00:00The students must be able to work safely and learn safely.
00:09So we have simulators of various levels, from the most basic level,
00:14which is the one in which the student learns to visit the patient,
00:18as if it were a real patient, to learn the maneuver itself,

00:26on the other hand, we go towards simulation situations,
00:29in which the student may have learned to do that technique,
00:32but there is a patient who speaks to him, who reacts.
00:35So there it is very interesting, because this is also useful for those who are already
00:39actually a professional, you learn to manage yourself and the situations.
00:43The conflict, the patient who starts crying,
00:46I, as I felt during this maneuver,
00:50there was a crisis and I lost my head, or I knew how to be the team leader.
00:54These are all very important things for the everyday life of a professional.
01:00We teachers must adapt to the way of learning of the students.
01:04The students have changed a lot in these years.
01:07Why have they changed? Because they are children of their time.
01:11They are used to images, they are used to influence information very quickly,
01:15they can't stand being in the classroom, hearing a very long speech.
01:20They learn by doing, and then this is the fulcrum of their learning,
01:24that they do, and then together we reflect on what has been done,
01:27and together we go to study on books.
01:29But it's a bit the opposite of what our training was,
01:32and so we teachers too have to re-learn all the medical pedagogy that suits us.
