00:00The DSWD has reached out to the affected people of Baguio-Christine in the provinces of Isabela and Quirino.
00:06Details on this were reported by Vivian de Guzman of Radyo Pilipinas, Tuguegarao.
00:13After the break of dawn this morning, the action teams of the DSWD continued to distribute relief items,
00:20Kapwa food and non-food items to the affected people of Baguio-Christine,
00:24to the towns of Divilacan, San Agustin, Gamu, City of Ilagan,
00:28and other towns affected by the typhoon in Cabatuan,
00:31the town of Quirino, Rojas, Jones, Pawang, in the province of Isabela,
00:36and Madela and Saguday in Quirino province.
00:39Yesterday, they began to provide assistance.
00:41These towns are part of the total number of affected by the typhoon in Isabela,
00:46of 822 families from 77 barangays in 34 towns.
00:52In Quirino, there are 156 families affected in 11 barangays in 6 of these towns.
00:59According to DSWD Director Lucy Alan,
01:02a total of 121 family food packs and 110 humanitarian assistance or non-food items
01:07were given to Divilacan, Cabatuan, Quirino, Rojas, and Jones.
01:12There are also 26 family food packs and 6 non-food items
01:16were delivered to the towns of Madela and Saguday in the province of Quirino.
01:20This is the food that I gave you, on top of the LGU,
01:24the available goods that you can give.
01:27So now, we have also given a total of 49,443 for the hygiene kits,
01:40the non-food items,
01:42and for the sleeping kit, 139,443,
01:47and for the family clothing kit, this is worth 173,059,
01:55and this is the largest of the family food packs.
01:58The donations are part of the preposition of 33,800 of food and non-food items
02:05in two provinces of Isabela and Quirino, worth 30 million pesos.
