00:00Welcome to Hannity, and in just a moment, the 45th president of the United States, Donald
00:06Trump, will join us now, just two days after a second assassination attempt in less than
00:12two months.
00:13Plus, we have the lowlights from a Kamala Harris rare appearance without a teleprompter
00:17today.
00:19And despite friendly questions from the National Association of Black Journalists, the vice
00:24president, well, she still struggled to give a single straight answer.
00:27Take a look.
00:28Well, anyway, we'll have a lot more on that coming up in a minute.
00:32I don't know where the where the sot was anyway.
00:35But first, our top story tonight, the leadership at the FBI and the DHS.
00:39They are patting each other on the back for protecting Donald Trump, but they completely
00:43dropped the ball yet again.
00:44Now, let me be clear.
00:46The Secret Service agents around the president on Sunday, they were heroic.
00:51They were amazing, beyond professional.
00:55They deserve our appreciation.
00:56They all risked their lives for Donald Trump.
00:59They acted within seconds.
01:01Incredible job.
01:02Well done.
01:03Amazing training.
01:04It couldn't have been that part could not have gone more perfectly.
01:08And Donald Trump would likely be dead right now, if not for one eagle eyed Secret Service
01:13agent who spotted the barrel of a gun in the tree line where Trump was playing golf.
01:19This is a known area that is very dangerous in terms of it is the most vulnerable position
01:26on the golf course where a lot of paparazzi hide in those bushes to take pictures and
01:30videos of Donald Trump.
01:32But it is less than about 300 yards to where Donald Trump was about to be.
01:38Now, the threats against Donald Trump, they are very real.
01:41The lack of urgency, the lack of accountability at the DHS and frankly, the entire Biden Harris
01:47administration is beyond appalling.
01:49Make no mistake, Donald Trump has a huge base of devoted supporters.
01:53Now, there are Americans who would walk over hot coals to vote for him and they will.
01:59But there are also people who hate the former president with a passion which has now made
02:04him obviously the number one target in terms of assassination in our country.
02:10You have a lot.
02:11He has a lot of enemies.
02:12The Democratic Party, state run media mob, the deep state government officials.
02:17Trump derangement syndrome is very real.
02:20They have demonized him.
02:21They have besmirched him.
02:23They have smeared him.
02:24They have slandered him.
02:25They have created a caricature of him.
02:27In less than a decade, Donald Trump has gone from a billionaire celebrity beloved by Democrats
02:31in the media to a Republican.
02:34These same people now referred to constantly as a threat to democracy because Donald Trump's
02:40politics and rhetoric did not align with this Democratic machine.
02:45And many on the left have done nothing but vilify him and even at times glorified violence
02:50against him.
02:51Take a look.
02:53That man cannot see public office again.
02:57He is not only unfit, he is destructive to our democracy and he has to be eliminated.
03:05The donor class can't just sit back on the sidelines and say, oh, well, don't worry,
03:09this will all work itself out.
03:11They're still going to have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump.
03:13And that's a fact.
03:14Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.
03:20When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?
03:24I want to clarify, I'm not an actor.
03:27I lie for a living.
03:31However, it's been a while.
03:36And maybe it's time.
03:37How dare he say the things he does?
03:39Of course I want to punch him in the face.
03:43Press always asks me, don't I wish I were debating him?
03:46No, I wish you were in high school.
03:47I could take him behind the gym.
03:50And with this kind of inspiration, I will go and take Trump out tonight.
03:57Can you imagine any conservative said anything similar about any Democrat?
04:02Now, even Trump's 2020 opponent once joked about killing the former president.
04:06You might recall.
04:07And it's not funny.
04:09If you had to be stuck in an elevator with either President Trump, Mike Pence or Jeff
04:13Sessions, who would it be?
04:17Does one of us have to come out alive?
04:26Now, for years, Donald Trump, his family, his supporters have been vilified, dehumanized,
04:31falsely.
04:32They create this ridiculous caricature of him that remains in the minds of too many
04:38people.
04:39But despite despite nonstop hysteria, let's see the Russia hoax, the Mueller witch hunt,
04:44the two bogus impeachment, Hillary Clinton's dirty Russian disinformation dossier, a weaponized
04:51DOJ, they cannot erase a simple fact.
