00:00And welcome to Hannity.
00:03And tonight, Donald Trump on Long Island in New York, oh, my old stomping grounds, for
00:09a massive rally.
00:11Supporters, they waited as long as 24 hours to get a spot inside the arena.
00:16Reports are anywhere from 60,000 to 80,000 people wanted to get in.
00:19The arena does not hold that many.
00:22Bad news for Democrats in New York, who are facing an increasingly competitive political
00:27landscape, especially in Long Island.
00:29Meanwhile, more bad news for Democrats nationwide.
00:32Enthusiasm for Kamala Harris is collapsing.
00:35Take a look.
00:36What was really incredible is in every single restaurant of the people willing to talk to
00:40us, we could only find one Harris supporter in every restaurant.
00:44And we left no stone unturned.
00:45I approached every single person, except for this one guy who I think had too many drinks
00:49at the bar.
00:50But people are really excited about Trump.
00:54What you just saw is now backed up by a lot of polls.
00:57Kamala Harris is 25 points underwater among independents, according to the latest Gallup
01:01poll in the all-important swing state, I guess, of Georgia.
01:05We can now call it Kamala is down by three points to Donald Trump.
01:08A new poll released this morning from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
01:13That's not all.
01:14Two internal polls conducted by the Teamsters union found that nearly 60 percent of rank
01:19and file members, they support Donald Trump.
01:22Now, here's the interesting part.
01:24Today, the union leadership decided not to endorse any candidate.
01:30Frankly, to me, that's a slap in the face to the rank and file.
01:34And frankly, Teamsters leadership, they need to wise up and realize the Democratic Party
01:40is the party of coastal elites and the party of regulations, you know, like E.V. mandates
01:46that cost Ford Motor Company four and a half billion dollars to make cars that their customers
01:52didn't want, cars that were already being made by companies like Tesla.
01:57And that crushes high paying career union jobs.
02:01And Republicans are the party of now hardworking men and women, the people that make this country
02:06great.
02:07But this is the first time in nearly three decades that the Teamsters declined to endorse
02:12the Democrat that is running for president.
02:14So I guess that's progress.
02:16But they need to be in sync with their rank and file.
02:18Keep in mind, the Teamsters union has a huge presence in Michigan, in Wisconsin, in Pennsylvania.
02:25Kamala's troubles, they don't end there today.
02:27For whatever reason, she decided to resurrect one of her favorite word sounds about the
02:32children in the community who are children of the community that live in the community.
02:38Take a look.
02:39I grew up understanding the children of the community are the children of the community.
02:47And they live in the community and everything.
02:49Kamala was speaking at an event for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.
02:53Oh, naturally, the vice president adopting, well, Hillary Clinton's old model of bizarre
02:59new accents when she is in front of different crowds.
03:03Take a look.
03:04Oh, it's good to see so many friends.
03:08I love you back.
03:13If you kind of keep track of these things, this is Kamala's fifth or sixth new little
03:18accent on the campaign.
03:20You decide.
03:21Hello to all my divine nine brothers and sisters and my sorority.
03:32You better thank a union member for sick leave.
03:33You better thank a union member for paid leave.
03:34You better thank a union member for vacation time.
03:35You all helped us win in 2020.
03:36And we're going to do it again in 2024.
03:37Let's just get through the next 64 days.
03:44The courts are going to handle that.
03:57We're going to beat them in November.
03:58And I will tell you, when we get this done together, my friend.
04:00Can I get a witness?
04:01The plan.
04:02And then the environment is such that we're expected to defend the plan.
04:18Apparently Kamala is now trying to mirror Hillary Clinton.
04:21I don't feel in no ways tired, but it's just never, you know, ending.
04:26It's her ever changing accent.
04:28And nearly all Kamala Harris has long held beliefs.
04:32They are radical.
04:33They are left wing.
04:34They're now suddenly changing, too, at least since she has become the presumptive nominee.
04:38Now, that's what she wants you to believe in America to believe at the debate.
04:42She even claimed to be a proud gun owner.
04:45She packs her gun, she said, and she would never come for anyone's firearms, she claimed.
04:51But as San Francisco's D.A., Kamala, well, she bragged that she could send authorities
04:56into your home at any legal gun owner, inspect their firearms and seize them if necessary.
