00:00In summer, the island of Sodor gleams in the sun and every station is filled with flowers.
00:08Percy had been working at the docks all day and was tired of the smell of fish.
00:13Phew!
00:14Come on, Percy, said his driver. Time to go home.
00:17Please, sir, can I have a wash down first?
00:21Sorry, Percy, there isn't time. The Fat Controller is waiting for us at the sheds.
00:28There is to be a festival of flowers, announced the Fat Controller.
00:32This sign saying best rest station will be awarded to the winner.
00:37Please help with the arrangements.
00:40The engines were excited.
00:42My favourite station is Fafarqua, said Thomas.
00:46Mine's Maithwaite, said Toby. Percy, what's yours?
00:49Percy was too tired to think properly. The docks, he murmured.
00:53Huh, sniffed Thomas. We can tell, Toby laughed.
00:57The docks are full of fish, not flowers.
00:59All right then, Arlesdale end, said Percy.
01:02That's my home, replied Toby.
01:05That's why I like it, especially when you're there and not here saying I'm silly.
01:11Good night.
01:14Next morning, Percy was proud to be sparkling again.
01:18His train of trucks were being loaded with vegetables and flowers.
01:21These are for Maithwaite, said his driver. They'll display them on the platform.
01:27On the way, Percy saw Harold.
01:30Why is Harold buzzing about, he puffed. I haven't time for a race today.
01:37What's that? said his driver.
01:39Why, bless me, it's a ram.
01:45Now we'll be late. I should have known that Harold was trying to tell us something.
01:51I've got just the ticket to get him off the track, cried the fireman. Food!
01:57He found some cabbage leaves. The ram chomped happily away.
02:05Please, can we go now?
02:11When Percy arrived at the station, his driver told the station master what had happened.
02:16I've heard about this ram. He's always hungry.
02:20A little while later, the station was decked with flowers.
02:28Maithwaite will definitely win first prize, decided Percy.
02:32He left his coaches and went to a siding where no one could see him.
02:37Time for a snooze, he thought.
02:40But it wasn't.
02:45We'd better see what all that noise is about.
02:48What noise is about? said his driver.
02:50Percy was shocked. Flowers, fruit and vegetables were scattered everywhere.
02:56It's that ram. He's made a meal of the station too.
03:00Then there was trouble.
03:02We can't get into the waiting room, the passengers cried.
03:05Why not? asked the station master.
03:07The ram won't let us.
03:09Everyone looked at the ram, and the ram looked at them.
03:14He's not alone, exclaimed Percy's driver.
03:17Let us out, please, begged the boys. We're very sorry.
03:21Well, look at that, said the station master.
03:24The boys are our culprits, not the ram.
03:27He was just making sure they did no more damage.
03:30We thought it would be fun, but it wasn't.
03:33We'll help put everything back.
03:39A few days later, the Fat Controller invited some of the engines to Maithwaite.

03:52I'm sorry, Toby, whispered Percy.
03:55You made the right choice.
03:57Then the Fat Controller made an announcement.
04:00There is one more prize for our good friend the ram.
04:03Here it is.
04:05I'll eat my hat if you don't like it.
04:07Then, Harold landed.
04:09The wind from his blades blew the Fat Controller's hat off.
04:15Well, said the Fat Controller.
04:18Shamed I wouldn't be able to eat my hat even if I had to.
04:21Everyone laughed, and the only sound from the ram was a contented hiccup.
