WHEN Eden came across Christian on TikTok, she couldn't resist sliding into his DMs and from there, things moved pretty fast. Eden told Love Don't Judge: "Within a week he was in my house and within a day he got my name tattooed on him. About a month after that we got engaged." While the pair are blissfully in love, their relationship has encountered a fair amount of criticism. Christian admitted: "People judge us because my fiancée is trans and I'm straight." And online, the hate is particularly bad. Eden explained: "The biggest misconception people have is that he's gay and I'm a man." Christian's, son, Ashton, also lives with the couple and the trolling continues when it comes to their family dynamic. Christian admitted: "Those comments calling me a bad father are the ones that hurt the most." In this episode of Love Don't Judge, the pair will be calling Christian's dad, Cameron, for an honest conversation. Upon Christian asking his dad if they ever told him that Eden was trans, Cameron revealed, "No!"...

00:00This is Cristian. He fell in love with Eden.
00:04People judge us because my fiance is trans and I'm straight.
00:07I started getting like random hate messages.
00:09Like, I want to live a nice, peaceful life.
00:11That's a man, wife, you mean boyfriend.
00:14Being called a man every four minutes when I check my phone.
00:16It just becomes like numbing.
00:18And all that trash and all that scum, they can all float down to the bottom.
00:21I definitely had some relationships just kind of fizzle out.
00:24Today, Cristian's dad will be revealing what he thinks about the relationship.
00:29Did I ever tell you that Eden's trans?
00:32My name's Cristian. I've lost friends because I'm engaged to my trans fiance, Eden.
00:36So we met two years ago. Cristian's a teacher
00:39and I saw one of his students post a video of him on TikTok.
00:42Um, I don't want to interrupt y'all's conversation.
00:47I'll wait.
00:48Thought he was cute, slid in the DMs.
00:51Within a week, he was in my house.
00:53And within a day, he got my name tattooed on him.
00:57I know in the beginning, like a lot of my family was like,
00:59taken back by our relationship.
01:01I'm not sure it was like you being trans though.
01:02I think it was because like, it happened so fast.
01:05About a month after that, we got engaged.
01:09And a month after that, he moved in with his son.
01:12Yeah, a lot of people just thought it was like for clout.
01:14As soon as Eden slid into my DMs, about two messages later,
01:17we hop on FaceTime and she immediately tells me she's trans.
01:20And like being from Texas, I didn't really know what that,
01:22what that is or what that's about.
01:23I was like, it doesn't bother me, whatever.
01:25Even before you transitioned,
01:26I wouldn't say you're like the most masculine boy I've ever seen,
01:29to be honest with you.
01:30I transitioned around 18, 19.
01:32I've pretty much always known I was different,
01:34but I didn't have the right words to articulate my feelings
01:38until I saw a trans person on TV.
01:40And that's when I realized like, oh my God, like this is me.
01:43A lot has changed, but like I can still see myself in this.
01:47This was probably the last photo you'll see of me as in boy mode.
01:50The dog came out.
01:52This is a point where like if I saw you on Tinder or something,
01:55like I would definitely be swiping right.
01:56You know what I mean?
01:57Like, whew.
01:58Does it feel weird like looking at that
02:00and knowing that that is your, your fiance?
02:03You know, this is not like what I'd be typically physically attracted to.
02:08And physical attraction is really important in relationships.
02:10Like I can tell you have a kind soul.
02:12I went into this relationship super open-minded.
02:15I like her, she's cute.
02:16And then like, I started getting like random hate messages.
02:18And like, I had never experienced something like that.
02:20Like I lived my entire life as a white cis male.
02:23I didn't really get a lot of like random hate.
02:25I was just a TikTok teacher.
02:26Cringe.
02:27I know you did not just call my video cringe
02:29because I've seen the way your mom comments on my video.
02:31Why do people think they can wear crop tops as a teacher?
02:35I agree.
02:35Like, look at this.
02:37I started advocating for LGBT students a lot more.
02:41I do not want your children to be gay.
02:44I do not want your children to be straight.
02:47I want your children to be happy.
02:50People ask very inappropriate questions.
02:52Super out of pocket.
02:53You would never ask these questions in real life.
02:56I can't blame them for being curious.
02:58But I'm not gonna ask a random person about their genitalia.
03:01The biggest misconception people have is that he's gay and I'm a man.
03:06Yes, I know it's okay to be gay.
03:08Of course it is.
03:09But like, you calling me gay insinuates that Eden is a man.
03:13Which is not okay.
03:14If he wants to be with a man, he will go be with a man.
03:17I am getting ready for my photo shoot.
03:21It's a super special photo shoot because it's my first photo shoot with Christian.
03:26We are in my closet.
03:29Got my shoes, my purses.
03:32This bag, it was custom bedazzled.
03:34And I actually just got this bag.
03:37It's a vintage Louis Vuitton bag that I had cleaned.
03:42I had all the leather replaced and made brand new.
03:45So that's where all the money's going.
03:48Bags.
03:48Most of my teaching clothes and stuff like that comes from the thrift shop.
03:52I don't really buy into it too much.
03:54I do wear more pink now.
03:55I've had my influence.
03:56Coming from Texas, a lot of people are not exposed to LGBT trans type people.
04:02I never had anybody like be extremely hateful.
04:05But I definitely had some relationships just kind of fizzle out.
04:09It made me feel like perhaps they didn't love or care for me as much as I thought.
