00:36Snacks not included. Let's freakin go
00:57Oh
01:10Take your thumb out of your mouth boy
01:14You know Wilson I'd give anything I possess have a crack at the enemy yes
01:19I'm feel so helpless our boys knocking Jerry for six out there, and here are we stuck in the pavilion
01:27I
01:29Have to patrol reporting sir all right corporal all quiet
01:37When I say all quiet, I'm not referring to the noise sir if you know what I mean all quiet is part of military
01:44proceeds Peter
01:46But the old fools trying to tell you come monitoring is that we didn't they spot any Nazi parachutists
01:51Why the man got fixed bayonets go home one case the parachute is come floating down
01:56You've got to be ready for the old upward thrust
02:05Don't have a rest in the corner Jones very good sir number two patrol in the corner having the rest
02:17You may scoff, but I
02:20Admire his spirit
02:22And see the light of battle in his eyes very exhilarating it's awfully good sir, but he doesn't get rather ever excited
02:29Wouldn't mind seeing the light of battle in your eyes sometimes
02:35You had enough sleep well he must admit sir we've been rather hard at it just recently
02:39I mean we spent all the day in the bank and
02:41Half the night on duty
02:43I'm just as tired as you are I
02:45Don't go about with a dozy look on my face
02:48As an officer I have to set an example to the men and you should do the same of course come on
02:57Would you like some hundreds and thousands
03:06You like some mr. Manning not with my cocos
03:11I always get my sweets rationing hundreds and thousands because they weigh much lighter when you get far more
03:18I
03:20Shouldn't get ready from true
03:23Sir if you ask my opinion
03:26I'd think it's a sheer folly for the men to go out there, and I just know sheer folly
03:32Had a shrapnel's coming down like a heel
03:36What do you suggest we do then?
03:38Crouching this funk hole all night no
03:42After all there's nothing much they can do out there is there so they might as well stay in here is just plain
03:47Common-sense war has nothing to do with common-sense Fraser. I don't want to skulk in here
03:51I want to get out there and get to grips with the enemy aren't they rather high up
03:57Captain Manning that's the sort of talk. I like to hear sir. You know you remind me of a major. We had in the trenches in
04:041916 he was just like you his name was major Willoughby Darcy sir, and he didn't like skulking either
04:12He couldn't bear skulking he didn't like crouching and skulking at all sir he was a marvelous man
04:18You ought to seen him his top boots polished like glass and he had a monocle in his eye glistening away there
04:24Anyway one day. We was all crouching down in the trench and suddenly says look there boys
04:30I've had about enough of this he says I'm going up on the parapet and walk about and show them damn Jerry's
04:37I am NOT afraid of them, and he got up on the parapet
04:40Yes, I think I know what you're going to tell me
04:44Walked about on the parapet. I've never suffered a scratch. No see got shot
04:49And he got shot in a very awkward place he did a lot of crouching after that
04:55You like some hundreds and pounds mr.. Jones, that's very nice
04:58I
05:06Mean that was close. I think it came down in the woods. Yeah, what are you lot doing hiding in here?
05:11Shouldn't you be out looking for parachute? Why don't you clear off mind your own business? I don't you start Napoleon
05:15Why aren't you out a RP in?
05:20Look mate we've been on duty all night. I've done my job. That was a second bomb. We've had tonight
05:25Where did the first one come down well luckily it was only a small one dropped on the pumping station
05:29There was nobody in it. What do you mean? There was nobody in it?
05:32Walker and Godfrey are on duty there. Oh, no one told me come on. Let's get as fast as we can
05:39What are you doing down there boy picking up me hundreds and thousands
05:47You can't go interfering this is an ARP matter. Why don't you mind your own business stop pushing everybody about?
05:55Pick up some Anderson
05:57warden after you
06:11Hey, I told you nobody's here
06:13I must be in the other room
06:23Mr.. Murray
06:25I
06:30Give you back
06:34All right all right
06:37Hands off
06:39Hey, all right walking. I'm all right, sir, but I can't get up. What happened well all the walls falling against that door
06:45And I can't open it
06:46Where's Godfrey? He's up in the top bunk having to sleep
06:48I
06:53Falls asleep on duty in wartime a national service that's an offense punishable by death
07:07I'm doing
07:09What are you both doing in there one of you should be on duty on the roof?