05:03Wow.
05:04On top of a mandatory gun buyback.
05:06Take a look.
05:07This is about just basically saying that we're going to require responsible behaviors among
05:08everybody in the community.
05:09And just because you legally possess a gun in the sanctity of your locked home doesn't
05:10mean that we're not going to walk into that home and check to see if you're being responsible
05:23and safe in the way you conduct your affair.
05:28So we're supposed to believe that the person you heard right there is going to uphold and
05:31protect our Second Amendment freedoms.
05:34A few years later, as a presidential candidate, just a couple of years ago, she called for
05:39that mandatory gun buyback.
05:41Some of us may call it confiscation.
05:44And that's only the tip of the iceberg.
05:46Now, she co-sponsored the ninety three trillion dollar Green New Deal, pledged to eliminate
05:52the filibuster to pass it.
05:54That would end capitalism as we know it.
05:56She co-sponsored the socialist government health care for all bill.
06:00How's the post office working for you?
06:02How's keep your doctor, keep your plan and save money working for you?
06:06And isn't Medicare and Social Security headed towards insolvency?
06:10Don't forget, she also supported a ban on private health insurance in that bill, repeatedly
06:15called for a total ban on fracking and offshore drilling.
06:18She also called on the government to reduce America's red meat consumption and advocated
06:24for a ban on plastic straws in case she thought you forgot.
06:28She mocked Donald Trump's border wall, called it a medieval vanity project, said that illegal
06:34immigration should be decriminalized.
06:37And she has acted as such as your borders are and is offering illegal immigrants come
06:43to this country, free housing, health care, education and case you don't know, free sex
06:50change operations and amnesty, or she likes to say a path to earn citizenship.
06:57She also planned to get rid of ice and said the public safety needs to be reimagined with
07:01fewer police.
07:03She even promoted that bail fund in Minnesota to get violent criminals and rioters out of
07:09jail four days after Minneapolis police precinct was burned to the ground.
07:14And then she called on the rioters in the summer of 2020, uh, not to stop writing.
07:19They're not going to stop.
07:20They shouldn't stop.
07:22I thought we would refer to that as an insurrection in case Liz Cheney's watching.
07:26Now, Kamala Harris is not your typical Democrat.
07:29She is a far left radical Marxist whose beliefs, you know, are absolutely out of touch with
07:36the mainstream.
07:37She is extreme, radical, and frankly, if ever implemented, uh, dangerous, you know,
07:43and then she chooses a very weird China obsessed left wing nut job to be a running mate.
07:48Now, maybe this is why she quote, avoids getting too detailed when she battles Trump according
07:54to the Hill or why she has done zero press conferences, no town halls since her coronation
08:00or why she almost hardly ever sits down with reporters.
08:04Take a look at this statistic, Joe Biden.
08:06He had to hide in his basement and, you know, hang out at the beach.
08:10He was exhausted.
08:11He had a reason.
08:12At least he was suffering from significant cognitive decline and he was very old.
08:18And by the way, he took more questions in the last two months of his failed campaign
08:22than Kamala Harris has taken during her entire run for president.
08:27If Kamala is unable, unwilling to even talk to the democratic cheerleaders in the state
08:31run media mob, how on earth would she ever be able to confront president Xi, uh, Vladimir
08:38Putin, the mullahs of Iran, Kim Jong-un apparently that is of no concern to speaking of our old
08:45friend Liz Cheney.
08:46She is so deeply infected with Trump derangement syndrome.
08:50She has seemingly abandoned all of her conservative beliefs.
08:53If you ever, if she ever had them in fact, uh, she's even campaigning against Ted Cruz
08:59in Texas driven by nothing but hatred, resentment, spite.
09:03The Cheney's now wants socialists in charge of your federal government.
09:07But if you think Liz Cheney's Trump derangement syndrome is bad, well, you know, think again.
09:13And by the way, uh, didn't they refer to her father as Darth Vader?
09:17Didn't they want her father tried for war crimes?
09:20Uh, didn't they go after her father for Halliburton and the monies that he made there?
09:26Anyway, look at this poll.
09:2717% of Americans think the country would be better off if Donald Trump or killed during
09:33the two assassination attempts.
