00:00It was a hot summer's day on the island of Sodor.
00:09The engines were busy taking trucks full of slate from the quarry.
00:15The heat and dust made their axles ache.
00:26We've shunted every truck in the quarry today, we Scarloey.
00:31But I'm too thirsty to feel useful, complained Peter Sam.
00:37The summer sunshine made people thirsty too.
00:41The refreshment lady was keeping very busy at the tearooms.
00:46The next day the fat controller had news for Peter Sam.
00:50The refreshment lady needs a place for another tearoom.
00:53I can find her a beautiful place.
00:57I knew it, it'll be a piece of cake.
01:03Tearooms don't live in cakes.
01:06It's just my way of saying it would be fun and easy to find the right place.
01:17Peter Sam puffed along the woodland way, and the old castle causeway, and the whispering
01:31waterfall.
01:36Thank you Peter Sam, said the refreshment lady, but I don't know what to do, I can't
01:40make up my mind.
01:41What a shame, I can't build a tearoom in each place.
01:46Peter Sam was very disappointed, he didn't feel useful.
01:51That night there was a storm, lightning flashed and thunder crashed, the rain poured down.
02:04All the engines were talking excitedly about the storm, except Peter Sam.
02:09He was thinking about the refreshment lady's tearoom.
02:15The next morning the fat controller came to the sheds.
02:18Peter Sam, I want you to go and help Rusty clear the storm damage.
02:23Yes sir, Peter Sam said, and he hurried away.
02:29At last he thought, he could be really useful.
02:38Peter Sam soon found Rusty, the storm had swept the shed onto the line.
02:45The driver said, this shed is useless now.
02:48It's not a shed, exclaimed Peter Sam, it's an old railway coach, and that gave him an
02:59idea.
03:04Back at the yards his driver spoke to the fat controller, Peter Sam thinks this old
03:09coach could be a tearoom.
03:12I'll have Jim take a look, I'm sure he can repair it, agreed the fat controller.
03:20The fat controller was right, in no time at all the old coach had turned into a tearoom
03:27on wheels.
03:29The refreshment lady could hardly believe her eyes.
03:34Oh, it's beautiful, I told you it'd be a piece of kite, the fat controller paused.
03:42Yes sir, and with many cakes in it I'm sure, then he spoke to Peter Sam, and you shall
03:47pull a tea shop special.
03:50I'd be proud to, replied Peter Sam.
03:58Now the refreshment lady serves tea at all her favourite places, at Woodland Way, the
04:07Old Castle Causeway, and Whispering Waterfall.
04:21Peter Sam is a happy engine.
04:27I told you it would be a piece of cake.