07:11Yeah, well, I did my two hours on the roof
07:13And then I come down to get Godfrey to relieve me now if I was asleep
07:16I couldn't wake him up and then the bomb came down
07:18Godfrey's name Wilson Willie. I'll see him in the office
07:28I think he's ill why well, I can't wake him. I've tried everything all right. We'll have you under there in no time
07:48I
07:52Don't think it's too bad. I think we'll soon shift this hey. You're not shifting anything
07:56This is an ARP job heavy rescue, and I'm in charge. I'm chief warden remember rubbish. I'm in charge here
08:02No, I tell you I'm in charge these are my men, and I am in charge and that is that
08:06What heaven said look at that what well? There's huge cracks in the ceiling
08:10Oh
08:12Come down at any moment
08:15Go blimey
08:17Perhaps you're right captain Henry
08:19You should be in charge
08:22As you say they are your men
08:25He changes to real quick perfectly still I suppose and take my hand
08:34Take my hand
08:41I said
09:00You robbed them, but the slightest noise or movement could bring the whole thing crashing down on us
09:04I haven't got very much time because for all we know Godfrey might be video the question is
09:09How can we shift that rubble without the rest of the roof coming down on top of us
09:13well
09:14The only way that I can see is it was former chain
09:18And they'll be past the rubble back into this room
09:21Now it's not going to be very pleasant for whoever's at the head of that chain no pleasant
09:25It's gonna be damn dangerous
09:31I'd like to volunteer to be at the head of a daisy chain
09:38The head of a daisy chain
09:42No no no no no no we're gonna draw lots for it
09:46Now I'm gonna put
09:48crosses on two pieces of this paper and
09:51Whoever gets the two crosses goes to the head of the chain
10:00What is it Frank I saw them do this once in that film each dawn I die
10:06Who was it who got the piece of paper with the cross on it the sergeant
10:16Six pieces of paper in this hat what are you talking about six or any five of you yes, and you make the sixth
10:24Wait a minute this has got nothing to do with me. I knew it fellas yellow. You're quite right jock
10:30He's got a yellow streak a foot wide right down the middle of me back
10:35Yeah, it's all right. I'll take one. I'm not gonna. Give you a lot of chance to have anything on me
10:45It's blank nothing on each other president. I'm next
10:59Take the next one
11:06And I've got the second
11:09Let me go instead of you sir. Let me go instead of you sir. You're too young to die sir
11:15No no no call
11:17How would you hear at this end of the chain? I'll take off your equipment
11:22But leave your hats on
11:24right
11:25And come along chief warden
11:35Don't make a noise
12:05Noise
12:20Hey
12:31Okay
12:35I
12:50Can't hear anything
12:59What's going on
13:02We're nearly through mr. Godfrey, I don't know I can't make it out sleeping like a baby
13:08I'm here sir
13:28How's country I don't know he seems all right sir, I just can't wake him up
13:31Holy
13:34Hey me Godfrey all right
13:40That's all right, what are you two doing here? I told you to stay in the other room well if the silly old
13:45Poor old man's not very well. We want to help you mustn't forget
13:49I've got my first aid badge from the Boy Scouts
13:51Tell Jones to stay where he is and to shut his door right right button quietly, right?
13:56Josie
13:57Madeline says stay where you are and close the door so stay where I am and close the door
14:06Can't reach it from here
14:09Yes, right sir, right and close it
14:25Close it very quietly. I'll find mess you've landed us in mannering. Oh shut up
14:38There must be a ton of bricks against that door
14:48Sir I'm afraid I'd close the door too hardly
14:56I
14:58Wasn't to be very careful Jones. Yes, sir. I want you to go back to the command post
15:02Get hold of private sponge yeah, and the rest of them and tell them to come back here and risk us
15:06I'm back there and rescue right you don't panic sir. Don't you panic sir?
