00:00Flash, bang, wallop. On the island of Sodor, all the engines are very proud of their railway.
00:12They want everyone to know how proudly they puff, how hard they huff, and how cheerfully they chuff.
00:22One morning the engines were at Tidmouth Sheds. Their boilers were bubbling.
00:28They were ready to work. Then the Fat Controller arrived.
00:33Good morning, sir.
00:35Good morning.
00:36The Fat Controller was holding a big book.
00:39I have something to show you all. It is a book called Great Railways.
00:46Inside there are lots of photographs of really useful mainland engines.
00:53The engines whistled with wonder.
00:56Today a photographer is coming to Sodor. He will take photographs of you all.
01:03The photographs will go into Sodor's very own Great Railways book.
01:09You all have jobs to do. Puff proudly and huff your hardest.
01:16And don't delay. The photographer must leave by tea time.
01:22The engines were very excited.
01:25I hope the photographer will take some photographs of me delivering the mail.
01:30I'll be photographed because I am the brightest red engine on the island.
01:36And I will be photographed because I am the number one tank engine.
01:41No, Thomas. I will be photographed more than you because I am Gordon.
01:48I'm fastest and best and pull the express.
01:53And Gordon puffed grandly away. Thomas was cross.
01:58Gordon won't be photographed more than me. I'll make sure of that.
02:03But first I must hurry to start my jobs at Farmer Trotter's farm.
02:07And Thomas puffed quickly away. Thomas clickety clacked along the tracks.
02:14The pigs from the farm snorted and snuffled. Thomas saw Percy ahead.
02:20And he saw the photographer. Thomas's firebox fizzed.
02:25The photographer is waiting to take a photograph of Percy.
02:29If I hurry, I can be in Percy's photograph.
02:33Thomas pumped his pistons and raced up to Percy just as the camera flashed.
02:41Bye, Percy!
02:43Flash! Bang! Wallop!
02:45Percy was so surprised, he bashed and crashed into a siding and straight into a heap of coal.
02:54Flatten my funnel!
02:56But Thomas didn't know. He was too busy feeling pleased with himself.
03:02Thomas puffed through Marron Station towards Farmer Trotter's farm.
03:08Gordon thundered by with the express. Thomas smiled.
03:13I'm sure Gordon hasn't been in the photograph yet. I must find the photographer again.
03:19Further down the track, Thomas found the photographer. He was waiting to take a photograph of James.
03:27If I wheesh and whoosh, I can be in James's photograph.
03:32Thomas's wheels whirred. He raced up to James just as the camera went flash.
03:39Bye, James! Flash! Bang! Wallop!
03:42James was so surprised, he hit the buffers and his wheels bounced off the track.
03:49Rattle my rods!
03:52But Thomas didn't know. He was too busy feeling pleased with himself.
03:58Thomas chuffed up to Farmer Trotter's farm with the pigs. Gordon steamed by.
04:05I've been in two magnificent photographs!
04:10Thomas's boiler bubbled.
04:12I must find the photographer. If I hurry, I will be in more photographs than Gordon.
04:20So Thomas chuffed slowly back towards Tidmouth Sheds, looking for the photographer.
04:27Then he found him. The photographer was waiting to take a photograph of Henry.
04:33Henry was about to go under a bridge.
04:36If I wheesh and I whoosh, I can be in Henry's photograph.
04:41Thomas raced towards the bridge just as Henry was huffing in.
04:47Thomas whistled loud and long.
04:49Bust my buffers, Thomas! Steady on!
04:54The photographer was so surprised, he dropped his camera.
04:58Oh no! My camera is smashed! The photographs are ruined!
05:03Thomas gasped.
05:05Cinders and ashes!
05:07Then the Fat Controller stepped from Henry's cab.
05:12Thomas! What are you doing? I hear Percy's mail trucks are derailed!
05:19James hit the buffers with his freight trucks of flowers, and now the camera is broken!
05:28I'm very sorry, sir. I was racing to be in all the photographs.
05:34And now, none of us are in any photographs. And it's all my fault.
05:41I have another camera, but it is at the docks. There isn't time to pick it up now.
05:48Thomas' fun all fizzed.
05:50Yes, there is, sir. I will whoosh like the wind to bring your camera to you in time.
05:57Thomas picked up the camera and pumped his pistons.
06:03On the way to the photographer, Thomas saw Percy.
06:07I'm very sorry, Percy. I made you biff into the siding.
06:11I have to take this camera to the photographer. Then I will come back and help you.
06:18Then Thomas saw James. James was cross.
06:23I'm very sorry, James. I made you biff into the buffers.
06:27I have to take this camera to the photographer. Then I will come back and help you.
06:34The photographer was delighted to have his camera.
06:38Here it is, sir.
06:40Thank you, Thomas.
06:42Now I must go and help my friends Percy and James.
06:45Thomas' pistons pounded.
06:48Then Thomas saw Edward and Rocky.
06:51Edward was shunting Rocky to Brendam Docks.
06:54Rocky, I need your help.
06:57Please, Edward. May I shunt Rocky to rescue Percy and James?
07:01Of course. Happy to help, Thomas.
07:06So Rocky was coupled up to Thomas and off they raced to rescue James.
07:13Thank you, Thomas. Thank you, Rocky.
07:17Then Thomas and Rocky helped Thomas' best friend, Percy.
07:22Thank you, Thomas. Thank you, Rocky.
07:25At last, Thomas chuffed into Tidmouth's shed.
07:29It was late. He was tired.
07:33The photographer has gone home now, Thomas.
07:36I'm sure he has.
07:39The photographer has gone home now, Thomas.
07:42I'm sure I was in more photographs than you, Thomas.
07:47Thomas smiled.
07:49I'm sure you were, Gordon. I had to help my friends.
07:52And that's more important to me than the photographs.
07:58A few days later, the Fat Controller called his engines to Knapford Station.
08:04The photographer was there. He was holding a big book.
08:08This is the book of your railway, sir. Sodor, the Great Railway.
08:16Thank you. I hope it is a book of really useful engines.
08:23Thomas gasped.
08:25Bubbling boilers!
08:27The front cover was a picture of Thomas and Rocky rescuing Percy.
08:33Thomas puffed to Percy.
08:36You and me, Percy. That's the best photograph of all.