04:55And that is that Donald Trump's presidency was marked by sound policies and stability.
05:01And you are not better off four years with having had Kamala Harris and Joe Biden in
05:07office.
05:08Back when Trump was president, the economy was strong.
05:10It was rebounding well from Covid.
05:12The world was a far more peaceful place.
05:15Gas was cheap.
05:16Productivity was high.
05:18He set record after record low unemployment for every demographic in the country.
05:23Our borders, they were secure.
05:25Trump did not cause a world war or become a dictator.
05:28He upheld the US Constitution.
05:30He worked within three branches of government to implement his agenda.
05:34Democrats, the mob, the media.
05:36Well, they lie repeatedly and say Donald Trump is a threat to democracy.
05:41What do people think when they hear this?
05:44You decide.
05:45Watch what happens.
05:47It's a danger.
05:48He's a genuine danger to American security.
05:51You know, Donald Trump presents a challenge and a threat fundamentally to the Republic.
05:57Donald Trump is an existential threat to our democracy and our most fundamental freedoms.
06:02Don't give them the power.
06:03Look, are they a threat to democracy?
06:05Yes.
06:06Are they going to take our rights away?
06:07Yes.
06:08Don't pretend that Donald Trump isn't exactly like Mussolini, exactly like Hitler.
06:12He is that guy.
06:13Donald Trump presents an existential threat to democracy.
06:17He has advertised he is going to transition this country from a democracy to a dictatorship.
06:22He is paving the way to become a Vladimir Putin or to become an Adolf Hitler or a Kim Jong Un.
06:29That's what he wants to be.
06:32We have to defeat a person who is a threat to our democracy of the kind that we have not seen.
06:40Adolf Hitler, Vladimir Putin.
06:43Now, two psychotic Democrats took that rhetoric to heart and now tried to murder Donald Trump.
06:49And yet the White House continues to fan the flames, according to Colleen Jean-Pierre.
06:54The real danger is coming from anyone who attempts to question their radical and extreme rhetoric.
07:00Take a look at this.
07:02How many more assassination attempts on Donald Trump until the president and the vice president and you
07:08pick a different word to describe Trump other than threat?
07:14Peter, if anything from this administration, I actually completely disagree with the premise of your question.
07:23The question that you're asking, it is also incredibly dangerous in the way that you're asking it.
07:30Because American people are watching.
07:34A lot of people listening to just to recap, Democrats told everyone Trump was evil.
07:39The next coming of Hitler plotting to end American democracy.
07:43People make direct threats about blowing up the White House, assassinating Donald Trump.
07:47Nothing happens to them.
07:49Two people then try to assassinate Donald Trump while he's running for reelection.
07:53The White House thinks it's dangerous for anyone to ask about the extreme rhetoric coming from their side.
07:59Of course, Democrats are not going to make any effort to bring down the temperature.
08:04Just one day after Trump was almost killed, Hillary Clinton.
08:07She goes on MSDNC and told the network's top conspiracy theorists and their viewers that Trump is a danger to the country and the entire world.
08:18The day after he got shot or attempted, a guy attempted to kill him.
08:22He had a wannabe assassin in the bushes.
08:25And thankfully, he was stopped one day after.
08:28Take a look.
08:30Journalists should, you know, really try to achieve objectivity.
08:34And by that, he said, I mean, they should cover the object.
08:38Well, the object in this case is Donald Trump, his demagoguery, his danger to our country and the world.
08:46And stick with it.
08:51I'd actually like Hillary to explain how she, you know, had funds that she funneled through a law firm to an op research firm to a former MI6 agent and got Russian disinformation that was used for four FISA warrants.
09:07I don't know. You know, curious people would like to know.
09:10I'd like to know how Hillary Clinton deleted 33000 subpoenaed emails, wasn't held accountable for that or had top secret classified information on our servers.
09:19I'd like to know all that, too.
09:21Hillary Clinton so deeply worried about the spread of misinformation.
09:24Well, she now wants Americans to be thrown in jail for posting so-called misinformation online.
09:30Take a look.
