00:00computer science videos here today to show you guys in this tutorial how to post an

00:05announcement to your team conversation on Microsoft Teams using a Mac computer

00:10without further ado, let us start the video. So in this tutorial you need to have

00:15access to a Mac computer and account for Microsoft Office 365. Now this can be

00:18work, school or business. You also need to have access to the desktop application

00:23Microsoft Teams. So we're going to go down to the dock, go to Launchpad, go to Mac

00:28Office, go to Microsoft Teams. Let's just wait for that to load and now make sure

00:34you are signed into the account. Then go to the left hand side navigation menu, go to

00:38Teams, go to your teams, go to a channel within your teams. Let's just go to social

00:43media, go to new conversation. In the previous tutorial you did see myself

00:48create a team conversation with high importance. In this tutorial we are going

00:55one step further, creating an announcement. So we can now expand the

01:00conversation, new conversation, click on this, click on announcement and now we

01:05have a headline. That's the headline, computer science videos. We can add a subhead,

01:18social media, type your announcement. This is an announcement and so on. So we can,

01:33if we wish to, choose to tag individuals. Let's now post and there we go. So this

01:41is an announcement and this will be broadcasted to everybody within the team

01:47within the channel, on teams, within your brand or company. So we can now quit

01:54Microsoft Teams and so that's it for this video. I'll see you guys in my next