15:13Mr.. Godfrey's waking up Oh
15:16Thank heavens
15:22I must have dozed off for a moment
15:25He's been asleep for four hours
15:28Are you playing at Godfrey?
15:31Haven't been sleeping very well lately, and I mentioned it the clinic this morning. They gave me some tablets
15:35They must have been stronger than I thought
15:38How dare you take sleeping tablets on active service?
15:42Have a jolly good night
15:44Yeah permission to worry you I
15:49Can't get out
15:52I tried to open the back door and the knob come off me hand
15:57What did I tell you we're doomed
16:02No be quiet
16:04Let me think now. Don't you worry you'll get an idea in a minute, so you'll get an idea in a minute
16:08I know you will sir
16:18Keep calm
16:22Wilson
16:26Now we'd like to be here for some time yes
16:28We're gonna keep these men cheerful until help arrives of course right so whatever I do
16:32I want you to back me up right with a smile on your face. Yes
16:37Is that all right sir do you think
16:41Better than nothing I suppose
16:43Get around man
16:46I
16:47Can't we're in a pretty tight spot
16:50It shouldn't go all that long before private sponge and the rest realize that we're missing and come to our rescue
16:55So in the meantime I think we'll keep our spirits up by having a little sing-song
17:00Now what should we sing? I can give you one mr.. Murray. It was Christmas Day in the workhouse and all the candles were lit
17:08Something that we can do actions to
17:15Sing one of those songs we sing around the fire in the Boy Scouts
17:19Yes, that's an excellent idea Pike. Yes. I know why don't we take a leaf from his majesty's book and
17:26sing under the spreading chestnut tree
17:30Start with will do the cheerful actions and we'll follow
17:33If Sergeant Wilson's going to do cheerful actions. I just assume we're miserable
17:37I
17:39mean subordination
17:40Right now wrong now. I take it you you know the action what I do. I know the baby sir
17:45I saw them on movie turned news. Yeah, so that's good enough right Charlie Wilson. We do this
17:50Well, I don't know them terribly well, so perhaps one of the others might be a little bit better than myself. You know
17:59Look yes back me to the hill of course. Yes, sir. You will do these actions. That is an order right right yes
18:05And you would do it cheerful
18:10Would you like me to come down and join in or stay up here and join in
18:16Stay up there
18:19Right all together that yeah, Oh Jones. Yeah, you will do the actions of course yes
18:23Yes, sir, even though I'm invisible to you sir. I should do the actions right up to the hill
18:31One two
18:35Chestnut tree
18:45Me the spreading chest
18:48I
18:59Don't I'm all right, but it's difficult doing the actions when you're pressed up against the wall
19:09Perhaps you'd better just sing the words
19:17I
19:47Mean I'm all wet
19:56Why don't we wrap something around the pipe to stop the flow
20:02Because you're wet already
20:06Now we're underground if that keeps pouring in we're all gonna drown
20:09I suppose we can't stop it. Yeah
20:14There's no such word as can't Walker get in there boy
20:25Right freezes any encouraging to be done. I'll do it
20:28Stop cops in the other room perhaps Jones could turn the water off. Oh, yes
20:40Oh
20:41Joe Joe's to cut the water off of the stock
20:45Hey Jonesy, what listen there's water pouring in here. Mr. Manning wants you to turn it off
20:51Turn it off by the stop cops
20:53What stop cops what stop cops the stop cops on the pipe the stop cops on the pipe cop?
20:59All right, all right
21:06Which ways off which ways off clockwise clockwise clockwise
21:29I
21:33Ain't good guys
21:45Miss Mannery, could I come up on the bank, please? I'm sorry Pike. There isn't any room
21:52Oh, what am I gonna do when the water reaches my head? Oh, don't worry about that. We'd have thought of something right then
22:10Can I come in your bath, please mr. Hodges
22:13No, you can't come in my bath. There's only room for one. Let's stop walking about you're making waves
22:18I
22:25Sing a song. Yeah, what do we sing about sleep in the deep?