09:32I think it's important to indict the Russians, just as Mueller indicted a lot of Russians who were engaged in direct election interference and boosting Trump back in 2016.
09:46But I also think there are Americans who are engaged in this kind of propaganda.
09:54And whether they should be civilly or even in some cases criminally charged is something that would be a better deterrence.
10:04And, of course, with the DOJ, the weaponized DOJ of Harris and Biden, they think if you talk about inflation, you could be spreading Russian disinformation, even though it's completely true.
10:16Never forget Hillary Clinton.
10:17Her campaign funneled that money through that law firm to hire an ex foreign spy that put together the dirty Russian disinformation dossier, which has been completely debunked.
10:28Although it was then used by James Comey and others to get four FISA warrants to backdoor spy on Donald Trump, the candidate, the president and she and all of her co-conspirators and all of those who peddled their lives were never held accountable.
10:43This is the very definition of election interference.
10:46Hillary, her campaign, were even forced to pay a huge fine for lying about the dossier, calling it a legal expense.
10:54If she lived in New York and they actually had equal justice under the law, she would have been tried for that.
11:00Hillary Clinton, frankly, the queen herself of misinformation.
11:04And so, of course, she appears on the show's country on this country's, you know, number one conspiracy theorist show on MSDNC and spreads more propaganda and lies.
11:14Now, of course, most Democrats, they don't really care about misinformation or democracy or divisive rhetoric.
11:21They use it all the time.
11:22Now, these are merely tools that they use to gain and hold on to power.
11:26It's a means to an end.
11:28And, of course, when something bad happens, like an assassination attempt against Trump, then they just blame Donald Trump.
11:35I can't make this up.
11:36Take a look.
11:37Just the fact that right now you have a former president who, yes, has been the target of apparent assassinations twice, but is also an instigator of political violence.
11:48So, you know, you can't you don't get to be a very big part of the problem and then pretend that it's just the other people on the other side who caused this.
11:58I mean, the irony of it is that the violence, the actual violence we're seeing comes much more disproportionately from MAGA themselves.
12:05Do you expect to hear anything from the Trump campaign about toning down the rhetoric, toning down the violence?
12:12Or would that be atypical of the former president?
12:15You hear this this fight, fight, fight chant, which you heard Trump do right after the shooting in Butler.
12:22You've seen you. We saw that once again on Truth Social.
12:27That does scare me a little bit.
12:30All right. Joining us now with more news breaking on this editor in chief, founder and investigative reporter, John Solomon and House Judiciary Committee chairman Jim Jordan.
12:40John, let's start with you in the news.
12:42You have to serve today. Yeah.
12:45Listen, when Ryan Ruth came back from Ukraine after he was recruiting foreign fighters to go to Ukraine and possibly join the war there, he came back to the United States.
12:55The Customs Border Protection Agency stopped him as he was returning to Honolulu, Hawaii.
12:59And there he made several spontaneous comments that caused him to interview him more deeply.
13:05They learned that he was trying to recruit people in Afghanistan, in Syria.
13:09He had contacts with several foreign countries.
13:11They were very concerned about what he was telling them.
13:14He revealed who was funding his foreign exploits.
13:17He claimed a woman that he identified as his wife was funding these operations for him.
13:21They referred him to the Homeland Security Investigation Unit.
13:24That is basically the FBI, the Homeland Security Department.
13:27And HSI declined to further investigate him.
13:30This marks the fourth time between 2019 and this Sunday where federal agencies got a warning about Ryan Ruth.
13:38It started in 2019 with a warning to the FBI that he might be in possessions of weapons as a convicted felon, a man who once had a weapon of mass destruction in his possession.
13:48Then in 2022 and 2023, an American nurse twice contacted federal law enforcement saying she was very concerned about the behavior she saw of Ryan Ruth when he was in Ukraine.
13:59She was there volunteering, trying to help people who were wounded in the war.
14:02And then the Custom Borders Protection, Homeland's own agency, flags this man saying he needs to be further investigated based on what he told us at the entry border back into the United States.
14:13And the federal agencies, a fourth time, declined to really look at this guy and maybe put him on a different course than what we saw on Sunday when he was trying to shoot President Trump.