09:35Now look at this statistic of that, uh, 28% of Democrats, uh, would think the country
09:42would be better off if Donald Trump were killed.
09:45These are really ugly, sick, twisted times.
09:49This is all a direct result of nonstop smear, slander, besmirchment, the weaponization of
09:55top government agencies, lies, false caricatures that they have created, especially in the
10:01state run media mob of all things, Donald Trump and their unwillingness to vet in any
10:06way imaginable Kamala Harris.
10:09And apparently by the way, the mullows in Iran, they are also dead set against Donald
10:13Trump having another term.
10:15Why, why would you, why would you go against Kamala Harris and Joe Biden when they're the
10:19ones that turned a blind eye towards sanctions and allowed them to make hundreds of billions
10:24of dollars that they're using to fight their proxy wars around the world and their battle
10:28against Israel, uh, and give waivers, sanction waivers that gave them $10 billion plus payments
10:36and even offered 6 billion themselves as a hostage payment.
10:40Now the Islamic Republic, remember you might recall the story, they hacked the Trump campaign
10:45and then what did they do with that sensitive material?
10:47Well, they sent it to the Biden campaign and yet the left is largely silent about this
10:52foreign election interference here with reaction, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, boy, they really don't
10:58like you Senator.
10:59Uh, uh, I don't, I view it as a badge of honor, but I think when all is said and done, uh,
11:06you have an opponent that like Kamala Harris is hiding, has voted with Kamala Harris and
11:11Joe Biden, I think 98 or 99% of the time.
11:15And they're dumping probably in the end what will be the equivalent of $200 million in
11:20negative ads on your head.
11:23And meanwhile, you have been in the forefront of trying to protect the people in Texas with
11:28this open border insanity, which I give you all the credit in the world for.
11:33Yeah.
11:34Well, Sean, you're exactly right.
11:36The hard left is coming after me and they're coming after me hard.
11:40My opponent, Colin Allred is a radical left-wing Congressman.
11:44He's voted with Nancy Pelosi his first four years in the, in the house.
11:47He voted with Pelosi 100% of the time.
11:50He's voted for open borders repeatedly.
11:52He's voted to abolish the police and defund the police.
11:55He's voted against ice.
11:57He's voted against deporting illegal aliens who violently assault police officers.
12:03He's voted for higher taxes, more spending.
12:05He's voted against oil and gas and jobs in Texas.
12:09And yet money is flooding into the race.
12:13I am being outspent dramatically.
12:15He's been on TV for three months straight.
12:17I just went on TV two weeks ago and, and you could see why.
12:21If you look at the DNC convention, when he spoke at the DNC convention, at the end of
12:25his remarks, the entire stadium spontaneously began chanting, beat Ted Cruz.
12:32I was the only elected official who got that particular honor.
12:35I got to tell you, Sean, I feel pretty proud of that because the people trying to destroy
12:39America, they're pissed off that I'm standing in their way, but they're flooding cash in
12:44my race.
12:45Liz Cheney, who is out campaigning for Kamala Harris, is campaigning for my opponent too,
12:50and the money is flowing in.
12:52So, so I need your listeners to go to TedCruz.org, TedCruz.org.
12:57Go and make a contribution of 25 or 50 or a hundred bucks or, or maybe even more, but
13:02go to TedCruz.org right now because Chuck Schumer is explicit.
13:07I'm his number one target in the country and Schumer and Soros and Liz Cheney, they are
13:12coming after me because they want to take out their opposition in the Senate and they
13:17want to have open borders.
13:18They want to continue the destruction of our country.
13:21All right.
13:22Where are we now with the, with the state of the race from your vantage point, not just
13:27your race, the presidential race?
13:29One of the things that frustrates me, and that's why as a public service, the media
13:33won't do their job, so I'll do their job for them.
13:36I put on my website, Hannity.com and on all my social media, and it's all for free, uh,
13:42what I call the Kamala files and I have the walls files and I have them in their own words
13:47expressing all the radicalism that I outlined in my monologue that I'm not sure most Americans
13:53know about yet.
13:54And I think if they did know about how extreme she was on, you know, free healthcare, housing,
14:00education, amnesty, and sex change operations for illegal immigrants and decriminalizing
14:06it.
14:07No fracking, no drilling, defund, dismantle the police.
