00:18We are unboxing the iPhone 13 Pro.
00:21We're checking out what is new with this phone,
00:23how it compares to the iPhone 13 and the 13 Pro Max.
00:28Also, some sample shots.
00:30I did get the gold version
00:32just because I felt it would match better with gold jewelry.
00:34This particular version also has 512GB of storage.

01:13So on the side, you have power button,
01:16speaker grills, lightning port, SIM tray, volume buttons,

01:21I will say after having been using the iPhone 13 Pro Max
01:26and using the iPhone 13 mini as my daily,
01:30this phone definitely does feel weightier, more solid.
01:34I don't know, maybe it's because it's in gold.
01:37But those shiny sides definitely make a big impact.
01:413 cam setup on the back and around those cameras,
01:45the details are also like gold.
01:47It's the same color as the sides.
01:50You have that bigger camera module.

02:36Setup was quite easy.
02:37It was pretty fast to transfer info from my old iPhone to my new iPhone.
02:42And yes, it's the iPhone 13 mini.

02:52Anyway, back to what we were doing.
02:54Everything's pretty much done after that initial setup.
02:56And really, really quickly, I just wanted to show you
02:59scrolling on these two different phones.
03:01Again, this is the iPhone 13 mini and this is the iPhone 13 Pro.
03:04I do notice that the iPhone 13 Pro is a little bit faster, a little bit snappier.
03:09Which brings us to the first thing I wanted to point out about this phone, its screen.
03:12This is a 6.1 inch Super Retina XDR display,
03:16the same size you'd find on an iPhone 13.
03:19But it's only the Pro models, the 13 Pro and the 13 Pro Max, which have ProMotion.
03:25That means an adaptive 120Hz display.
03:29Between the 13 and the 13 Pro, the 13 Pro also has a brighter screen
03:34that reaches up to 1,000 nits versus the 800 nits on the 13.
03:38All phones across the iPhone line are powered by the A15 Bionic chip.
03:41The Pro models, the iPhone 13 Pro and the Pro Max have a 5-core GPU
03:46versus the 4-core on the 13 and the 13 mini.
03:50That means they should be a little bit more powerful.
03:52Battery is also better on the 13 Pro versus the 13,
03:55though it's still the Pro Max which champions the best battery life in all of the latest iPhones.
04:00Tiny bit of a difference, but one that's pretty obvious when you look at these phones.
04:04Sides of the Pro version phones are made out of surgical stainless steel
04:07versus the aluminum on the 13 and the 13 mini.
04:10And of course, we have the difference in color offerings between the two phones.
04:15And also another exciting new iPhone feature,
04:18the new Pro phones already have a 1TB storage option.
04:23I have the 512GB version here, but yeah, you can get this with 1TB storage.
04:28That's a lot of photos and videos.
04:29And speaking of photos and videos,
04:31these cameras are the best cameras on any iPhone right now
04:34versus the 13 and the 13 mini which have two cameras on the back,
04:38the Pro versions have three.
04:40You have the main shooter with sensor shift technology,
04:42you have a telephoto lens for up until 3x optical zoom and 15x digital zoom,
04:49and there's that Y that can also do macro.
04:52Mind you, the iPhone 13 mini and the iPhone 13 cannot do that much zoom
04:58nor does it have macro capabilities.
05:00Also, the 13 Pro and the 13 Pro Max has a LiDAR sensor
05:04which allow for good nighttime portraits.
05:07Now, these Pro phones can also do ProRes video at 4K30,
05:13but on the 128GB version of the Pro phones,
05:16you can only do 1080p30 of ProRes video
05:20which sort of makes sense because you'd think all of that would entail a lot of storage.
05:25But yeah, that's still a little sad that the 128GB version can't do that.
05:30Selfie cameras, on the other hand, though we do get a smaller notch,
05:35meaning again, more screen across the board for all of the iPhone 13 phones,
05:40we're getting similar selfie camera hardware across the board.
05:44Of course, all of these iPhones also have the new camera features.
05:47You have cinematic mode, you have photographic styles,
05:50but yeah, since we're talking about the cameras now,
05:53time for some sample shots.

06:30And that, friends, was our first look at the iPhone 13 Pro.
06:33I personally tend to go for the minis because tiny hands and tiny pockets.
06:39And you guys know that I love pink.
06:41But aside from pink, I also really, really, really like gold.
06:45So happy I got this version because I like the look so much.
06:49For people who want to create content on their phones
06:51or just want the best that Apple can offer in terms of cameras and in general features,
06:57the 13 Pro along with the 13 Pro Max, if you like it bigger,
07:02might be something you'd want to look at.
07:04And I've got to be honest, I've been on the 13 Pro for a few days now
07:07and especially coming from the 13 mini, I already see how great the cameras are.
07:13And that's saying a lot because you guys know how much I've been rooting for the mini form factor.
07:19I always knew that the 13 Pro or the Pro line cameras were good,
07:23but I didn't know they'd be this much better.
07:27But let's save all these thoughts for my upcoming videos,
07:30camera vlog tests on the 13 mini and the 13 Pro.
07:34Of course, it's just my first look at this phone.
07:37I would need more time with it to sort of get to know it and make up my mind about it fully.
