00:00Hello there. Thundery showers are likely yet again through Friday. There'll be a fairly
00:05scattered affair with some drier interludes, but across the far north of Scotland, a rain
00:09warning in place from Thursday into Friday morning with some persistent rain. Through
00:13Thursday evening, those thunderstorms rumble on with the risk of some heavy, if not torrential
00:18downpours, a mix of hail and lightning mixed in, particularly, I'd say, across northern
00:22England, northern parts of Wales, up towards border regions. Also, we can see some showery
00:27rain just moving in across Wales as well as the West Country, across the far north
00:30of Scotland. That's where the rain warning is and here's some persistent rain, some heavy
00:34rain at that, and some high rainfall totals over the next 12 hours. Wherever you are,
00:39a lot of cloud, although it will dry up across central and eastern areas of England. Temperatures
00:44holding up around 12, 13 in the north, up to around 16, 17 in the south, so still rather
00:50balmy as we head through to Friday morning. First thing on Friday across Scotland, here's
00:55that wet weather continuing through the morning across the Northern Isles, the Western Isles
00:59and the far north-west of Scotland. Now, below that, to the south of that, the cloud will
01:04break at times, allowing some brighter weather. Not the case for Northern Ireland, a cloudy
01:08start to the day and some showery rain likely also across Wales, north-west England. Again,
01:12the odd heavy burst can't be ruled out. Further east, the cloud is more broken. We are likely
01:17to see some brighter weather coming and going as the cloud drifts across the sky. However,
01:22through the morning, as the sun gets to work, showers will break out pretty much anywhere
01:26and they could be heavy with the risk of thunder. But through the afternoon, some sunshine will
01:32appear as well. Eastern areas of Scotland, eastern England, down towards England and
01:36Wales. But you can see these showers will be slow moving. The winds are fairly light,
01:40so if you catch one, it could last for a while, but down the road, it could remain dry. Across
01:45the far north of Scotland, we lose the intensity of that rain, but still lots of cloud here.
01:50Cloudier skies for western Scotland with a brisk breeze. Highest temperatures will
01:54be eastern England where you catch some sunshine. Across eastern Scotland, 23, 24 for the likes
01:59of East Anglia. Into the weekend, low pressure still influences us on Saturday. It means
02:05we will see a lot of cloud and also some showery bursts of rain from time to time, although
02:09it will dry up from the south-west with some cloud breaks, allowing some brighter weather
02:13towards the end of the day. Come Sunday, this ridge comes in. That keeps things fairly quiet.
02:18The winds remain light. A higher chance of seeing some sunshine, but with those greens
02:22migrating across the north of the country, temperatures will struggle. 16 or 17. Further
02:26south, 20, 21 degrees Celsius. Bye-bye.
