Tua was voted number 2 overall by his peers in regards to overrated players in the NFL. The guys quibble on Stephen Ross' comments about the Fins securing a playoff victory. Leroy finds a way to quibble about whether or not he is quibbling over quibbling.

00:00You know what's crazy? I was just talking to Zach in the hallway and we were
00:09talking about Tua. He had a 25-minute conversation with Dan Olofsky
00:19who loves Tua. And I would try to I try to explain to him I said I
00:25explained to people do you understand what separates Tua from all the other
00:31quarterbacks? Being adorable. One, he gets rid of the ball quick. Two, he's very
00:37accurate. And three, he throws the ball where only a handful of quarterbacks
00:43have had success and that is the middle of the football field. And if you guys
00:49think anybody can do that, you're crazy. Do you know that a list came out of the
00:56most overrated quarterbacks in the league? Oh he's top five overrated. I'm
01:01more than sure somebody put him on that list. Oh he was number two. Right. Who's
01:06number one? Herbert. No. Josh Allen. According to the players. And let me tell you why.
01:15Right? Only by one vote though. And here's what's crazy about that. So they
01:25don't think Trevor Lawrence is overrated. They don't think Herbert is underrated.
01:30Right? They don't think you know a lot of these guys are overrated. That being said
01:37they must think it's easy to lead the league in passing. They must. Like even if
01:43you base it on numbers, how can you be overrated? Like he actually produced for the record
01:51a Herbert and Jacksonville Jaguars, a Trevor Lawrence. He was next in the list. The list
01:55is a, they got 103 players to vote. 11 pick Josh Allen, 10 pick Jalen hurts and to a tongue
02:06of Iowa. So each got 10 votes. So they're tied for second. Then Justin Herbert at nine
02:11and Lawrence had eight followed by Deshaun Watson was seven and then Kyler Murray and
02:17Brock pretty each got six. So let me respond to this. Leroy, no more excuses. 2.3 release
02:25and accurate still at his best. We didn't win the division. We move forward. No more
02:31living in the past. I'm like, what does that skill set and his ability have to do with
02:39how many games they won? Those abilities are still there. Right? Right. So if you,
02:46and this is, this is where, this is where sometimes we get so caught up in this, right?
02:54And fans are quick to say, let's just go find another one. Do you guys think that two is
02:59more nationally overrated or underrated though? Cause I feel like he gets more, I think he
03:03gets like, no matter what it does, they trash him. And I feel like he gets disrespected
03:08more than he does. I feel like he gets disrespected more than he does overly praised. I'm a little
03:12surprised that the players have him that high. Like I think Justin Herbert definitely gets
03:17more flowers than he does. And I think that Trevor Lawrence, I mean, who's ever had a
03:21bad take about Trevor Lawrence. He's never dealt with any, any, any national criticism.
03:25And this is what, and this is what I would say. And, and can I just say this players
03:32are more inclined to call somebody who they turn on the TV and hear about all the time
03:39overrated. So when every conversation on tour on TV is about tour, then they just deemed
03:48that overrated. Why are we talking about him so much? It has nothing to do with his ability.
03:53I promise you that. Now here's what we were talking about yesterday. I don't want to hear
03:59Jack bleep about 20 of our 53 questionable for week one. We got what we got. Yeah. Right.
04:05See, I told you, are you talking about, is that a comment or you're saying that? No,
04:09that's what cap for life is saying. Oh, I got you. But, but that's, that's like, you're
04:14not, you know, there's reasons and excuses. A reason is different than excuse. No one's
04:23getting, first of all, I guys, the season hasn't started yet. Like nobody's making
04:28excuses off the bat of the season. We all think that the dolphins have very high expectations
04:32and trust if they don't want to play off game, I think someone's going to, someone is going to pay
04:36for that. Like Steven Ross put it out there already. Yeah, absolutely. If, unless there
04:41are catastrophic injuries, Leroy, no, I'm saying like, and that means that means Uno's out or Tyree
04:48kills done for the year. Like I was banged up at the end. I understand that he was banged up. I'm
04:52talking about this. Okay. But nobody, but nobody got, here's the thing. Nobody organizationally
04:58took any heat for that. Everybody got paid this off season. Everybody got rewarded this off season.
05:05So the owner has laid out what he expects. And I think they're fair expectations.
05:10He didn't say he expects anything. He said we, he thinks they're contenders.
05:15You're, you're, you're being a semantic Samurai there. No, I'm not. You are. No, I'm not. There's
05:20a big difference in saying, I, I, I think we'll be contenders and saying, I expect us to win a
05:25playoff. Do you think if this roster is healthy? Okay. And I'm talking about the stars,
05:29talking about the stars of the team. Do you think it's Steven Ross expects them to win a
05:33playoff game? Yes. Yes. But he didn't say that. Okay. No, but when you're asking me to comment
05:39on what he said, no, I'm commenting on what he said. Is that not what he said? What did he say?
05:48He said it in a nice way. No. What did he say?
05:53Not what you think he meant. What he said, if healthy, we should get 10 for the super bowl.
05:59Okay. That's not any saying we expect to win a playoff game. We expect to win too. He did not
06:06say that. He didn't say you're saying what you think he meant. He didn't say the quiet part
06:12out loud, but he said it. I'm commenting on what he said. Okay. But what, okay. So what do you
06:19think that means? Like, it's the nice way of saying do it or else again, you're taking comments. I
06:28love when you do this. This is what he meant. Okay, dude. I'm taking the comments based on what
06:33he said. We're quibbling. I mean, this is ridiculous. It's not quibbling. If your owner
06:42tells you, I expect them to be super bowl contenders. If healthy, how is, you don't,
06:46you don't think that's also coming with the baggage of you better with a playoff game.
06:52You're assuming what he meant. I'm not, how do you contend for a super bowl though?
06:56You got to win a playoff. Right? Sure. So if I expect to contend for the super bowl,
07:02not win the super bowl, not even make the super bowl contend, I got to win one playoff game.
07:09Ryan Tompkins says two is actually underrated. If the national perception is he's 12 to 15,
07:13he's real in reality, a top eight. Wow. What a fair comment. Wow. That was really nice.
07:18Get out of here. Ryan Tompkins with your reasonability.
07:25Hey, Dave South. There you go. Y'all quibble on whether you're quibbling or not.
07:31You are quibbling. I'm not. You are. I take people for what they say. Not what I think they meant.
07:37Nobody takes things for what they say less than you. You're the guy who always says when somebody
07:42says something like what, like you, you hose down Mario Chris ball for what he said. Yeah,
07:50because he came up with some, he came up with some reason as to why it wasn't his fault that
07:57they ran a ball with his main guy yelling, take a day. I don't have to read into that.
08:05We know whose fault it was. All that stuff falls on the head coach. Is that not accurate? It does.
08:12Okay. And then he talks about the process that we ignored. No, not we you.
08:19Cause again, all that falls to the head coach. Is that accurate? It's accurate. That's it.
08:27Yeah. Headlines. My, I heard from trying to wink.
08:34Did you like that? We got to, uh, interview rat tattooing.
08:39Every time we have a press conference with the head coach of the
08:46red tattoo.