22:30I
22:45Use don't let me up on that bunk. I'll tell mum
22:50Mourning Frank can't you see there's no room
22:54We haven't got much time. Yes, mr. Manning
22:57You said you'd think of something before I reach my head
23:00Oh, don't worry, don't worry, I'm working on it
23:04Have you thought of anything yet Wilson? No, I haven't actually so no, but I'm working on it, too. Yes now what up?
23:11The water's getting higher and higher
23:14Don't you think it'd be a good idea? We didn't talk so much. Let me might save the air a bit. You'll be quiet Godfrey
23:20Then for you, we wouldn't have been in this mess in the first place
23:24We're in tune
23:26and
23:30Mind the time when I was a wee bit laddie on the lone Isle of Barra a
23:36Submarine got sunk in Castle B and seven brave men were trapped in it
23:45The water got higher and higher and higher
23:50Until it got up to their necks and then
23:53a
23:58Terrible way to die
24:05You want to be excused it's impossible
24:12I think I found a way out. Don't be absurd. We open this manhole
24:20I
24:22Would you undo the boats?
24:24Hey
24:26Mr. Murray. Yeah, I think that's what those spanners are for. Yes
24:30Hi Joe, I think you're right boy
24:34You're gonna get that big span
24:46I can't reach it. Mr. Manning
24:49You you
24:55Mr. Rogers to you Napoleon
25:19I
25:27Can't reach it
25:34If I'm not very careful
25:49Oh
25:55All the incompetent idiots, don't worry, mr. Manning
25:59I'll get
26:13Well done can you manage yeah, it's a bit stiff but they're coming
26:29We're
26:35Wait a minute
26:37It's a manhole
26:40Before
26:42It fits it fits. Don't worry my brave lads. I'll get you out my brave lads. I'll risk you
26:49Come on, come on. Give me a hand. I'll do it. No, I can't I mean you don't get us all wet
26:54I'd like to make you wet mate
27:00So we can go rescue Joe
27:02We're off man
27:04I'm coming my brave lads. I'm coming my brave lads. Don't you worry. I'll come in Jones. He's come in
27:11Hurry up. Hurry up. I'm wet through I'm just as wet as you are
27:30Are you there?
27:38Right here Jones, it's gone. No, no, it has me look
27:56All right, I'm getting out of here
28:00I
28:05Shut this door well drafty you're wetter. I didn't want you to catch cold
28:13You've done it again haven't you got
28:18What are we gonna do mr. Man what we're gonna do
28:20Oh, it's quite simple
28:21Somebody's got to go through that hole then through the other room through the other hole and then over the top to open that door
28:26Right
28:56Ladies and gentlemen, we're kicking off series 5 with a bang right here man. God, man
29:01Who are we blaming man Godfrey? I think we gotta blame Godfrey on this one, but hold on a second
29:06Thank you guys for hanging out man edge of my seat
29:09This was awesome. Hold on
29:17Gonna soar I gotta soar so a smirk on I'm there but
29:21Yeah
29:23Major props to my boy Pike on this episode. I feel like there was a lot of great moments Frazier's beady eyes
29:32Oh my god, he was doom and gloom man, you know trying to get my boy Godfrey in trouble
29:39You know that guy cracks me up and yeah, he was definitely worried it, you know, where did shit so another dope episode?
29:47I really enjoyed that chestnut tree performance not familiar with the song
29:51but I think that
29:54in a time of
29:56Uncertainty, you know attention you you don't know what what's gonna happen. I think yeah singing a song and having a little dance
30:05Would yeah definitely boost my spirits if I was on the platoon make me kind of you know
30:10Calm calm doing a little bit because yeah with Frazier there man, you know getting all worried and shit
30:16And you know, you got Pike there, too
30:22Yeah, this was so cool so a lot of crazy shenanigans on this episode
30:29Throughout all the laughs before we finding out if Godfrey's, okay. Let me know worried. Were you guys worried?