14:10I think if they knew about her sponsorship of the $93 trillion green new deal, uh, Medicare
14:17government healthcare for all, including illegal immigrants and no private health insurance.
14:22I don't think there's a chance in hell anyone won't vote for her or the guy that you're
14:25running against.
14:28Yeah, look, you're highlighting Kamala's record is incredibly important.
14:32You know, Sean, there's a basic dynamic in national political contest, which is conservatives
14:37win when we effectively articulate what we believe because our ideas work and this country's
14:42fundamentally a center, right country liberals win when they effectively obfuscate what they
14:47believe when they hide what they believe.
14:49So Kamala Harris, I've served with Kamala for years in the Senate.
14:52She's been a hard left vote over and over and over again.
14:56She's always opposed the wall.
14:57She's voted against the wall every time.
14:59She's right now spending millions of dollars running ads, TV ads with images of Trump's
15:04border wall.
15:05My opponent, Colin Allred, same thing.
15:07He voted against the wall, not once, not twice, three times.
15:11He calls the border wall, that racist border wall, and he pledged to personally tear down
15:18quote that racist border wall.
15:20Right now, my opponent, Colin Allred is running TV ads, millions of dollars with him in front
15:25of what he calls that racist border wall.
15:28It is dishonest, but they know their agenda is unpopular.
15:32They know open borders are unpopular.
15:33They know undermining law enforcement and defunding the police is unpopular.
15:38They know Colin Allred voted to allow boys to compete against girls in sports and boys
15:42to go in girls' bathrooms and boys to go in girls' locker rooms.
15:46They know that Texans and most Americans don't support that radical agenda, so they do everything
15:52they can to hide it.
15:54And it's why, when you're a Republican, the fundraising is so important, because the corporate
15:58media, Sean, you're telling the truth, but if you shift over to CNN or ABC or NBC or
16:03CBS, they don't talk about Kamala's record.
16:06They talk about CNN.
16:08Jake Tapper said, well, Kamala's gotten a lot more conservative on the border.
16:12No, she hasn't.
16:13She supports open borders.
16:14She is the border czar right now, and that means if you're a conservative, you've got
16:20to raise money to communicate the actual records.
16:22That's why it's so important to go to TedCruz.org, because without those resources, Texans won't
16:28know my record and they won't know Colin Allred's record.
16:31And by the way, that's exactly what Trump needs to do, is communicate the great successes
16:36when he was president versus the incredible failures under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
16:42All right, Senator Ted Cruz, appreciate you being with us.
16:46Our next guest is deeply concerned about the DOJ's investigation and weaponization,
16:52especially they're now investigating the recent assassination attempt against President Trump
16:58after all, can the same Department of Justice that is trying to throw Donald Trump in jail
17:04really have the former president's best interest at heart?
17:08Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is with us, launching a state probe to the attempted assassination
17:14of President Trump.
17:16Governor, great to have you.
17:18So we know the Department of Justice has been weaponized.
17:21I don't think anybody really disputes that.
17:23Even most legal scholars see that for what it is.
17:28And I think Donald Trump in the end is going to be successful in that effort.
17:31With that said, you don't have confidence in the federal government and the weaponized
17:37DOJ and their ability to do the job.
17:39Tell us why.
17:41Well, first, Sean, we have violations of Florida law, attempted murder.
17:47There are also a number of potential violations across multiple jurisdictions.
17:52Just as a matter of course, Florida is serious about upholding its laws.
17:56When people break them, they face the music.
17:59That's just the way we do it.
18:01Then you also have this other question.
18:03In addition to making sure you throw the book at the suspect and that he serves in jail
18:08for the rest of his life, which is the appropriate punishment, how did this happen?
18:14Where did this guy come from?
18:15How did he end up in the state of Florida?
18:16How did he end up burrowed in those bushes in a part of that golf course perimeter, which
18:22is the most vulnerable location?
18:25When you're playing that course, and I've played the course when Donald Trump was president.
18:30So when security was at its height, I played that course.
18:33You have the fifth hole, sixth hole, seventh tee box.
18:37That's all right on the tree line that is right in front of a road.
18:42That would be the place that people would do, and yet this guy was able to burrow in
18:45there for 12 hours and almost get off his shot.
18:50Hats off to the Secret Service agent that engaged him before he was able to do it, but
18:56he was in a place where he shouldn't have been.
