00:00What's up guys, today we're going to be doing a quick little speed and camera comparison
00:07for the iPhone 14 Pro versus the new Xiaomi 12T that I've been using here.
00:13And let's go ahead and get started just to give you guys a quick size comparison.
00:17If you guys can see that.
00:20Very nice.
00:21These are two very nice looking devices here.
00:23Let's go ahead and unlock both of these guys.
00:26Now the Mi or the 12T does use an in display fingerprint sensor which is very fast.
00:32But it also uses the face unlock as well too.
00:36But with the iPhone of course you only get that face ID which works really well too here.
00:42So let's go ahead and just get into it.
00:44Alright let's go ahead and talk about the specs a little bit more.
00:46So the 12T does have the Dimensity 8100 UltraTrip and it does have Android 12 with MIUI 13.
00:54No SD card support and then 256GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM.
00:59The iPhone does have the new Apple A16 chip and this is running iOS 16 with 128GB of storage
01:06and 6GB of RAM here.
01:09Both devices are very smooth since they are running at 120Hz.
01:13So scrolling and stuff they feel very fluid on both of these devices here.
01:17Let's just go ahead and launch YouTube.
01:21You can see it look like the, it was almost a tie there.
01:25You can see just super super smooth here when it comes to scrolling.
01:33Let's go ahead and try Subway Surf.
01:37You guys will actually be surprised at the 12T's PUBG performance.
01:42Guys can see there, again it's still pretty much on par with the iPhone in terms of being
01:48able to open applications up.
01:50Let's go ahead and talk about both of the displays on both of these two phones.
01:54So the 12T does have a 6.67 inch display.
01:57It's a technically a 1.5K display or you could say 1080p plus.
02:04It's really nice.
02:05It's AMOLED, 120Hz, HDR10+, 446 for the PPI so super sharp and then you have the punch
02:11hole in the middle and then with the iPhone you have the LTPO, LTPO XDR OLED display.
02:17It's 120Hz, HDR10.
02:20It's super bright at 2000 nits peak brightness, one of the brightest displays actually at
02:246.1 inches.
02:25This is also a technically a 1080p plus display and it's 460 for the PPI.
02:31You can see Apple's new punch hole here.
02:34Both displays are very very nice.
02:37The only real difference that I think the casual person will be able to tell is the
02:40iPhone is definitely a little bit brighter outdoors since it has that max brightness
02:46at 2000 nits.
02:47Two very nice looking panels here.
02:51Alright let's keep going and do the Chrome.
02:55Let's go ahead and open up the Verge.
03:00You can see 12T is super quick right here.
03:04Scrolling super buttery smooth.
03:06So the iPhone I noticed has a slower scroll and on Android you have like this really fast
03:11sort of scroll.
03:13It really comes down to whichever one you like.
03:18You guys can see that difference there.
03:21Now let's go ahead and open up PUBG.
03:24Now you guys will be surprised, I've been playing games on the 12T, not only is this
03:28phone super cool but it's actually able to play PUBG at 90 frames and the iPhone for
03:35right now it cannot, it used to have that setting but it probably takes some time to
03:39get it optimized.
03:40So I was really impressed by that.
03:41You can see the iPhone hopping in there and just hopping to a game real quick.
03:52You guys can see that 90 frames option on the 12T here and it's extremely super smooth
04:00so it's actually low key a really good gaming phone for this price just the fact that it
04:06stays pretty cool.
04:07And you guys can see that 90 frames option here, just buttery smooth when you're playing
04:13video games.
04:15It's just crazy smooth, I always love seeing games running 90 frames, it really does make
04:19a difference if you're play shooters.
04:22You can see iPhone again, you know we don't have that 90 frames on the smooth but we do
04:27have HDR extreme on here and it does play really well.
04:30So that is really awesome, both of these phones are great for gaming but right now you have
04:35just better optimization for PUBG you know as of right now.
04:38Let's go ahead and check out both stereo speakers.
05:05So really good bass quality on the 12T actually, surprised me.
05:19I can feel the 12T vibrating on the table here.
05:26The iPhone does have like a thumpy sound but I can actually feel like the.
05:31So just really good speakers on both of these devices, very loud, I would actually give
05:37it a tie here.
05:38I really like how they did the speakers on here, yeah it's like I can feel the vibration
05:47it's pretty interesting.
05:48Alright so excellent speakers on both of these devices, super loud if you cover the bottom
05:53one these top speakers do such a great job as well too which is really nice.
05:58Alright let's talk about the camera, so I'm going to show you guys the side by side stills
06:03here but you do have a 108 megapixel camera on the 12T, it's also a 8 megapixel ultra
06:09wide with a 2 megapixel macro, it shoots in 4K 30 and then you have a 20 megapixel selfie
06:14cam that shoots in 1080p 60 on here.
06:18And then on the iPhone you have the 48 megapixel standard camera on here, 12 megapixel telephoto
06:24does 3x and then a 12 megapixel ultra wide on here.
06:28You also have a macro mode on here as well too, it shoots in 4K 60 on the front and back
06:34with a 12 megapixel selfie.
06:36Check out the side by side stills and let me know which photo do you guys prefer here.
06:54Alright guys, that's it for this video, I hope you enjoyed it, if you did make sure
07:17to give this video a thumbs up, comment down below and I'll see you guys in the next one.
07:23Alright guys, here's the video on the 12T, you guys can see here, here's my 2x telephoto
07:53back zoom.
08:00Let me know what you guys think.
08:01Alright guys, here's the video on the iPhone, here's also my 2x and my 3x.
08:18Alright guys, let's talk about the battery situation because I thought this was somewhere
08:27where the 12T does an excellent job in.
08:29So not only does it have a pretty good battery life at 5000 milliamps, this thing charges
08:35crazy fast at 120 watts.
08:38The only downside with the battery on here is that there is no wireless charging on this
08:43phone.
08:44But with the 120 watts, I'm telling you, it's almost like supernatural charging speeds.
08:49It charges ridiculously fast, even from just 0%.
08:53It is crazy fast.
08:54They're saying you get to 100% in 19 minutes, guys, that's under 20 minutes from zero.
08:59I mean, it's just crazy.
09:01So the iPhone obviously has nowhere near that type of charging speeds.
09:06But this has a 3200 milliamp battery and battery life is pretty good on here.
09:09I turned the always on display off.
09:12Most of these phones easily get 6 hours of screen on time.
09:14They get all day battery.
09:16But like I said, you get wireless charging with this one, but nowhere near, even close
09:20to the charging speeds.
09:22Apple doesn't even give you a charger in a box, so that's also something you need to
09:25know.
09:26And then you also get the MagSafe wireless charging, you can stick stuff to the back
09:30of this phone, stuff like that, which is nice.
09:32So the battery situation really depends on whether you want the wireless charging or
09:39the super fast charging.
09:41So that depends on you.
09:42So be sure to let me know what do you guys think and I'll catch you guys in the next
09:45one.