30:36Obviously if you watch this show a hundred times, please say, you know when you first watched it, you know
30:43I mean, I already knew you know, none of that stuff when you first watch this if you're watching first time with me as well
30:49Yeah, I was worried for my boy Godfrey and stuff when especially when Walker was like he's not waking up
30:54He's tried everything. So between all these laughs and
30:59There's plenty
31:00Yeah, you had a little bit of moment of worrying for Godfrey and then this water situation, which was crazy, man
31:08I think the warning was exceptional as well. Obviously, he's not the greatest of swimmers
31:14So him in the water on his I'm gonna just call it like a little boat
31:19You know made for a funny, you know moment there, but man, I think Pike's moment there with
31:26Mr. Manor, Captain Manor, I think that that one is gonna be engraved in my brain
31:33and quite frankly
31:35maybe Godfrey closing the door after
31:39Jonesy essentially, you know took the knob out. So, you know some great moments Jonesy's performance, you know, what can we say?
31:46but we've always said that
31:50Jonesy is always a brave guy
31:52But Manoring is it's very brave in a lot of situations as well because he took one for I believe it
31:59he took one for Pike because I
32:02think there were the last two to potentially pick because
32:06You had the warden who got one and I think everyone else except for Pike and Manoring
32:12We're like the last two so you got like what a 50-50 chance
32:16So he took it for Pike. I don't think Pike would have done good in that scenario
32:19And again that just shows the bravery. He's not just the guy
32:24That barks orders and tells the guys what to do
32:28He's there to put himself in the front line where you know, Jonesy was like, you know, you could get hurt
32:33So that is something we respect about Manoring and I've might have said I've said this before or
32:40Through people in twitch, but Wilson is the guy that man constantly a lot of times
32:47It's in La La Land, you know what? I mean daydreaming always thinking about something. He had a nice intimate moment with Manoring
32:54He's holding his hand. I think he was rubbing Manoring as well. Hold my hand. Damn it, essentially
32:59You know with the having to remove all the stuff so I think this was it's just exceptional
33:05Episode I mean from start to finish a lot of things going on
33:08Obviously the place, you know, you know things have happened. You had the catastrophe happening and you know Walker and this and Godfrey stuck
33:17I'm just glad it all worked out. But man, I don't think dad's army fails to
33:23You know every episode so far. It just feels great
33:27You know plenty of laughs, you know, I enjoyed when we watched a movie as well
33:32I mean like this show is really good to cast us exceptional job here in Jonesy talked and when Jonesy was telling his story where
33:40Manor was thinking it was potentially
33:42You know, sometimes when someone is telling the story you might think it's a predictable
33:47Ending of sort and where Manoring was like, oh no, I know what I know what happened and he said it and
33:52He was like no the guy got shot. He's now he sure know how to bend down now
33:56It's tough. So Jonesy's good storyteller. I love Frazier as well
34:00Even though sometimes he's a pain in the ass and and you know, he wants to get people in trouble
34:07Constantly and stuff like that. He's definitely the first guy. He's definitely the guy you got to be very careful, right?
34:13You gonna be the first guy that's gonna be snitching on you man, you know, he'll grass you up
34:17Yeah, that's the only thing I don't like about him. And sometimes he talks shit and
34:23Then he changes his tune so that's the only thing complaint about him, but you know great character
34:30From the eyes the story tells that he does a lot of the doom and gloom
34:34You know, you got Jonesy. Don't panic. Don't panic
34:38You know, we like Manor and trying to reassure tell him Wilson you smile a little bit
34:42And I'll bet his interactions with Wilson are very funny
34:46And I'm glad Pike was when he was talking about I guess it was the film or movie
34:51I don't know about it. But um, he was saying who got chosen and it was the sergeant. So it's nice to see that
34:59Although he may have been saved in the first instance. He wasn't saved in the second instance. And hey
35:06Yeah, so Wilson drop your trousers
35:11Man I freaking love this show, you know, I'm having a blast watching it brings me a lot of joy week to week
35:17And and I thank you for a company me my company me on my journey
35:22Apologize, sometimes we gibberish, you know words are hard for me, but know that I'm having a great time
35:28Cast is great. The adventures are there for me and just another show. We look forward to week to week
35:33So thank you guys for hanging out