18:59So I think that there's a lot of questions about that.
19:01The state of Florida, that was not our responsibility.
19:04That was obviously the Secret Service's responsibility, so we don't have any agencies that are going
19:09to try to pass the buck or anything.
19:11We just want to get to the truth, and we want people to know the facts.
19:15The agents around the president were heroic, amazing.
19:19I don't have enough positive adjectives to say about them.
19:22Sheriff's Department, under your jurisdiction, they were amazing.
19:27Local police, they were amazing.
19:30Where the screw-up came is you have the most vulnerable area of that golf course, that
19:36treed area around the holes you mentioned, and this is the area that is well-known to
19:41be vulnerable because that's where paparazzi will hide to get videos or pictures of the
19:46president playing golf.
19:49Why they did not sweep that treed area is inexplicable to me, and in many ways unforgivable.
19:56It allowed a guy with an AK-47 with a scope on it to get 300-plus yards from the president,
20:03probably closer by the time he took the shot, and it was after Butler where somebody got
20:09on a roof 130 yards from the president.
20:12Now, anyone with marginal shooting skill, that's the equivalent of a tap-and-putt, Governor.
20:18Yeah, no question about it.
20:21Clearly, Butler, that roof was a prime location for somebody that wanted to pull off an attack,
20:29and they left it vacant, and we know what happened as a result of that.
20:34And then on the golf course, I remember the security when Donald Trump was president was
20:39obviously very significant, and when you're playing on that course, there's dogs sniffing
20:45holes ahead, behind you, you name it.
20:48It's a massive undertaking, and when you're doing that, I remember thinking being on the
20:53fifth green or on playing the sixth hole, I'm like, man, you have all this security,
20:57but yet there's a very busy street literally like 10 yards behind you when you're there.
21:03I was like, that is something, and I thought to myself at the time, I'm like, well, obviously,
21:07they probably have some people that are scoping out on that street and whatnot, because literally
21:12someone could just pull over their car, hop out, and then they're right there in the hedges.
21:16So I remember thinking that back then when he had the full presidential armada of security.
21:22So in a situation like this, coming two months after Butler, man, that's got to be the place
21:28that you would think could potentially pose some risk.
21:32And so, yeah, we need answers to that.
21:34We also need to know more about this guy, Ryan Routh.
21:37I mean, he's got a very eclectic background.
21:40He's been in and out of trouble with the law.
21:43Whose radar was he on?
21:44Now, he's not a Florida resident.
21:46He's a North Carolinian, but he ends up in the state of Florida.
21:50So our folks here deserve answers to these questions, and the American people writ large
21:54deserve answers to these questions.
21:57I am sorry, but not sweeping that area is unforgivable to me, and heads need to roll.
22:03And then the Secret Service patting themselves on the back, the interim head, and praising
22:08Mayorkas, you know, made me want to vomit.
22:10I just find that on every level unacceptable.
22:14However, I applaud everybody else in law enforcement.
22:18They all did their job.
22:19But this is a security failure of, you know, just monumental proportions.
22:25Governor, great to have you.
22:27And by the way, I'm sorry you're stuck with me now.
22:29I'm a full-time resident in your state, and I'm sure that that is causing you embarrassment
22:33at times.
22:34I apologize for that.
22:37But I don't miss New York.
22:38Anyway, when we come back to Federal Reserve, conveniently, oh, with just a couple of months
22:43to go before the election, yeah, let's cut interest rates today.
22:47But we have a new detail revealing how much worse the economy would be under Kamala's
22:52leadership.
22:53We'll explain that.
22:54Steve Moore, David Astman, they'll react to that straight ahead.
22:57All right, earlier today, the Fed announced a rate cut of half point, the first cut in
23:04four years.
23:06Oh, let's see, only a month and a half before the election.
23:08How convenient.
23:09Meanwhile, according to a new study, Kamala's plan to raise the corporate tax rate to expand
23:15the child tax credit, it would hurt the economy, it would reduce wages, investment, employment.
23:21When pressed on her plans to fix the current economic disaster that she helped cause, the
23:27high-risk Biden administration, Kamala offers little more than memorized platitudes, which
23:33she repeats again and again and again.
23:38Take a look.