14:23Jim Jordan, let's talk about not only the rhetoric of the left, but the constant demonization and the caricature that they painted of Donald Trump.
14:33And even going as far as to say he's Adolf Hitler, democracy in peril.
14:37You just heard Hillary Clinton. And and the day after an assassination attempt, they're actually blaming him for the fact that that somebody wanted to take a shot at him.
14:48Another would be assassin. That was within 300 yards of him.
14:52Yeah. A crazy guy on the left attempts to assassinate President Trump and the left blames President Trump.
14:59You can't make this up. But the left has a template. The left will tell a lie.
15:03They'll say, oh, President Trump's this, this and this. And they'll use all these crazy words.
15:06Big media reports the lie. Big tech amplifies the lie.
15:09And then when you tell the truth, they attack you. They call us racist or some other crazy name.
15:14That's their template. And by the time we prove it, that you know what we say is true, they're already on to the next lie.
15:20But what what strikes me that's so amazing about this whole thing is President Trump's response.
15:25I talked to him Sunday after this ordeal. He was as determined as ever to win this election.
15:32Get back to the White House and put America back on the path we deserve to be on.
15:36I mean, in light of what he's been through, spying on his campaign, Hillary Clinton, you had her on spying on his campaign.
15:42Then it was the Mueller investigation. Then impeachment. Then they raid his home.
15:45Four indictments, 14th Amendment, every gag order, everything.
15:49And then two assassination attempts, everything they've done to him.
15:52And yet he is fighting the good fight because he loves this country.
15:57And I think that message is getting through. Well, let me ask you this to the voters across this country.
16:04Did Kamala Harris, after the burning down of the police precinct in Minneapolis four days later,
16:10when she tweeted out a bail fund to help get those people involved in this out of jail,
16:15was she supporting rioting and insurrection?
16:18Was she supporting rioting and insurrection when she went on with Colbert and said the rioters are not going to stop?
16:25They shouldn't stop. And we're not going to stop.
16:28Was she ever held accountable for supporting rioting and insurrection?
16:32Liz Cheney or anybody investigate the 574 riots she was offering aid and comfort to?
16:39Now, of course, of course not, because they defined it as peaceful protest.
16:43Again, the left tells the lie. The media reported it as that.
16:47He amplified it and censored it. That's what they call a peaceful protest.
16:50So, yeah, that was all part of another example of the left lying to us.
16:54Of course, he wasn't held accountable for that.
16:57Yeah. Two dozen dead Americans, 574 riots, thousands of injured cops.
17:03It was bricks, rocks, bottles, Molotov cocktails and billions in property damage.
17:08And her running mate opening up the windows to his home so he can smell burning rubber rather than call on the National Guard.
17:14That's peaceful. I just don't understand the definition of the term, apparently.
17:19Thank you both. When we come back, former President Donald Trump,
17:22he will join us for an exclusive interview and talk about now the second assassination attempt in two months on his life.
17:29He's next. Straight ahead.
17:32All right. Joining us now on the phone to react to the most recent assassination attempt on his life.
17:37Two in two months. Former President Donald Trump. Mr. President, thank you for being with us tonight.
17:43This is the second assassination attempt in two months.
17:46I, I, I would imagine the average person could be pretty shaken up by that.
17:51Tell us what happened. How are you doing?
17:54And we have I have a few other follow up questions as it relates to this.
18:00Well, I'm doing fine. It was Sunday. And just very briefly, because I think most people have heard it.
18:07I want to start talking about the borders and the economy and inflation and all of the things we want to talk about.
18:12But it was on a golf course, Trump International in West Palm.
18:18And we heard shots ring out around the fifth hole or so.
18:22And we heard shots ring out and they were pretty obviously shots.
18:26But the Secret Service said they were definitely shots.
18:31And it turned out to be the Secret Service agent who had caught somebody a couple of holes in advance and caught him by the fence, which protects the property.
18:42He was on the other side of the fence. He saw a gun barrel hanging outside of the fence, which is pretty amazing.
18:49That's a great job. Did really a great job. Frankly, I think the Secret Service did a great job and they got me out of there quickly.
