00:00Finally, a USB-C iPhone and it comes in pink.

00:11Today is iPhone day and I'll start with the iPhone that excited me most, the pink one.
00:16This is our look at the iPhone 15 and yes, I do have a look on other Apple devices that
00:21were just launched. I have a video on the Apple Watch 9 up already. I'll link it up here and down
00:25below and I will have a video of the iPhone 15 Pro. But back to the pink iPhone, let's unbox.
00:55Let's take a closer look at this phone now. This might seem like it's a smaller phone from
01:23what I unboxed because what I unboxed was the iPhone 15 Plus. This is the smaller iPhone 15
01:29because again, tiny hands. So I finally set it up. I love that even on the sides, it's pink. On this
01:37side, you have your volume rocker. At the bottom, you have your speakers and finally, a USB-C port.
01:44Who's excited about that? You have your SIM tray because this is the Hong Kong version. You have
01:49your volume buttons and you have that silent button. Well, it's not really a button. It's a
01:54toggle and you don't get an action button for the non-Pro iPhone 15s. So obviously, I absolutely love
02:01this color. It's nice and matte. That pink is supposedly infused into this whole back area.
02:07I mean, it looks really good. Even the edges are pink. It's so pretty. We finally get this pink
02:13iPhone and I've been saying I want a hot pink device but this isn't bad. It's so beautiful.
02:19That matte finish is so nice. That means we're not worrying about smudges anymore. So this also has
02:25a ceramic shield front and water resistance so we're covered. And again, we're getting a dynamic
02:32island on a non-Pro device. So aside from the looks and the new USB-C on this iPhone, you finally get
02:41the dynamic island. The iPhone 15 is also powered by the A16 Bionic which is the same chip that
02:46powered the iPhone 14 Pro. It also has a second gen ultra-wideband which now means that you can
02:52connect from three times further away. This means better find my features like for example, if you're
02:58traveling and you're lost in the crowd and you can't find your friends because God knows we lose
03:03friends. Just like the Apple Watch screen on the iPhone 15 is also brighter at 2,000 nits and this
03:10is twice as bright as the iPhone 14. Now, this phone comes in two sizes. The 6.1 inch device, the one
03:15that I got, and the 6.7 inch iPhone Plus. Now, the main difference is between the two. Basically, the
03:21iPhone Plus has a bigger screen and more battery. I personally got the 6.1 inch version because it's
03:26easier for my tinier hands. So the iPhone 15 reps a 48 megapixel main camera, a 12 megapixel wide,
03:35and a 12 megapixel selfie camera. But there are new features like a two times telephoto zoom on the
03:40main camera, two times zoom portraits, and even more portrait bokeh features. Let's do a quick camera
03:46tour and it's pretty jarring to see that dynamic island on a non-pro phone but I'm down. Here on
03:53camera, you have a wide 1x, 2x, up until 10x and that's the two times optical zoom right there you're
04:03seeing. Up here, you have live photos. You have your different settings. It's pretty much the same. You
04:09have your flash settings. You have your portrait mode and yes, you can do 2x optical on portrait.
04:16You have your different portrait mode settings on here and of course, you can adjust the aperture.
04:23On the right, your panel mode. You can do wide, 1x, 2x on panel mode. On the other side, we have video.
04:31You can shoot 4k 30, 60, or 24 fps here. There is an action mode, of course, that's not new. We've
04:38seen that before and you can do wide 1x, 2x. That's looking very, very clear and that can zoom up
04:48until 6x. You have your cinematic video which is basically portrait mode on video and you can do
04:561x, 2x, up until 3x and here, can you shoot 4k? Yes, 4k 24 and 30 fps. You can also adjust the bokeh.
05:07So basically, that means you can blur, make the background blurrier or less blurrier depending on
05:13how you like. You have a slow-mo mode that can do wide 1x, up until 3x and you can do 120 or 240.
05:23You can only shoot in HD though. You have a time-lapse mode, wide 1x, 2x. That's it and
05:33time for the selfies. Okay, don't mind me. This is my fresh face with no makeup. I just got
05:37in from a long flight. I haven't really slept. So, we are on time-lapse mode and you can do a slow-mo.
05:45Hello! And you can do 120 fps in HD. Cinematic mode and can you see how blurred the background
05:53is? You can do 4k 24 or 30 fps on selfie. We like that and you can also adjust the blur here. Then,
06:02we have video 4k 24, 30 or 60 fps on selfie. That's really good. I mean, Apple has always
06:09been pretty good at that and you can do a wider selfie on photo and turn on the aperture. You
06:15have your portrait mode, your different options. Can you zoom in or out on portrait mode? No, you
06:20cannot and you can switch out again the aperture, the blur amount on this mode. And back to panel.
06:28So, anyway, here are some sample shots.
06:58And that was our first look at the iPhone 15. I will say that subtle design changes on this device
07:06make for a big impact, especially in person. Though, I would have still loved the pinker iPhone
07:10but I'll take what I can get. I think the colors now are cuter. I like the feel of this phone. I
07:15like that matte texture and I really feel like this is a definite upgrade from the iPhone 14.
07:20The iPhone 15 does feel like more of a pro phone but that might also be because a lot of the
07:24elements from this phone are reminiscent of the iPhone 14 Pro. That being said, I'm pretty curious
07:30to see just how this iPhone 15 squares up to the iPhone 14 Pro in terms of camera capabilities.
