00:00Pop goes Thomas.
00:05It was summer on the island of Sodor.
00:09Engines puffed and chuffed happily in the sunshine.
00:15The children were excited.
00:19Today was their summer picnic in the whispering woods.
00:26Thomas was excited too.
00:28He had a very special special.
00:32This is the lemonade for the school picnic, Thomas.
00:36You must take it to Whispering Woods Halt.
00:39Yes, sir.
00:44Thomas had never carried lemonade before.
00:48He puffed proudly out of Knapford Station.
00:52On the way, Thomas went over some bumpy track.
00:59Fizzling fireboxes!
01:03Rattle, rattle, shake, shake went the lemonade in Thomas' truck.
01:08And then pop went one of the corks.
01:13Thomas couldn't see what had made the popping sound.
01:17Ha ha ha, bust my buffers! That noise was very funny.
01:23Thomas stopped at a junction.
01:26The Whispering Woods Halt is straight ahead.
01:29But if I take the left track, it's bumpier.
01:33Maybe then I'll hear the funny popping noise again.
01:36I'd like that.
01:41So Thomas took the left track.
01:47The track was very bumpy.
01:50Whoa!
01:52If I bounce along the track, perhaps that sound will soon come back.
01:56The sound that makes me smile and giggle when I puff on tracks that jiggle.
02:03Rattle, rattle, shake, shake wobbled the lemonade.
02:08Pop, pop, pop burst the cork.
02:10Whoa! Ha ha ha!
02:14That sound makes me very happy.
02:17Then Thomas saw Mr. Bubbles the Clown.
02:21He was going to the school picnic too.
02:24Hello, Mr. Bubbles. Isn't this the funniest noise you've heard?
02:31A popping cork hit Mr. Bubbles.
02:34It knocked his big red nose off.
02:38But Thomas didn't know he'd knocked off Mr. Bubbles' red nose.
02:42He was too busy thinking about the next bit of bumpy track.
02:47That was fun!
02:50I know where there is some even bumpier track ahead.
02:53That means more funny popping.
02:59This track was very bumpy indeed.
03:03Whoa! Ha ha ha!
03:07If I bounce along the track, perhaps that sound will soon come back.
03:12The sound that makes me smile and giggle when I puff on tracks that jiggle.
03:17Rattle, rattle, shake, shake wobbled the lemonade.
03:21Pop, pop, pop pinged the corks right into a field of pigs.
03:26The pigs were surprised as the corks dropped and plopped into the mud around them.
03:32What a jolly noise!
03:34Then Thomas saw some bakers.
03:37They were waiting outside the bakery.
03:40They were waiting for Emily.
03:44Emily was coming to pick up the cakes for the picnic.
03:49Isn't this the funniest noise you've heard?
03:52Popping corks hit the bakers and the cakes.
03:58All the cakes were spoiled.
04:01But Thomas still didn't notice.
04:05He was far too busy thinking about the next bit of bumpy track.
04:11If I take this track, it will be the bumpiest track on the whole of Sodor.
04:19If I bounce along the track, perhaps that sound will soon come back.
04:23The sound that makes me smile and giggle when I puff on tracks that jiggle.
04:30Rattle, rattle, shake, shake jiggled the lemonade.
04:34Pop, pop, pop pinged the corks right into a field of pigs.
04:41Rattle, rattle, shake, shake jiggled the lemonade.
04:45Pop, pop, pop popped the corks.
04:49Then Thomas saw James.
04:53James was taking the children to the picnic.
05:00Hello, James. Isn't this noise the funniest noise you've heard?
05:04But James didn't think it was funny at all when a cork bounced off his shiny red paint.
05:10What's that?
05:15Then there was trouble.
05:17The popping corks hit the signalman.
05:20He was so surprised he pulled the wrong lever.
05:24The tracks changed.
05:26James was sent into a siding.
05:30James bumped the buffers.
05:33Luckily no one was hurt.
05:35But still Thomas didn't notice.
05:40He was having a wonderful time.
05:44At last Thomas arrived at the whispering woods halt.
05:49The Fat Controller wasn't happy.
05:53Thomas, you have caused confusion and delay.
05:57Mr Bubbles has lost his nose.
05:59Now he will be late.
06:01When Emily arrived to pick up the cakes, they were spoiled.
06:05James has bumped the buffers.
06:08The Fat Controller and the flatbed have lost their corks.
06:11The lemonade is all gone.
06:14Suddenly the very last cork popped and knocked the Fat Controller's hat right off his head.
06:21The Fat Controller was surprised.
06:24Thomas gasped.
06:26Cinders and dashes.
06:28The funny popping sound that made me laugh must have been the corks.
06:34This is all my fault, sir.
06:37Thomas felt terrible.
06:39Now the children couldn't have their picnic.
06:42I can put this right, sir.
06:45Thomas pumped his pistons and shoved quickly away.
06:50First Thomas puffed to the bakery.
06:56The bakers had baked more cakes and they were loaded onto Thomas' trucks.
07:02Then Thomas chuffed to Knapford for more lemonade.
07:09He saw Mr Bubbles.
07:12Mr Bubbles had bought a new red nose.
07:16I'm sorry about your nose, sir.
07:18And I'm sorry I made you late.
07:21Now, may I take you to the picnic?
07:24That's a splendid idea, Thomas.
07:28Soon Thomas was steaming back to the whispering woods halt.
07:36On the way, Thomas told Mr Bubbles all about the popping corks.
07:43They made a very funny sound.
07:45It made me laugh. It made me happy.
07:49Soon, Thomas, you'll hear a sound that makes you feel even happier.
07:55Thomas was puzzled.
07:59This time at the junction, Thomas took the flat track straight to the whispering woods halt.
08:07Thomas arrived at the whispering woods halt just in time.
08:12Not one of the corks had popped.
08:14The children saw Thomas had brought Mr Bubbles and the cakes.
08:19Thomas listened to the children laughing and cheering.
08:24Now, Thomas, that is the happiest sound of all.
08:29You're right, Mr Bubbles.
08:32And Thomas laughed loudest of all.
