00:00In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, peace be with you.
00:20We acknowledge the strength and the love of our God, bigger than our fears and our doubts.
00:27Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy.
00:33May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and lead us into healing and
00:39life everlasting.
00:41Let us pray.
00:43O God, protector of those who hope in you, without whom nothing has found foundation,
00:48nothing is holy, bestow in abundance your mercy upon us, and grant that with you as
00:54our ruler and guide, we may use the good things that pass in such a way as to hold
01:00fast even now to those that ever endure.
01:03Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of
01:08the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever.
01:11Amen.
01:25A reading from the prophet Jeremiah.
01:28The Lord said to me, say this word to the peoples.
01:32Tears flood my eyes night and day unceasingly, since a crushing blow falls on the daughter
01:39of my people, a most grievous injury.
01:43If I go into the countryside, there lie men killed by the sword.
01:48If I go into the city, I see people sick with hunger.
01:52When prophets and priests plough the land, they are at their wits' end.
01:59Have you rejected Judah altogether?
02:02Does your very soul revolt at Zion?
02:05Why have you struck us down without hope or cure?
02:09We are hoping for peace, no good came of it.
02:13For the moment of cure, nothing but terror.
02:17Lord, we do confess our wickedness and our father's guilt.
02:22We have indeed sinned against you.
02:24For your name's sake, do not reject us.
02:27Do not dishonor the throne of your glory.
02:30Remember us, do not break your covenant with us.
02:34Can any of the pagan nothings come make it rain?
02:39Can the heavens produce showers?
02:42No, it is you, Lord, all God, you are our hope, since it is you who drew all this.
02:49The word of the Lord.
02:51Thanks be to God.
02:56For the glory of your name, O Lord, deliver us.
02:59For the glory of your name, O Lord, deliver us.
03:03Do not hold the guilt of our fathers against us.
03:07Let your compassion hasten to meet us, for we are in the depths of distress.
03:13For the glory of your name, O Lord, deliver us.
03:17O God, our Savior, come to our help.
03:20Come for the sake of the glory of your name.
03:22O Lord, our God, forgive us our sins.
03:26Rescue us for the sake of your name.
03:29For the glory of your name, O Lord, deliver us.
03:33Let the groans of the prisoners come before you.
03:36Let your strong arm reprieve those condemned to die.
03:40But we, your people, the flock of your pasture, will give you thanks forever and ever.
03:46We will tell your praise from age to age.
03:50For the glory of your name, O Lord, deliver us.
03:55Alleluia, alleluia.
03:57The seed is the word of God.
03:59Christ is the sower.
04:01All who come to him will live forever.
04:04Alleluia.
04:08The Lord be with you.
04:10A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew.
04:15Leaving the crowds, Jesus went into the house, and his disciples came with him.
04:22Explain the parable about the darner and the field to us.
04:27He said in reply, The sower of the good seed is the Son of Man.
04:32The field is the world.
04:35The good seed is the subjects of the kingdom.
04:38The darner the subjects of the evil one.
04:41The enemy who sowed them, the devil.
04:45The harvest is the end of the world.
04:48The reapers are the angels.
04:50Well then, just as the darner is gathered up and burned in the field, so it will be
04:56at the end of time.
04:58The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all things
05:04that provoke offenses and all that do evil, and throw them onto the blazing furnace, where
05:10there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.
05:13Then the virtuous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
05:18Listen, anyone who has ears.
05:22The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
05:25Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
05:29The virtuous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
05:35Of course, no one is virtuous by themselves.
05:39It is the desire of our heart to keep coming back and saying yes, and to let the grace
05:44of God do within us more than we can dream or imagine.
05:49Then we are called to be, indeed, the living reminders of what God can do in weak human nature.
05:56Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have this bread
06:10to offer which earth has given you and hence have made it will become for us the bread
06:15of life.
06:16Blessed be God forever.
06:26Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have this wine
06:36to offer, fruit of the divine work of human hands, it will become a spiritual drink.
06:42Blessed be God forever.
