Pro in Arctic Blue that we just
04:29unboxed and on the left is the OPPO Reno6 Pro in Aurora, the India version. Textures on the phone
04:36look fairly different with that new Reno glow effect on the phone we just unboxed. It is yet
04:42again another pretty and eye-catching design. OPPO says that this looks like tiny snowflakes on the
04:48back of your phone though I personally think that this looks like Mother of Pearl. Everything else
04:53looks similar including most of the specs except the phone we just unboxed is powered by a Qualcomm
04:58Snapdragon processor versus the India version that's powered by a MediaTek processor. Another
05:05main difference, the camera. So the OPPO Reno6 Pro that we just unboxed features a 50 megapixel
05:12main shooter with a bigger Sony sensor. That's versus a 64 megapixel shooter on the other Reno.
05:19This Reno also has OIS and a 13 megapixel telephoto camera that has a 5x hybrid zoom.
05:27The other Reno doesn't have that. Even the wide angle camera is improved. You get a 16 megapixel
05:33shooter versus the 8 that you get on the other Reno. Cameras alone, this specific Reno6 Pro
05:41does seem like the version to get although we only really find out how well these cameras perform
05:48once we do a camera vlog test. Right let's do this. Camera tour time. Agree and continue while using
05:56the app. Allow. So we have photos. Now as you know I'm shooting this in front of the mirror
06:04so you can sort of see what the camera is seeing and you just get a better view of everything. We
06:10have a wide, 1x, 2x, 5x, 10x and you can zoom up until 20x. Over here you have Google Lens, you have
06:25a beauty mode, you have flash settings, twilight settings, you have HDR settings, you have AI
06:32settings. So AI scene enhancement turns on. Oh and as you can see since I turned on the AI, it now
06:39says portrait because it detects that there's a person on the scene. Then there are different
06:45filters that are available here. Under settings you can change aspect ratio, you have a timer
06:50and you can toggle the 15 megapixel shooter on or off. On the right we have a portrait mode
06:57and we can adjust bokeh. You see the difference? There's also a flare bokeh portrait. Different
07:06other filters. You also have a timer and up here, settings. Under more, you have a dual view video
07:13mode. And from here you can do 1x, 2x, 5x. How far can we zoom in? Up until 10x. You can also switch
07:24the views. There is a beauty mode on here and you can choose different types of layouts. You have
07:32flash settings and other settings as well. Under more, you have a slow-mo mode, 720p or 1080p. You
07:41have a time-lapse mode which allows you to do wide up until 20x. And you can do a hyperlapse. This is
07:54pretty cool. And also toggle to 60x, 120x, 480x, or 960x. You have a film mode. Especially for mobile
08:03content creators, this is really cool. It's basically a pro mode for shooting mobile videos.
08:10You can do wide, 1x, and up until, well, sort of zoomed in, you know. There's also a steady mode
08:20on here and you can see that all the different settings are there. So that's the film. There's
08:25also a pro expert mode here that is pro mode for photos this time. You can do 1x, 2x, 5x, up until
08:345x. And then you can switch to your wide camera. You can switch to your zoomed-in camera. And you
08:43can also shoot in RAW. You also have an extra HD mode which can do 1x, 2x, 5x, up until, well, 5x.
08:54No wide. There is a pano mode, text scanner, always useful. Macro mode is under here. And you also have
09:01stickers. Wait, let me zoom in so you can see just how cute these are. Ah, you see? It's pretty cute.
09:10I mean, these are really cute for like social media or stories. On the other side, we have video.
09:17So as you can see, it already gives you instructions. So that says that AI highlight video brings out
09:23better quality in both dim and bright lighting. So you can just turn that on. We have flash settings.
09:30This is the steady mode. Again, AI. You have bokeh for video. Nice. And you also have flare. Ooh, just see?
09:42Okay, normal, bokeh, flare, portrait. You see the background? And yeah, different other filters as well.
09:50Up here, you can also do resolution. So you can do 4K. Ooh, 4K 60fps is available. Nice. And then
10:00you have the night mode. You have wide, 1x, 2x, 5x, up until 20x on night mode. You have a super
10:11steady tripod mode on night mode. You have ratio. You have a timer. And you also have, well, other
10:18settings. Now, selfie time. So there is a night mode on selfie time. There is a beauty mode. And as
10:25you can see, a more dedicated beauty mode because we're using the selfie camera now. There is this
10:31flash setting. You have ratio. You have timer. On video, you also have that dedicated beauty mode
10:39that you can turn on live as you shoot videos. You have automatic flash. You have a steady mode
10:45on selfie video. Something I always like to have because if you're walking and talking and shooting
10:50vlogs or stuff like that, that comes in very useful. You have AI highlight video on and you
10:56also have bokeh for selfie video. Ooh, bokeh flare portrait is also available as you can see. And
11:06that's live. It's doing that live. So you can shoot with this filter on and also different filters.
11:11And this shoots in 1080p and 720p. On photo mode, you have beauty mode here again. And I will repeat
11:19this in every video I make. The beauty mode is nice to, you know, enhance how you look just like makeup.
11:26But the normal you, flawless and all, that's great. You're fine. You're normal. Be proud and never be
11:33ashamed of that. So up here, you have flash settings, HDR settings. You have your different filters.
11:39You have timer settings. And under settings, you have aspect ratio. I want to get in here.
11:46Shooting methods. Gestures. So always my favorite way to take selfies.
11:54Yeah. On the right, you have portrait mode for selfie. You have a beauty mode on here.
11:59Your different filters. Bokeh flare portrait also available. Timer and more settings. And then we're
12:06back to more. So what do we do with a new phone and exciting cameras? Take some sample shots. Let's go.
12:15♪♪♪

13:05and Thailand, among other countries. And European countries, including Spain, Italy, and France.
13:10At the time I'm shooting this video though, there have been no official announcements yet on
