00:00Agriculture Secretary Francisco Chulaurel Jr. confirmed the outbreak of African Swine Flu or ASF in the province of Batangas but it is only controlled in six countries.
00:14Checkpoints have also been set up for those who are traveling home.
00:19They will allow those who are not infected to go out and those who tested positive will be prohibited.
00:26This will be confirmed in their mass testing.
00:29It is believed that the disease came from pigs that used to be sick, died and buried.
00:35Because of the flood, the disease is now infected with pigs.
00:40The DA is now waiting for the declaration of the State of Emergency to the affected LGUs
00:47to speed up the procurement of vaccines so that the disease of pigs can continue to enter.
00:54But the DA clarified that pigs are still safe to eat and there will be no disease from this.