04:13What does that say about your friendship with them?
04:16Yeah.
04:16It's actually a pretty good test.
04:17Tell your friends you're gay or something and see if they still love you.
04:20That means they're good friends.
04:21It would be a really good idea if we call your dad and ask him what he thinks about this.
04:25We've never really had this conversation with him, so.
04:28Yeah, we really don't know.
04:29Dad?
04:30Hello?
04:31Hey, how are you?
04:32I'm good, how are you?
04:34I'm doing well.
04:34You look very handsome.
04:36Well, thank you.
04:38What did you think when I told you about Eden?
04:40I was excited for you.
04:41Did you have any reservations about our relationship?
04:43No.
04:43Reservations about moving out to Los Angeles?
04:46A little bit.
04:47Yeah.
04:48I mean, it's a long way from Texas.
04:50Yeah, that's for sure.
04:51You're kind of a conservative guy, so when I told you that I was moving out to LA,
04:54you were like, oh my god, it's the land of the liberals, right?
04:57I was worried that maybe it was chasing fame.
05:01They would say, you know, fame doesn't last.
05:03Did I ever tell you that Eden's trans?
05:05No.
05:06No.
05:06So I never told my dad that Eden was trans.
05:10We sort of just assumed that you saw the video.
05:13I actually found out that Eden is trans from my sister,
05:17who called me and asked me what my thoughts were about it.
05:21And I said, I hope you guys are happy.
05:22And being trans, that doesn't matter to me, right?
05:26That you guys love each other, that's what matters.
05:28You're a good dad.
05:31And this is why we love you.
05:32Would the online judgment ever stop you from posting?
05:36No.
05:36Absolutely not.
05:38No.
05:39It is fuel.
05:40Bro is 100%.
05:41Like, it's just constant.
05:44Yeah.
05:45We try not to focus on the hate comments.
05:46Lately, I've just been liking them.
05:49I think it makes them more mad.
05:50That's a man.
05:52Wife, you mean boyfriend.
05:53Being called a man every four minutes when I check my phone,
05:56it just becomes like numbing.
05:57We got one the other day where they called us liberal psyops.
06:00They're like, they've got to be paid by the government to push this agenda.
06:03I was like, that's deep, dude.
06:05These kind of videos remind me I am living in the most corrupted society ever in history.
06:10This is the end of the world.
06:12It goes on forever.
06:14Ready?
06:15Yeah.
06:16There's 80,000 comments.
06:17Who gets 80,000 comments?
06:19Gets to do it for eight hours and it will still keep going.
06:22And it's just all bad.
06:32Thank you for coming.
06:34So I was thinking of putting Christian in a black on black look
06:38with a black harness and some chromes and then Eden the doll.
06:42We're going to put her in a bralette.
06:44And these are heavy.
06:45Good quality.
06:46The majority of our recent hate comments are about how we raise Ashton.
06:52Let me see your nails, buddy.
06:54Oh, they look good.
06:56Listen to this comment.
06:57Indoctrinated at a young age to be gay because of his queer parents.
07:01What's new?
07:03Because the kid wore pink.
07:05My son Ashton is five years old and he's a super bubbly little guy.
07:09Buddy.
07:15Life as a stepmom has completely changed my life.
07:18I never in my wildest dreams ever thought I would live with a child.
07:24It's my baby.
07:26Let alone help raise a child.
07:28And I think that's something that not a lot of trans people get to say.
07:31Because we don't go by like, I guess, typical gender norms.
07:34If he wants to wear pink, we don't care.
07:35Like, if he wants to play with a Barbie, we don't care.
07:37Like, he also skateboards, plays video games.
07:39Can I have this?
07:40No, bud.
07:41Of course you can't.
07:42Ashton, no.
07:43You need a pink Barbie cart.
07:45When people see a kid in pink, they're like, oh my god,
07:47you're pushing on the illiberal agenda.
07:49You're making him queer.
07:50In that dress over there.
07:51And your pronouns are they, them.
07:53That's when we get really defensive.
07:55It's one thing to talk about a full grown adult,
07:57but when you're talking about a child,
07:59if you're bullying a child, that is disgusting.
08:02And that's something we don't stand for.
08:04Now, buddy, what do you really want to get?
08:06A Barbie hat.
08:09Those comments calling me a bad father
08:11are the ones that hurt me the most.
08:14You did so good, bub.
08:15I get the biggest sense of fulfillment
08:18when I have someone reach out to me
08:20and tell me that I changed or inspired them,
08:22or I'm the reason they transitioned,
08:24or that I saved their lives.
08:26They look at me for hope.
08:28And for every hate comment that I get,
08:31there's 10 positive ones.
08:32Vijay, you're amazing.
08:34Oh my God.
08:35Couldn't do it without you.
08:38We're very yin and yang.
08:39And on my worst qualities, he really helps manage.
08:44And he really helps bring out the best in me.
08:46I'm also really thankful that Eden came into our life
08:49and she can be that womanly figure
08:51in both my life and in Ash's life.
08:54I hope me showing this part of my life
08:55helps other trans people know that it does get better.
08:58And there's ultimately a light at the end of the tunnel.
09:01And we also deserve the fantasy ending that we all want.
09:05And we're not trying to change anyone's opinion about us.
09:07We're really just trying to show you our authentic selves.
09:11If that isn't enough, then there's nothing else we can do.
09:14But be ourselves.
09:15Then thanks for watching.
09:16Yeah, thanks for watching.
