00:55Today's unboxing was pretty special for me because it's the very first time I get to test out a nothing phone.
01:00And I'm always, always so excited the very first time I check out a new brand.
01:04It's like getting to know a new person.
01:07These little quirks that this brand has.
01:09But yes, so the nothing phone 2, the second iteration of the nothing phone.
01:14And it looks pretty similar to the first one but let's look at it a little bit closer.
01:21Right, so taking a look at this phone, all I can say is that this is feeling fresh.
01:26First, that was a notification.
01:29First off, this transparent back and I know it's been said before but I'm loving how it looks
01:35because it reminds me of the 90s.
01:37We got that nothing branding there.
01:40And of course, we've all heard about these glyph lights.
01:43So basically, this is a notification system for nothing.
01:48You can even set timers here.
01:51It turns on when you charge the device.
01:54Pretty cool, huh?
01:56You can even get it to do custom notifications.
01:59So I think that's a pretty cool use of like this back area with the unique design.
02:05You have your two 50 megapixel cameras here, a dual flash.
02:09Now, we have flat sides just like the nothing 1.
02:13That is an unlock button and that's a fingerprint scanner up front.
02:17That's a pretty snappy fingerprint scanner.
02:20And look at how nice that custom nothing skin is.
02:24Honestly, this is not so functional for me because I can't tell the little icons
02:30if they're not different colors.
02:32And not all app icons turn out that way but I will say it looks really, really good.
02:40I'm also a big fan of this phone they're using.
02:42I feel like it's such a refreshing thing to see and it's very on brand.
02:46You also have that punch hole 32 megapixel camera front.

02:51Other side gives you the volume rockers.
02:54At the bottom, you get the SIM tray, USB-C charger, speakers.

03:27Now, this thing looks very similar to the first nothing phone.
03:31But what I noticed was that this back specifically is a little curved now.
03:37And I like that because I feel like it's the perfect middle ground for like very brick type like devices.
03:44Like these are flat sides but that slight curve on the back of the phone just helps you hold it a little bit more comfortable.
03:53Especially if you have tiny hands like mine.
03:55That back though can't get enough of it.
03:57And also, let me just add that this back demands to be seen.
04:01Like the phone doesn't come with a case.
04:04And because of that glyph notification system, you know they want this back to be showing when you're on the nothing phone.

09:16Not just because it looks cool, but also because I love how they added functionality to the back.
09:22Like, for example, the notifications, the timer functionalities,
09:27but specifically the timer for when you take photos with the phone.
09:32I think this is a very promising device.
09:35It's fast and snappy.
09:36It feels good in hand.
09:37Also, those haptics are really nice.
09:40Plus, it's powered by a very good processor, so there's no going wrong there.
09:43Personally, I'm very curious to see how the cameras perform on this.