23:39So I was raised as a middle class kid.
23:42I grew up a middle class kid.
23:44I grew up a middle class kid.
23:45I believe in the ambition, the aspirations, the dreams of the American people.
23:50You know, we have ambitions and aspirations and dreams.
23:55The ambition, the aspiration, the dream.
23:57I started my career as a prosecutor.
24:00I was a career prosecutor for most of my career.
24:03Having a background as a prosecutor.
24:05I intend to create an opportunity economy.
24:09Developing and creating an opportunity economy.
24:12What I imagine and believe and call an opportunity economy.
24:18Add this to her plan to institute the largest tax increase in American history and world
24:24history.
24:25Her $93 trillion Green New Deal, well, we will have an unprecedented economic disaster
24:30on our hands.
24:31Oh, and include taxes on unrealized capital gains.
24:35Here with Reaction co-founder of the Committee to Unleash Prosperity, Steve Moore, Fox Business
24:40anchor, David Asman.
24:42Steve, start with you.
24:43Doesn't Jerome Powell often talk about the independence of the Federal Reserve and how
24:49convenient for the first time in four years, just before, weeks before an election, just
24:55as early voting begins in Pennsylvania now and around the country.
25:00Let's drop interest rates and give people the impression that everything's better.
25:04I want interest rates to come down.
25:06I want a better economy.
25:07I don't want Americans suffering because every store they go to, they're paying higher prices,
25:14you know, than they have paid, about $12,000 on average than what they were paying four
25:18years ago.
25:20But I don't believe we're at that point yet, in my opinion.
25:23What's yours?
25:25Yeah, I think that the chairman of the Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, and those 300 Ph.D.
25:31economists they have over there in that empire at the Fed, maybe they should just go to the
25:36grocery store.
25:37Maybe they should go to the gas pumps and go shopping and see what real Americans are
25:42facing in terms of these higher prices, because Americans are really feeling financially squeezed
25:48by that.
25:49Now, look, to be fair, I was in favor of a quarter percentage point reduction in the
25:54interest rates because I do think the economy is weakening under Biden, once again.
26:00But to do this, a 50 basis point reduction is putting the pedal to the metal.
26:06And you're so right, Sean, to do this, what, what are we, 50 days from the election?
26:11They've waited four years to do this.
26:13Now on the eve of the election, they're going to pour.
26:1647.
26:17How many?
26:1846.
26:1947 days.
26:2047, yeah.
26:21I think the Fed has, I think the Fed has gotten a lot of egg in their face today.
26:24I think a lot of Americans feel like the Fed has politically interfered with this election.
26:30I think Trump said something to that effect.
26:33And so, and you're right.
26:35Jerome Powell has said so many times, oh, we have to protect the, the, the Fed from
26:41political interference.
26:43But I'm here to tell you, I think this looks like a political interference on, on the part
26:47of the Fed to help Kamala Harris over the goal line.
26:51David Asman, your take.
26:53Well, Steve is very diplomatic, I must say.
26:57I think it's, it's a clear case of this guy putting his, his, his finger on, on the scale.
27:02I mean, that's what, that's what's happening.
27:04He could have waited until November.
27:05If as, as Steve was saying, he's waited this long, he couldn't wait a month until the election
27:10is over to do this.
27:12And just to be clear, a half a point reduction in, in the Fed rate is something you only
27:19do at real emergency times, like in, in 2009 with a financial crisis, in 2001 when we had
27:26another financial crisis right before 9-11, and, and of course in, very recently with
27:32the pandemic.
27:33That's, that's the only kind of time that you see a half a point rate cut.
27:38What the hell is going on?
27:39He says, no, the economy is doing fine.
27:41Well, if the economy is doing fine, you don't need a half a point rate cut.
27:45The other thing that's happening is one point at which I, he's, he's, he's got to have some
27:50worry.
27:51And remember the market initially took off after the rate cut because market, marketeers
27:55usually love it when the rates go down, it makes their job easier, their costs go down.
28:00But the market ended down because there are real concerns about what's happening with
28:05unemployment and when we're, whether we're going into a recession.
28:09We had a 24,000 loss of jobs in the manufacturing sector.
28:14They're always bragging about the manufacturing sector, 24,000 jobs were lost in August.
