00:20And Thomas has very important jobs.

00:31I must pick up the logs for Farmer McColl, he puffed.
00:37Percy was waiting at the signal when Thomas arrived.
00:42He was very excited.
00:45Look what's over there, Thomas, peeped Percy.
00:49Thomas looked. The children were excited.
00:53I've never seen such a big snowman.
00:56Neither have I, tooted Thomas happily.
01:00The signal changed to green and Thomas steamed away.
01:06Suddenly, a strong gust of wind lifted the snowman off the ground, away from the children.
01:15The snowman was a snowman balloon.
01:20Thomas didn't see the guide ropes catch on his buffers and get caught there.
01:26And he didn't know the balloon was now following him.
01:32Thomas stopped at the level crossing.
01:37Suddenly, the children's snowman was there in front of him.
01:42Thomas didn't know a snowman could dance in the air.
01:46What are you doing here, Mr. Snowman, cried Thomas.
01:50Mr. Snowman said nothing.
01:53You must go back to the children, tooted Thomas.

02:04If I puff fast, chuffed Thomas, Mr. Snowman will never be able to follow me.
02:11Thomas arrived at Brendam Docks.
02:19James was there delivering coal.
02:22Thomas, what are you doing with that snowman, he snorted.
02:27Oh, no!
02:29Suddenly, the snowman danced in front of Thomas again.
02:34The snowman danced in front of Thomas again.
02:37Mr. Snowman, I told you to go back to the children.
02:41Why are you still following me?
02:44Thomas steamed off as quickly as he could.
02:49He hoped the snowman wouldn't follow him.
02:52Thomas, called James, why do you have a giant balloon tied to your buffers?
02:59But Thomas didn't hear him.
03:04Farmer McColl was waiting on the platform.
03:08Thomas wheeshed to a halt.
03:12Thomas, he exclaimed, what are you doing with that snowman?
03:17Oh, no! tooted Thomas.
03:20Suddenly, the snowman danced in front of Thomas again.
03:25Mr. Snowman, I told you to go back to the children.
03:29Why are you still following me?
03:32Farmer McColl didn't understand.
03:35And Thomas didn't know how to tell Farmer McColl about his frosty friend.
03:42Thomas steamed off as quickly as he could.
03:47He hoped the snowman wouldn't follow him.
03:50Thomas, called Farmer McColl, why do you have a giant balloon tied to your buffers?
03:56But Thomas didn't hear him.
04:03Thomas had to stop at the signal at Maithwaite station.
04:07Emily was picking up passengers.
04:10Emily could see the snowman bobbing about behind Thomas.
04:17Thomas, laughed Emily, what are you doing with that snowman?
04:22Suddenly, the snowman floated in front of Thomas again.
04:28Mr. Snowman, I told you to go back to the children, cried Thomas.
04:34Why are you still following me?
04:37Thomas steamed off as quickly as he could.
04:41He hoped the snowman wouldn't follow him.
04:44Thomas, whistled Emily, why do you have a giant balloon tied to your buffers?
04:50But Thomas didn't hear her.
04:53He didn't know how to make Mr. Snowman go back to the children.
04:58Then he had an idea.
05:00I'll hide, puffed Thomas quietly.
05:04Thomas chuffed in to a lonely siding.
05:08He couldn't see the snowman.
05:10I think Mr. Snowman has gone back to the children, Thomas tooted.
05:15Suddenly, a gust of wind blew hard.
05:18Mr. Snowman danced in front of Thomas again.
05:24He was still following him.
05:27I must tell the Fat Controller what has happened, cried Thomas.
05:32I need his help.
05:34And Thomas raced off.
05:39Thomas puffed back in to Maithwaite Station.
05:43Farmer McCall and the Fat Controller were there.
05:48Please sir, peeped Thomas.
05:51I don't know what to do.
05:53I've tried to tell Mr. Snowman to go back to the children.
05:57But he has followed me everywhere.
06:01And he still is.
06:05And he still is, laughed the Fat Controller.
06:09The snowman is a balloon, Thomas.
06:12And he is caught on your buffers.
06:15He is following you because you are pulling him.
06:20A balloon, whistled Thomas.
06:23I thought snowmen were always made of snow.
06:27Thomas felt very happy.
06:30Now he could take Mr. Snowman back to the children.

06:45They cheered and cheered.
