00:00You guys are coming with me.
00:02Good day you beautiful people. Welcome to Issa Does Tech where we do tech in your life in style.
00:15Today's video is a really exciting one because we're checking out the Ford Territory Titanium.
00:20Now this is my first car video and like any other video on this channel, we're not really going to be looking at specs.
00:26There are a lot of great videos on the Ford Territory already out that talk about it.
00:31I'm gonna be focusing on my personal experience driving this car.
00:35And not only are we testing it out on the road, we're also looking at the tech that's inside.
00:42This is the Ford Territory Titanium.
00:44It's an SUV type and we have it in ruby red which is the color option I like.
00:48And this, like I said, is the Titanium Plus version which is the more premium variant versus the Ford Territory trim.
00:56Similar cars but the Titanium Plus has more features.
00:59It's a good sleek looking car with decent space in the back.
01:02But before we move on to particulars about the car, how it feels to drive, how it feels to be a passenger on this,
01:08let me start off with the smart stuff in here.
01:10This is, after all, a tech channel.
01:12So first off, there's a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system on here.
01:16I love how this lets you adjust the panel depending on what you want to see on the screen.
01:22This is also Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible and you can connect your phone via Bluetooth.
01:28Honestly, a great feature if you're like me who can't get anywhere without Waze.
01:33Down here, there's also wireless charging for your phone.
01:37The Ford Territory Titanium Plus also have what they call the 360-degree around view mirror.
01:43There is a 360-degree view on the infotainment screen here which for a while got me wondering how it does that
01:51because like, again, how?
01:53And the answer is cameras. Cameras all around the car.
01:56This also has sensors all around the car which will beep when anything gets near.
02:01Green for near, yellow for nearer, and red for nearest. Oh my god, it's near.
02:07Then there's also what Ford calls its blind spot information system.
02:12Basically, a spot on the side view mirror that lights up when there's something on the side of that car.
02:19I find that this also beeps when you signal and there is actually a car beside you.
02:25So basically, a thing that tells you, do not go, you're gonna bump into something on the sides of the car.
02:32Now, most importantly, and the thing that I got excited about when I was testing this car is that there's a self-parking feature.
02:39I'm not gonna lie, this can get tricky because to get it to work, the car has to actually detect the spot.
02:45So what happens is as you drive through a lot, you can pick which side the car scans for slots
02:51and you can also choose between parallel or straight parking.
02:54When it finally detects a spot, the car will take over the steering and park for you.
03:00I mean, you still have to do all other things like gassing and braking which makes you feel a little bit more in control.
03:07Pretty amazing when you get it right.
03:22Right, so inside the Ford Territory Titanium Plus.
03:25It seats five very, very comfortably and the interiors of the car are really nice.
03:32From the leather seats to the wood details to this ambient lighting that you can customize.
03:37Of course, I made it pink.
03:39I also love how this light changes when a door is opened.
03:42It's really just that added layer of security and awareness that it gives you.
03:47The center console gives you a number of controls, a cup holder, and a two-lid opening situation here.
03:54Now, to get it out of the way because I always check these in any vehicle,
03:58there are seven cup holders, that one on the center console, one on each of the four doors,
04:04and two on the back seat middle divider.
04:06There are a total of four USB ports, including one on the rearview mirror for a possible dash cam.
04:12Very convenient.
04:13And there's also a 12-volt power outlet.
04:16There's a sunglass holder up here and another teeny tiny thing I love,
04:20both passenger and driver seats have lights in the vanity mirror.
04:25Entertainment-wise, there are eight speakers in this car.
04:27There's also a moonroof that can be opened all the way,
04:31a sunroof, though you can't really open this all the way,
04:34and all the passenger space because, wow, this is one very spacious car.
04:40Now, I don't think I would do justice to this car video if I didn't test drive, which I did.
04:45Some cool things for the driver, this features an all-digital instrument cluster,
04:50and you can change around its looks.
04:52There's power adjustment on the driver's seat,
04:54and there's a heater and a cooler for both the driver and the passenger seat.
04:59Perfect thing on hot, humid days.
05:01Okay, so in terms of driving, a little background, I learned to drive in a manual SUV,
05:06and my dad's penchant for bigger cars mean most of the cars I've driven before are SUVs.
05:11And I will say that for an SUV type, this was a very light and easy drive.
05:16Like, it is a bigger vehicle, but it reminded me of driving a car more versus a bigger SUV,
05:22like, let's say, the Fortuner.
05:24And though this is a smaller SUV crossover type with a smaller rear compartment,
05:29at least compared to traditional SUVs,
05:31it definitely hits the mark in terms of passenger comfort.
05:35All added sensors and features are also very welcome,
05:38and it also just really adds to your overall driving confidence,
05:42knowing that all those things are there.
05:44I'd imagine this'd be perfect for someone who does a lot of city driving,
05:47considering I feel like the Ford Territory Titanium Plus really prioritizes passenger comfort,
05:53and well, for people who do occasional weekend trips like I took it on.
05:57All in all, I'd say that our weekend driving with this was a very fun one.
06:01The Ford Territory Titanium Plus is such an easy car to get behind,
06:06and get behind the wheel of.
06:09Another look at the Ford Territory Titanium.