28:19The other things that was lost in August, by the way, is our money.
28:23We had a $380 billion deficit in the month of August, and yet the, the government only
28:30took in $300 billion.
28:32That means they're spending twice as much money as what's coming in on all of their
28:37gifts to get reelected or to get elected in the case of Kamala Harris.
28:41I mean that there is a, an incredible amount of spending that is going to cause inflation,
28:46particularly now as Jerome Powell has lowered rates.
28:50So not only is he putting a finger on the scale, but he is, he is helping the worst
28:55kind of economic behavior get even worse and we're all going to suffer from it with bad
29:01inflation.
29:02Whoever's the next president is going to have to do a lot of work to straighten this economy
29:05out because Jerome Powell just made it a lot worse.
29:09Exit question.
29:11Will this cause or likely, is it likely to cause a recession?
29:14Steve Moore.
29:16Well, I think the economy is, is in real trouble right now and David nailed it.
29:22You know, the, the solution to our economic problems, which are manifold, and we've talked
29:26about this so much on this show, Sean, the solution, you're not going to solve this problem
29:30by printing money.
29:31Come on.
29:32We got to cut tax rates.
29:34We got to get that debt down.
29:36We got to find a trillion dollars of savings in the budget, but pouring more cheap money
29:40in the economy is like putting kerosene on a forest fire.
29:44Yeah.
29:45Can I just say one more thing?
29:47The one thing that will do a lot of, the one thing that'll do a lot of help for the economy
29:51is no taxes on overtime pay.
29:54That would do a lot of help for the economy.
29:56Pro growth.
29:57I like it.
29:58I like that too.
29:59And no tax on Trumps.
30:00I like that too.
30:01No taxes on social security.
30:03I like that too.
30:04Those are all Trump ideas.
30:06But if we cut taxes, stimulate the economy, increase revenues, and then you've got to
30:11control spending and that this is where maybe the penny plan or main may need to be the
30:17nickel line at this point would be effective.
30:19Elon Musk.
30:20That's his job.
30:21Well, all right.
30:22David has trillion dollar tax increase would destroy the economy.
30:26I'm going to hear to tell you that a $5 trillion don't forget the $93 trillion green new deal.
30:32She would eliminate the filibuster for that beauty.
30:34All right.
30:35Thank you all.
30:36When we come back, progressives reportedly hoping Kamala Harris's board of flip-flopping.
30:41It's only a phase.
30:42She doesn't really mean it.
30:43Laura Trump, Morgan Ortegas.
30:45They went to the border yesterday.
30:47We have video.
30:48They'll join us next.
30:51Harris has a long history of radicalism when it comes to open borders.
30:55But of course, she recently started to pretend that she's actually going to be tough on immigration.
31:00So the question, it's now pretty simple.
31:02If she's suddenly faking her sudden election year conversion now, far left progressive
31:08immigration organizations, they seem to think so.
31:11And according to a new report, they are counting on Harris returning to our open borders radicalism.
31:17The second she takes office, by the way, can you blame them?
31:20Just take a look at her record.
31:22According to a new report from the House Homeland Security Committee, the Biden Harris administration
31:27is now set to preside over a whopping 11.6 million illegal immigrant encounters at the
31:34southern border during their term, not counting gotaways who fled before they could be counted.
31:40Anyway, you hear more with their exclusive reaction fresh off their own trip to the border.
31:46RNC co-chair Laura Trump and the host of The Morgan Ortegas Show, Morgan Ortegas, Laura,
31:51we start with you.
31:52Look, 180 countries, some of our top geopolitical foes, countries with terror ties, known terrorists
32:01in the country.
32:02We have dozens of Americans raped, murdered, victims of violent crime, and it's costing
32:07the American people billions of dollars.
32:10The biggest national security risk ever, all self-inflicted.
32:14Why isn't it a bigger issue?
32:15And what did you see at the border yesterday?
32:17Well, it is a big issue.
32:19It's probably the number two issue, I think, for people in this country right behind this
32:23abysmal economy that Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have given us.
32:26And I'll tell you, I learned a lot on this trip.
32:29I want to thank Morgan and Polaris for having me down there and taking me on this trip.
