00:00The PTV Balita is here now. The Department of Social Welfare and Development is now ready to go to the places that are expected to be affected by the Nica typhoon.
00:15According to DSWD, their relief effort started last weekend, including distributing food to stranded passengers in Tabaco Port.
00:23All field offices in Cagawaran are also alerted to provide immediate relief augmentation to the LGUs affected by the typhoon.
00:31DSWD spokesperson Irene Dumlao also assured that they will continue to repackage family food packs and other relief supplies for the victims of the calamity.
00:42In our time, the Nica typhoon has already landfalled in the town of Dilasag, Aurora.
00:47The typhoon is the last sign of hope in the far 100 kilometers east-west of Casiguran, Aurora.
00:53It is caused by the strong wind of 130 kilometers near the center and a gust of wind of 180 kilometers per hour.
01:01It moves at a high speed of 15 kilometers per hour.
01:06Signal number 4 is high in the northern part of Aurora, central and southern portion of Isabela, Calinga, Mountain Province, northern portion of Ifugao, central and southern portion of Abra, northern and central portions of Ilocos Sur.
