00:00If I cannot wait for the stock report today, I'm so excited.
00:03I just, I cannot wait.
00:04I, I'm, I, you know, people are out here.
00:08We're worried about what Tua's going to do.
00:09I really am just excited.
00:11Cause I want to know, can Cam Smith build off of yesterday?
00:15Can Chop Robinson build off of yesterday?
00:17Whose stock will be up and whose stock will be down?
00:20All I care about is let's, let's, let's get a little physicality.
00:24Let's put the pads on because you got to see how Chop Robinson's going to
00:27handle hands really being put on him.
00:30That's true.
00:30You know what I'm saying?
00:31So I'm going to be a boots on the ground on Sunday.
00:34I'm going to go.
00:35Where are you going?
00:36Yeah.
00:37Boots on the ground.
00:38I thought about it.
00:39I usually go once or twice a year, but it's too hot.
00:43Well, it ain't in Davie anymore.
00:44And I got, and I got, no, that's no, it's just right there for me.
00:48I can just operate on.
00:49But, um, the problem is got a golf tournament this weekend.
00:56And the trigger figure is fixed.
01:01Are you teaming up with, uh, with our boy Lou?
01:04No, no, no.
01:05It's a, um, the Broward amateurs this weekend.
01:09Ah, of course the BA, uh, Mike McDaniel has just addressed the media.
01:17This is, uh, the dolphins head coach on the plan with Tua for today.
01:23So, uh, we didn't observe him do anything yesterday.
01:26Was that veteran day of rest or was that part of his hold in?
01:30And what do you expect today?
01:31No, there's a, you know, the nothing's changed really, um, from that standpoint
01:36and how we're, uh, collectively approach and practice, um, the, uh, as far as
01:42today, I do think, I, I do think you'll observe, um, him playing football
01:48in a multitude of fashions.
01:50Do you guys talk every day about the plan for the day, or
01:54is there a plan for the week?
01:55How do you do that?
01:56Every day, you know, I think it's important to assess all variables.
02:01Um, take into consideration, uh, everyone involved as the head coach.
02:06And so, you know, you'd love to get in front of it, but there's a lot of days
02:10and that, uh, if you're trying to extrapolate that a lot of days that you
02:16can't account for different way, the wind blows.
02:19So, um, every day, uh, assessing exactly what we're doing, um, because
02:24we're trying to do good jobs here.
02:27Well, I appreciate everybody trying to do a good job.
02:30Y'all see, here's the thing.
02:35I can sense the, just annoying behavior of Mike McDaniel.
02:43He's answering like in his way, like when he answers short and just ends it
02:50like he's getting annoyed by it.
02:51Of course.
02:52Right.
02:52He is.
02:53And I don't blame him.
02:54But at the same time, he's trying to be a good soldier about it too.
03:01Right.
03:01So, and, and, and here's, here's the dip and here's why I wish Vlad was here.
03:07Right.
03:08Ouch.
03:09The way, no, the way his coach went after his quarterback for missing a couple of
03:15days in the way Mike McDaniel handles this situation, he ain't throwing nobody
03:22under the bus, right?
03:24He's trying not to, he's trying not to, but Sala just, but it is, look, as much
03:35as Mike McDaniel is fun, loving and a different guy, he is still a football
03:39coach and he is, and he is meticulous and he does want things run his way.
03:43And I'm sure he is sick of the, you know, getting a lot of your hands.
03:49I don't know.
03:50I mean, there is, there is nothing here.
03:54There is nothing at this point that Mike McDaniel could say that would get it done.
04:05But there was a lot that Mike McDaniel would say that could piss some people off.
04:11What if bosses or his star player?
04:16So it's, but at this point, at this point for him, isn't it more important
04:23for him to back his player than his bosses?
04:26Yes.
04:27So here's why, because there has been no person in this world that has
04:32supported tour more than Mike McDaniel.
04:36And if ever he gives any inclination that he doesn't support him as much as he has.
04:45Then that could affect what to it does on the field.
04:50I'm thinking about this.
04:50Cause the, the, the fans get to go out for the first time on Sunday.
04:54So two, uh, he balls out a couple of days.
