00:00Well it's been a hot one for parts of the UK this week so will the heat hold
00:04on for the weekend? Well you're in the right place to find out. So Saturday
00:08starts off mostly fine and bright across many central and eastern parts of the UK
00:12with the best of the sunshine and the warmth across the Far East. Meanwhile out
00:17towards the West, cloudy and wet conditions with some heavy downpours of
00:21rain especially across parts of Northern Ireland, the West of Wales and South
00:24West England. Now that rain will be moving its way erratically eastwards
00:28through the day with some heavy downpours still likely particularly
00:31across parts of Northern England. Further south and there could be the risk of
00:34some thunderstorms for parts of East Anglia and the southeast. However Eastern
00:38England will still be very warm, locally hot with temperatures close to 30
00:42degrees Celsius. Elsewhere highs of around 16 to 21 degrees Celsius. Through
00:48Saturday night that rain clears away eastwards so Sunday looks like a drier
00:52day but it will feel cooler and fresher with hazy spells of sunshine. It will be
00:57mostly dry as I mentioned but there will be the risk of a few light
01:00scattered showers around central and western parts of Scotland and for parts
01:04of Northern Ireland and early on there may be some thunderstorms across parts
01:08of East Anglia and the southeast but they should diminish later in the day.