18:57And they then went after him and they were lucky enough to have somebody that took the license plate, which was genius.
19:03And they nabbed him on the highway. But it was it was another day. It was very interesting.
19:10I want to get we want to get to business. We want to get to the business of running the country.
19:14Our country has never done this badly, Sean. We're like a laughing stock.
19:18I know the world that we have to get back to running the border properly.
19:22What's happening in Ohio, Colorado and every other state is just crazy.
19:27It's like a takeover of our country by people that are coming in and they're coming in with guns or they're getting guns after they get in.
19:34They have the most powerful weapons you can have. Let me ask you this, sir, if you don't mind.
19:40And Steve would call off your golf partner. He happens to be a mutual friend of ours.
19:44And I'd gone to lunch with him that morning. He described in great specificity the incredible reaction time,
19:51heroism of the Secret Service agents that were surrounding you that day and how quickly they got on top of you, got you out of the situation.
20:02A flawless operation in terms of of those agents.
20:06And they they deserve so much credit for what they do that they would risk their lives.
20:10No greater love had some man to lay down their life for another for you.
20:15And that part of the story, I, I, I am.
20:19I'm I mean, the fact that you have that this country has such incredible people is a great story.
20:25But here's what troubles me. In Butler, P.A., we had a sniper who was able to get on a roof within one hundred and thirty yards and and come within a millimeter of taking your life.
20:36In this situation, it is a well-known area that is treed, as you pointed out, with a fence on it.
20:43And this guy, according to reports, might have been there for twelve hours or this phone pinged in the area for twelve, twelve hours ahead of time, one thirty in the morning.
20:54And so obviously there's some type of coordinated planned attack or anticipation you'd be playing golf or something happened.
21:01But the problem is, is he got within three hundred yards of you with an AK-47 with a scope.
21:07Now, what I don't understand and Eric, your son doesn't understand and Laura doesn't understand and many of your family members don't understand is when you have a treed area that is known for paparazzi taking videos and pictures of you.
21:22When you're playing golf, because that's the only area in the golf course they would ever have the ability to do that.
21:28Why wasn't that area swept? Why weren't there agents on the outside making sure nobody would go in the bushes?
21:36Why weren't the bushes checked? To me, that is a colossal failure.
21:41And that concerns not just me, but every one of your supporters and every one of your family members, sir.
21:49Well, I understand that. And in this particular case, you had a very sharp agent as good as you can find and did a fantastic job.
21:57But somebody could have missed the barrel of that rifle.
22:00And somebody of lesser talents or somebody that was distracted could have missed or could have been shot.
22:07I mean, frankly, you know, could have also been shot.
22:11But in this case, it was something that worked out very well as to whether or not they should know this two days in advance.
22:18You know, I can't say I just said, let's let's go play a quick round because it's all business for me.
22:25It's very it's my only little bit of a form of exercise.
22:29So I like it. It's something that is good.
22:33But it's it's also shown very important that, you know, you'd be able to go and do what you want in safety.
22:41I just find the secret serious that Butler is a very different story.
22:44You know, somebody should have been on that building. And that's a different story.
22:48But they also showed great. They were very brave because when those bullets were flying, they were they were.
22:54They were diving on you. But they were literally.
22:59But don't you think a treed area leading into a fence three hundred plus yards away from you,
23:06that area as a matter of standard operating procedure would need to be swept and we would need to have eyes on it to make sure that nobody,
23:15be a paparazzi or in this case, a would be assassin has access to being close to you with an AK-47 with a scope.
23:24Your sons can tell you because they're both excellent marksmen.
23:27But Don Jr. and Eric, that that is that is the equivalent of a one foot putt if you want to use a golf analogy.
23:35And so we have two incidents in two months where where people with rifles and scopes get within one hundred and thirty and three hundred plus yards of you,
23:46which would be an easy shot for even a marginal shooter. And that to me.
23:52And we heard the head of the Secret Service, you know, praising his organization and saying this is a great success.
23:59The fact that they didn't cover that area to me is a great failure.
24:02And I understand your reluctance to be critical, but I'm very critical of it.
24:07And I just feel like, you know, there's got to be an evaluation here immediately.