04:56He gets that orange Jersey, then he controls the playlist.
04:59And I go back to D Wade's contract standoff back with the Miami heat, where
05:03on Snapchat he would play Rihanna's bitch, but I have my money.
05:07And so if he gets to control the playlist, we could just, uh, we can hear Rihanna.
05:11As soon as everybody comes out of the tunnel.
05:15Well, or do you feel like they wouldn't negate the playlist?
05:18It was a jab.
05:20Can't can't negate the playlist.
05:22Can't negate the rules.
05:23That was the rules.
05:24So he goes, they could come at him with.
05:28We can't have that kind of vulgar, you know, music on the thing.
05:33We say, well, I'll play the clean version.
05:40He goes, oh no, no, no.
05:41We've, uh, we've, we've replaced a bitch with the word.
05:43Fins better have my money.
05:49And there wouldn't be something about if all the, all the fans start cheering.
05:52Yeah, well, I am curious.
05:54I am very curious.
05:55Uh, you know, like what is going to be the fan reaction, especially if he's not
06:00acting like, I feel like if he goes out there and in front of the fans, I don't
06:04know what the better approach is not playing or throwing a bomb ski, probably
06:07throwing a bomb ski, but then all of a sudden everybody goes pay to pay to,
06:12you know, like, here's the problem.
06:15If the organization has supported to and handle this first two years, right.
06:23And we were to this point, I'd be more inclined to agree with them.
06:28Right.
06:29But part of the reason why two isn't farther along is because the way
06:35they handled to his first two years.
06:38And so then you can't turn around and then put that on him.
06:43Right.
06:43It was, it's like, and, and so, you know, and I wonder why any organization does
06:51this and people have been around football as long as all these people had no, the
06:57process of developing a player and what have you, and for people to just think
07:07that after two or three years, as a quarterback, you supposed to know when
07:14you come right into the lead playing at the next, at the highest level, right?
07:19You're learning on the fly.
07:21You're getting, you're taking your bumps and bruises in game time situations.
07:26Now add injury into that.
07:28Right.
07:29And so you can go back and use whatever excuse you want for tour.
07:35Fans can say, well, he hasn't won a big game.
07:38Well, hell hasn't nobody won a big game in 20 plus years here.
07:42So at what point are you going to give a guy a chance to do it?
07:46Was he supposed to do it right away?
07:49Well, I mean, like, that's what I don't get.
07:51Well, it's also like, this is going to be such a joyless season if
07:54we're going to go through this.
07:55And it's like, I can't, and I kind of, it kind of feels that way.
08:00Like it feels almost, you know, I feel like everybody was so amped for last
08:03year and I don't know that just, it feels like now it's back to, because
08:06it was such a heartbreaking and then listen, they had a part in it.
08:09They blew it last year.
08:11Yeah.
08:11Uh, yes.
08:12There was some very, very bad luck too, but ultimately like we were all
08:16riding high in the middle of that year.
08:18You had the one seat in hand, you had the AFC East in hand
08:21and you yacked all over yourself.
08:23And I feel like the trickle down has been, man, everybody just feels so.
08:29But like lifeless going into this year, can I, can I, can I.
08:33Here's the point in time where the organization has to sit back, evaluate
08:43the end of last year and, and come up with some honest answers.
08:48Why did this happen?
08:51Right.
08:52More so than we do more so than the fans do, because now we're sitting back
08:58looking as if we don't understand what happened last year with everybody being
09:04broken down, like, like that didn't matter.
09:07And so we have this conversation all the time when I say, if I'm a player and I'm
09:13not a hundred percent, I would question whether I should play because you're
09:17going to get graded as if you didn't try to suck it up and give whatever you can.
09:22And if you don't play fancy, well, why don't you give us something?
09:25This is why.
09:27Situations like this, that, that team was diminished to a level where it made them.
09:35It made it difficult for them to be the team that we saw in the middle of the season.
09:40Now get it.
09:43It goes to the quarterback.
09:44I get that.
09:45We can do that.
09:47Fans can do that, but not the organization.
09:50They should have the real reasons why it didn't work out for sure.
09:54And what they're doing is they're basically putting it all on two and two.
