00:00Dryer, brighter, warmer conditions is the overall trend for the weather over the next
00:05few days, but not everywhere.
00:08Saturday sees cloudier skies, showery rain spreading eastwards across parts of the north
00:12and west of the UK. So in between sunny swells there will be some showers for Scotland, for
00:18northern England, Wales and the Midlands, some of which will be heavy and thundery and
00:22slow moving, especially across parts of northern England.
00:26However further south and east it looks mostly fine and dry, with the strong sunshine and
00:31the light winds. There will be temperature highs up to 23 degrees celsius in the south
00:36east, whereas only up to 19 degrees celsius in the north.
00:39Sunday is the driest day of the weekend, although there will be somewhat cloudier skies across
00:44parts of Northern Ireland, the south and west of Scotland and the northern isles of Scotland
00:48where the odd light isolated shower is possible. Elsewhere, mainly dry, lots of sunshine and
00:54overall a warmer day with temperatures up into the mid-twenties.
00:58For next week, it continues fine and settled and very warm, in fact quite hot across southern
01:03areas of the UK, whereas further north will be cloudier with spells of rain and cooler
01:07conditions. For further details and the forecast of where you are, head to yourweather.co.uk