24:13Have you as your campaign ever been denied resources that you requested from the Secret Service?
24:19Well, that's the big thing. We have long requested more people, more men and women, but more people.
24:26And because, you know, we have rallies, 50, 60,000 in New Jersey, we had one hundred and seven thousand people show up.
24:32There's never been anything like it. And and we have long requested more people.
24:37That's true. That's the weakness. If if there's a weakness, I really think that's the weakness.
24:41You still need the the power of the people.
24:45We have to you know, you could say the manpower and the woman power to get in there and look, we don't have or we haven't had.
24:53Now, I understand they're going to be doing this, but you could have somebody who's a president who doesn't have a lot of people watching.
25:00And it's a lot easier. And, you know, it's a lot easier situation than it is for me.
25:04We have tremendous rallies and crowds. And that's a good thing.
25:09But you need more protection. And we've long requested more people.
25:13We have I will say in Butler, we wanted more people. I heard them say it.
25:18You know, we need more people here for security. And we never seem to get that.
25:23And I think we are getting it now. Somebody told me that they will be providing more people now.
25:29Well, I would think now that maybe we can learn the lessons from it.
25:33And when I heard the head of the Secret Service saying that this almost was a perfect operation, I'm not buying that.
25:41And then praising Alejandro Mayorkas, who has been partly responsible, along with Kamala Harris and Joe Biden,
25:48allowing in unvetted 11 million plus illegal immigrants from 180 countries, including countries with terror ties,
25:56allowing people with terror ties, known terror ties in the country.
26:00We've seen the crimes they've committed, murder, rape and violent crimes against our citizens.
26:07To me, it is it's unconscionable because all of that is preventable and it should be.
26:13You know, now that voting is starting in Pennsylvania, people need to know and understand all of this.
26:18But I think we have a major security failure going around.
26:22And you seem to be the number one target for assassination in this country.
26:27And as your as your son said last night, how many lives do you have left?
26:33You know, Kat has nine lives. How many lives does Donald Trump have left?
26:37And it's scary for people that care about you.
26:40Well, I never thought of it that way. It's an interesting way of thinking about it.
26:44I will say this. What you said on the border is right.
26:46You know, we have the safest border in the history of our country.
26:50When I left office, we had the safest border.
26:53In fact, the famous chart that I was turning right, fortunately, to look at showed the lowest.
26:58That was made up by the Border Patrol. And it was the best number in terms of drugs, in terms of people, meaning the fewest people we had.
27:07We had it down to an absolute science. And then it became a rocket ship right after that.
27:12And it was a shame. But the we had a great border situation was only going to get better.
27:18But we had it down to a real, real size. We had to remain in Mexico.
27:22We had all sorts of things. People couldn't come into our country until they got past.
27:26They'd have to go through really rigorous tests. And it was it was a great thing.
27:31And now it's truly one of the great problems, one of the big problems.
27:35No country has been invaded like we've been invaded.
27:39If you look at what's going on in Ohio and Colorado and so many states and a lot of states that don't want to talk about it yet because they're embarrassed by it.
27:48But they're being invaded by people from jails and by by gang members.
27:53And we have people coming in from mental institutions and we have terrorists coming in at a level that we've never seen before.
28:00It's crazy. It makes no sense whatsoever why they aren't closing the border.
28:05They can do it with a phone call. You close the border. The president has to close.
28:11I agree completely. I've talked about it at length.
28:14And let's not give free housing, health care, education, sex change, surgery and amnesty to those illegal immigrants, which Kamala Harris has stated she wants in her own words.
28:26I know for your you know, for those of us that know you and have known you for many years, we're we're we're prayerful.
28:32We're glad you're safe. If the Harris Biden administration has not given you and your campaign the resources they need to.
28:40They didn't get give RFK Jr. the resources they he needed.
28:45This this needs to stop and they need a complete reevaluation in the next 48 hours.
28:50So this can never happen again. We are glad you're safe, Mr. President.
28:54And thank you for being with us. Thank you very much. Thank you, Sean.
29:00All right. Then coming up, Kamala Harris's media strategy now been revealed.
29:04It was on full display in Philadelphia today. We'll show you highlights.
