00:00Good day, you beautiful people. Welcome to Issa Does Tech, where we do tech in your life, in style.
00:14Now, I was just in Berlin for the launch of the Xiaomi 13T series, and I already have a video
00:20testing out the cameras of the Xiaomi 13T Pro. I'll link it up here and down below. But in this video,
00:26we're checking out the Xiaomi 13T, which is technically the little brother to the Xiaomi
00:3113T Pro. In this video, we're going to unbox, well, it's already unboxed, but I'm going to
00:35show you what's in the box. We're going to be looking at what's new. We're going to be putting
00:38this phone side by side with a Xiaomi 13T Pro. We're also doing a camera tour and some sample shots.
00:44Let's go.
01:44Let's take a closer look at this phone. First off, I'm really liking this green. It's a pretty
01:56refreshing color. Although, I will say that nothing beats a 13T Pro blue leather vegan back.
02:03Nevertheless, I'm happy they're coming up with less boring colors. No pink, but this is cute.
02:08I will say it is a very shiny back, and these phones tend to be a little bit slippery, especially
02:14if you have smaller hands like mine. You may be getting smudgy on the back here.
02:20You get the Leica branding on there because you get Leica cameras on this phone too. It is quite
02:26a sizable module, and really for the 13T and the 13T Pro, you get the same cameras. We'll put those
02:32two phones side by side later on in this video. For comparison's sake, stay tuned. You get that
02:37rounded back, and on this side, you have your volume rockers, unlock button. At the bottom,
02:43speakers, USB-C port, SIM tray, same curved back, and the other sides are cleaner. That's also a
02:50nice snappy screen. I believe you get the same screen on this as a 13T Pro as well. 20 megapixel
02:57selfie camera up there. Again, same as the one on the 13T Pro. Now, that being said though, how is
03:03this, the 13T, different from the 13T Pro? Let's put them side by side. So, there's the Xiaomi 13T
03:11Pro, and this is the Xiaomi 13T. So, these two phones are obviously the same size, the same
03:17thickness. In hand, they feel like the same phone. Both backs a little smudgy. Camera modules are the
03:24same because like I said, these two phones have technically the same camera hardware on the back,
03:30all Leica. On this side, button placement is the same. At the bottom, basically mostly identical.
03:37So, what are the differences between the 13T and the 13T Pro? Well, number one, they run on
03:43different processors. Number two, even if they have technically the same hardware on the back
03:49and front of the phone, it's only the 13T Pro that can do 8K video. And finally, even if both phones
03:57have the same 5,000 mAh battery capacity, the 13T has 67W wired charging while the 13T Pro has
04:04that 120W wired charging. Right, quick camera tour time. Let's go. First off, you have the same
04:13Leica styles. You have vibrant or authentic, and you can see the difference. You can switch back
04:19and forth between these two, but let's choose authentic this time around. So, you have wide, 1X,
04:262X, up until, oh, look at the detail, 20X on this. And do you see how at 20X, it's not wobbly at all.
04:38It's amazing how good this phone is at stabilizing these shots. Look at the zooms on this. This is
04:47the building outside next door. This is the balcony. Anyway, if you're curious to see how
04:53these cameras perform, I do have a camera vlog test on the 13T Pro. Not on the 13T, but on the
04:5913T Pro. You can check it out. I'll link it up here and down below. But okay, here you do have
05:05your different filters, and these are the additional Leica filters that they added onto the phone.
05:11You have your beauty filters up here. You can switch back and forth between vibrant and authentic,
05:17HDR settings, tap down, and you get even more camera settings. Oh, and that Leica watermark,
05:23you can turn it on here. On the side, you have your portrait mode. So, you get 35mm, 50mm,
05:32and 90mm, all very classic portrait looks. And you can switch between all of those here,
05:40or adjust the aperture settings. On portrait mode here, you also have your beauty filters
05:46and your different filters. On the right of that, you have night mode. You have wide, 1X,
05:522X, up until 10X on night mode. And under more, you have your 50MP shooter, you have your panorama
06:01mode, a short film mode that allows you to edit more cinematic videos without all the fuss.
06:06Basically, you get different templates, and you just point your camera, take the clip, and your
06:12phone will edit that for you. You also have your slow motion mode, time lapse mode, and long
06:17exposure mode. On the other side, on video, you have wide, 1X, 2X, up until 10X. Whoa, look at that.
06:28And of course, one of the main differences between this and the 13T Pro, this can only do as far as
06:344K. The 13T Pro can do 8K. You have a document scanner, you have a pro mode, and you can use
06:42all the different cameras on here. You can do video as well. And then, of course, no selfie
06:47camera. On video, I have no makeup on. Be nice. You have 1080p or 720 on video. That's the same as
06:57the 13T Pro. And can you zoom in or out? No, you cannot. On photo, you have only this. No zooming in
07:07or out either. You have your very specific beauty mode and different filters. You have a portrait
07:13mode also. You can toggle the aperture, but you can add on those different profiles we saw with
07:20the rear cameras. And then, of course, you have the night mode. Now, onto some sample shots.
07:38And that was our first look at the Xiaomi 13T. Let me know what you guys think about this device.