32:33I learned so much, Sean, the number of 30% that people often hear when you hear about
32:38women coming through the southern border being sexually assaulted, it's actually much higher
32:43than that, according to people on the ground, more like 50 or 50 plus percent of women sexually
32:48assaulted.
32:49I learned a term, recycled child.
32:51That's a child that the Border Patrol sees four, five, six, maybe even seven times, the
32:56same child coming over the border with different military-aged men so that those men can get
33:02into our country illegally.
33:04I learned that on every third late poll, Donald Trump, when he was president, made sure that
33:09these high-tech cameras were installed.
33:11Kamala Harris, the borders are, will not turn them on, so the Border Patrol have to put
33:16in trail cameras, Sean, like hunters would use, and maybe the most egregious and probably
33:21most insulting to the American people, the sections of the border that are open where
33:26the wall ends, right beside it, feet away, are the actual parts of the wall that just
33:32need to be stood up.
33:34But Kamala Harris will not do it.
33:37We have a tragedy going on in this country.
33:40It is an invasion.
33:41And I'll tell you one thing.
33:42The people down in Yuma, Arizona, the police, the Border Patrol, the hospitals, the schools
33:48are begging to get Donald Trump back in the White House because he did secure the border.
33:53Walls work.
33:54I saw it with my own eyes.
33:56And what they have allowed to happen to this country in three and a half years is a tragedy.
34:02Let me ask you, Morgan, you know, don't you think if most Americans knew that she wanted
34:07to decriminalize the illegal immigration, if most, the numbers would be around 15 million
34:12unvetted Harris-Biden illegals in the country, and decriminalizing it, free housing, health
34:20care, education, amnesty, sex change operations, don't you think if they really understood
34:27that, if the media would report it, that there probably is a very tiny percentage of the
34:32American people that would actually vote for her?
34:35And the media, being corrupt as they are, don't want to report this?
34:42They definitely don't want to report it.
34:43She wasn't called on.
34:44And in fact, when you talk about the fact that she is supposed to be, the borders are,
34:48reporters, mainstream media, legacy reporters, the first one to say, well, wait, wait, wait.
34:53She wasn't the borders are.
34:54She was just trying to get to the root causes.
34:55Listen, if you want to get to the root causes, go down with me as Lara did on many trips
35:01to Yuma, Arizona.
35:02And you can talk to people on the ground throughout this country who are affected by this crisis.
35:07You know, Lara just brought up some really great big takeaways from our border trip.
35:11The one thing that I'm reminded of that I don't think Americans realize and that we
35:15have to educate them on, Sean, is we simply do not have operational control over our border.
35:22When you go down to the border, you see how the cartels know exactly where to bring people
35:27on an airplane.
35:28Then they put them on the bus.
35:30And they know exactly where to drop them off so that they can be picked up by border patrol.
35:34It's all very formulaic.
35:36Everybody has nice sneakers on, good looking clothes.
35:39They look clean, doesn't look like it was a hard trip.
35:41Obviously, it's different in every scenario.
35:44But certainly that's what you're seeing in Yuma.
35:46You realize that we don't have operational control over our southern border.
35:50The cartels do.
35:52And what the Biden-Harris administration is effectively doing is they are turning Mexico
35:56into a failed state.
35:58They are turning it into a narco state.
36:00They are making these cartels billions and billions of dollars richer through their failed
36:05border policies.
36:07And therefore, the police, the politicians, the judges, civil society in Mexico is losing
36:13to the cartels because we are enriching them and we are putting a failed state on our border
36:18through these heinous policies.
36:20It really is scary.
36:24This obviously is issue number two, as you rightly point out, but I wish people knew
36:29more.
36:30I'll give you the last word.
36:31Yeah, this is exactly why we need Donald Trump back in the White House.
36:35We want a secure southern border.
36:37You don't have a country if you don't have a border.
36:40And I'll tell you, to see it with my own eyes, as Morgan and I did yesterday in the middle
36:45of the night, was something I'll never forget.
36:48And I wish Kamala Harris would go and take that trip.
36:52But I don't think we'll hold our breath on that.
36:54All right.
36:55We appreciate both of you.
36:56Thank you, Laura.
36:57Thank you, Morgan Ortega.
36:58When we come back, the speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, will join us to discuss the
37:03next steps to get a spending bill passed as a government shutdown looms yet once again.
37:08Straight ahead.
