00:00computer science videos here today to show you guys in this tutorial how to

00:05use Microsoft PowerPoint on a Mac computer tutorial 30 duplicate your

00:10presentation without further ado let us start the videos and this tutorial you

00:15need to have access to a Mac computer have access to the desktop application

00:19Microsoft PowerPoint we're gonna start the tutorial let's now go down to the

00:22dock go to finder go to the OneDrive folder locate the file work.vptx

00:28double-click on this let's wait for that to load in the meantime we can minimize

00:32finder now the purpose of this tutorial is to duplicate the current PowerPoint

00:39presentation which equates to copying the original to create a duplicate

00:48version of the presentation so if I go to the toolbar or the navigation menu on

00:55top where it says file if we click on this we can save as a copy this will ask

01:04us to choose a location where we wish to have the presentation copied let's just

01:13click on desktop click on save and now the PowerPoint presentation has been

01:21saved onto the desktop if I were to quit PowerPoint let's now go down to the dock

01:28go back to finder we have the original in the OneDrive folder and now the

01:33duplicate on the desktop if I were to click on the desktop version of the

01:44PowerPoint presentation if I were to make some changes on the desktop

01:51PowerPoint presentation these changes that have been made to the presentation

01:58saved on the desktop would not be made to the presentation within the OneDrive

02:06folder this is a duplicate version unless it's an alias that's a different

02:15story a situation for another video so we can now go down to the dock again go

02:24to finder go to the OneDrive folder click on work.pptx and this is the

02:33original so we can now quit PowerPoint quit finder and so that's it for this
