00:00Mr. Speaker, the American people deserve to know whether or not the President of the United
00:08States is fully capable of performing his duties.
00:12After his cringeworthy debate performance, numerous public appearances, and even small
00:17private gatherings, many have concluded that he is not.
00:22However, the President's doctor stated in a routine physical assessment almost five
00:26months ago in February that President Biden, quote, fully executes all of his responsibilities
00:34without any exemptions or accommodations, close quote.
00:38Mr. Speaker, how can someone who needs pictures of what a podium and a stage are fully execute
00:46all of his responsibilities without any exemptions or accommodation?
00:52That's the question House Republicans are asking by calling on the President's doctor
00:57to participate in a transcribed interview before the House Committee on Oversight and
01:03Accountability.
01:04Additionally, House Republicans are determined to receive the audio tapes from the President's
01:10interview with Special Counsel Robert Herr.
01:13Yes, this is the same interview where Special Counsel Herr decided not to charge the President
01:19for his mishandling of classified documents because they were worried the President would,
01:25quote, present himself to a jury as he did during our interview of him as a sympathetic,
01:34well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory, close quote.
01:39Make no mistake, Mr. Speaker, our country is in serious danger.
01:44Our enemies are watching the President let in millions of illegal immigrants at our southern
01:50border.
01:51They're watching as he fumbles his way through interviews where the questions are written
01:57by his staff beforehand.
02:00This is a constitutional crisis.
02:03Each administration official, campaign staffer, congressional Democrat, or members of the
02:10press who have shielded the President's condition from the American public is complicit in a
02:16cover-up that is causing our country great pain.
02:21Enough is enough, Mr. Speaker.
02:25It's time to restore accountability and respectability for this White House and the American people.
02:32It's the least the Tennesseans I serve back home deserve.
02:36A President of the United States capable of doing the job.
02:41Thank you, Mr. Speaker, and I yield back.
