Cardamom, often referred to as the "Queen of Spices," boasts an impressive array of health benefits that can positively impact the body in numerous ways. This aromatic spice is rich in antioxidants, which help combat oxidative stress and neutralize harmful free radicals, thereby promoting overall health and potentially reducing the risk of chronic diseases. Cardamom is also renowned for its digestive benefits, as it can help reduce bloating, gas, and indigestion, and stimulate the production of digestive enzymes, making it an excellent remedy for gastrointestinal issues. It possesses anti-inflammatory properties that can alleviate conditions like sore throats and respiratory discomfort, and its antimicrobial capabilities can fight against oral bacteria, improving dental health and reducing bad breath. Furthermore, cardamom has been shown to have diuretic effects, promoting detoxification by enhancing the elimination of waste through urine, which can help lower blood pressure and support kidney health. Additionally, it may improve metabolic function and aid in weight management due to its potential to enhance fat metabolism and reduce fat accumulation. Incorporating cardamom into your diet can also regulate blood sugar levels and may offer cardio-protective benefits by promoting heart health. Lastly, its mood-enhancing properties can alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety, making cardamom a versatile and valuable addition to a health-conscious lifestyle.

00:00I'm going to share something with you today that can change your life, a spice called
00:07cardamom.
00:08And many of you might not have heard about it.
00:11It's in your grocery store.
00:14You can order it online, in your health food store.
00:16These are the cardamom pods that you can chew on.
00:21I will get back to this at the end of the video.
00:25But if you have conditions like high blood pressure, digestive issues, gas, bloating,
00:31female problems like cramps around that time of the month, respiratory issues, and the
00:37list goes on, I know that this can make a big difference in your health so you can start
00:45feeling well again.
00:46And when it comes to detoxifying your system, cardamom water can do wonderful things for
00:51you, including the flavonoids and phenolic compounds.
00:54They help neutralize the harmful free radicals in your body.
00:58And by doing so, cardamom water supports the natural detoxification process, assisting
01:03the elimination of toxins and promoting overall detoxification, helping your lymphatic system
01:09as well as your liver.
01:10And if you have digestive issues, which many of us do, cardamom water can help enhance
01:16specific enzymes for better digestion, such as amylase, lipase, and protease.
01:23Lipase will help facilitate the digestion of your foods.
01:26And cardamom has powerful anti-inflammatory properties.
01:30These compounds help reduce inflammation in the body by inhibiting the production of inflammatory
01:35molecules like cytokines and prostaglandins.
01:39And by reducing the inflammation, this will help alleviate the symptoms associated with
01:43inflammatory conditions, such as arthritis, asthma, and many other digestive problems.
01:50And when it comes to your respiratory health, there's nothing like cardamom because it will
01:56reduce and break down that mucus, that heavy, sticky phlegm that's in your respiratory tract.
02:03And this will give you relief from your respiratory conditions from coughing, congestion, as well
02:08as bronchitis.
02:09And cardamom has antimicrobial properties that will help combat respiratory infections,
02:15preventing their progression and promoting faster recovery.
02:19And ladies, if you have those PMS cramps, that bloating, that discomfort that's keeping
02:23you from sleeping, that's making you miserable, cardamom water has muscle relaxing properties
02:30helping to relax the uterine muscles and reduce the intensity of your cramps.
02:35And cardamom is good for your arteries.
02:36It has vasodilatory effects, meaning it can help widen and relax the blood vessels, which
02:42leads to improved blood flow and reduces the resistance within the arteries, ultimately
02:47lowering blood pressure, as well as taking stress off of the heart.
02:53Cardamom water has also been studied for its potential to regulate blood sugar levels.
02:58And by helping to maintain stable blood sugar levels, it will prevent those spikes and crashes
03:02in energy, which can give you more satiety and keep you from overeating.
03:07And how many times have you eaten the wrong meals or mixed the wrong foods together, and
03:13you noticed you got that extended bloatiness, that big belly filled with excessive fluids,
03:20maybe too much sodium you took in from your foods and didn't even know it.
03:25But cardamom water will reduce that sodium, reduce that bloating.
03:29It will increase the kidney excretion of water.
03:33But again, you must drink more water because water acts as a diuretic as well.
03:39But cardamom will give you those real quick results.
03:42And cardamom has thermogenic effects.
03:45That means it helps increase the body's metabolic rate and heat production, which can lead to
03:50an increase in energy expenditure and potentially aid in weight management.
03:54So let me show you the cardamom seeds.
03:57I'll put it in the camera as you can see it.
04:00Yes, they are green cardamom.
04:02And what I generally do, I take a few of these cardamom seeds.
04:06Again, these are kernels around it.
04:08It's fiber, the seeds inside.
04:10I just start chewing on it.
04:12Yes, you can swallow it as well or spit it out, but I swallow it because it's fiber.
04:17And it immediately gives me relief when I have those cramps and indigestion.
04:22I feel that bloating.
04:24I just feel like something's not right.
04:26I feel even gas because it will help reduce that flagellants.
04:30This is something that can be a lifesaver for you.
04:33Now you can take this cardamom and take four or five of these seeds.
04:38You can chop it up.
04:40Take some boiling hot water.
04:42Put it in there.
04:43Let it steep like a tea.
04:44Or what I like to do, I take some organic ground cardamom.
04:49This is cardamom, but it's ground.
04:51And I'll take about a quarter of a teaspoon or up to a half a teaspoon.
04:56I'll put it in there.
04:57You can put it in regular warm water or you can heat it up like a tea as well, but you're
05:02going to drink the ground cardamom.
05:05And this is a lot easier.
05:07Just mix it up.
05:08Drink it right down.
05:09It's like immediate results.
05:11It's like pushing a button.
05:13It's really amazing.
05:15And I hope this video serves you well.
05:17Please share it with your friends and family.
05:19I know they'll benefit.
05:21This spice is extremely helpful.
05:23It has those healing medicinal properties and the results are quite fast.
05:29Please leave your comments below.
05:31I would love to see how you responded to cardamom.
05:34I'm sure that if you're a cardamom lover, if you're using it in your food or if you
05:38are eating it or drinking it regularly, you'll leave your comments as well.
05:44Most important, make it a great day.
05:47I'm Dr. Alan Mandel.