06:52Let us pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God,
06:57our Almighty Father.
06:59May the Lord accept this sacrifice at our hands for the praise and glory of God's name,
07:04for our good and the good of God's holy Church.
07:08Accept, O Lord, we pray, the offerings which we bring from the abundance of your gifts,
07:13that through the powerful working of your grace these most sacred mysteries may sanctify
07:17our present way of life and lead us to eternal gladness, through Christ our Lord, Amen.
07:31The Lord be with you, lift up your hearts, let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
07:39It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you
07:44thanks, Father, most holy, to your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, your Word from whom you
07:50made all things, whom you sent as our Saviour and Redeemer, incarnate by the Holy Spirit
07:55and born of the Virgin, fulfilling your will and gaining for you a holy people.
08:00He stretched out his hands as he endued his passion, so as to break the bonds of death
08:05and manifest the resurrection.
08:08And so, with the angels and all the saints, we declare your glory, as with one voice we
08:13acclaim, Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts, heaven and earth are full of your glory, Hosanna
08:21in the highest, blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, Hosanna in the highest.
08:28You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness, make holy, therefore, these
08:33gifts, we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall, that they may
08:38become for us the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
08:43At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion, he took bread, and giving
08:49thanks, broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and eat of
08:55it, for this is my Body, which will be given up for you.
09:06In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice, and once more giving thanks,
09:12he gave it to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and drink from it, for this
09:17is the chalice of my Blood, the Blood of the new and eternal covenant, which will be poured
09:23out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins.
09:28Do this in memory of me.
09:35The Mystery of Faith
09:38We proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your resurrection until you come again.
09:50Therefore as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection, we offer you,
09:55Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you have held
09:59us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
10:04Humbly we pray that, partaking of the Body and Blood of Christ, we may be gathered into
10:09one by the Holy Spirit.
10:12Remember, Lord, your Church spread throughout the world, and bring her to the fullness of
10:16charity.
10:18Together with Francis our Pope, meet your unworthy servant, Eugene our Emeritus Bishop,
10:24all the clergy who serve your people and your entire family.
10:29Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection,
10:34and all who have died in your mercy.
10:36Welcome them into the light of your face.
10:40Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, Blessed
10:45Joseph, her Spouse, with the Blessed Apostles and all the Saints who have pleased you throughout
10:50the ages, we may, through your grace, merit to be coerced with eternal life, and may praise
10:56and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
11:02Through him, and with him, and in him, O God, Almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy
11:07Spirit, all glory and honour is yours, for ever and ever.
11:12Amen.
11:13With the Saviour's command, and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say,
11:19Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come,
11:24thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
11:27Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who
11:33trespass against us.
11:35And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
11:39Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil.
11:42Graciously grant peace in our days, that by the help of your mercy we may be always free
11:49from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of
11:54our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
11:57For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and for ever.
12:03Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles, Peace I leave you, my peace I give you, look
12:09not on our sins, but on the faith of your Church, and graciously grant her peace and
12:13unity in accordance with your will, who live and reign for ever and ever.
12:18Amen.
12:19The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always, let us offer each other a sign
12:24of peace.
12:25Peace be with you all.
12:28Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.
12:34Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.
12:39Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, grant us peace.
12:49Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, happy are those who are
13:01called to the supper of the Lamb.
13:03Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word, and
13:07my soul shall be healed.
13:10My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
13:15I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul.
13:20Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.
13:26I embrace you as if you were already there, and unite myself wholly to you.
13:31Never permit me to be separated from you.
13:34Amen.
13:35Let us pray.
13:40We have consumed, O Lord, this divine sacrament, the perpetual memorial of the Passion of
13:44your Son.
13:45Grant, we pray, that this gift, which he himself gave us with love beyond all telling, may
13:50profit us for salvation, through Christ our Lord.
13:53Amen.
13:54The Lord be with you, and may the peace and the blessing of the Father and of the Son
13:59and of the Holy Spirit come upon you and remain always with you.
14:02Let us go and live the Gospel.
14:05Thanks be to God, and God bless your day.
