00:00Thank you Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, last month more than 170,000 illegal immigrants crossed

00:16at our southern border. More than the populations of Pennsylvania counties from Mifflin, Perry,

00:23Juniata, Fulton, and Bedford counties combined crossed last month. Instead of securing our border

00:32and protecting our sovereignty, President Biden has systematically destroyed the border security

00:38measures put in place by President Trump. By ending the Remain in Mexico policy, by instituting

00:47procedures to alas for mass asylum, and allowing those suspected connections to terrorisms to enter

00:55into our country, President Biden has put every American family at risk. Pennsylvania families

01:04and no American can afford the costs and the risks of an open border. It is time to pass

01:11legislation that fully funds our border patrol and equips with the personnel, the tools, and the

01:21training that they need to confront the crisis that continues to this day at our southern border.

01:30Mr. Speaker, as adversaries like Russia and North Korea continue to forge new relationships and as

01:43Iranian-backed terrorists continue to attack our ships in the Middle East, it has become so clear

01:50that President Biden's weak and ineffective foreign policy has failed the American people.

01:57From the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan to the inability to stop Chinese-led cyber attacks,

02:05President Biden has shown time and time again that he is not able to do the work that is required

02:12of the Commander-in-Chief. We know that weakness only invites aggression, and under President

02:19Trump's leadership, our nation was respected on the world stage. It is time to fulfill our

02:25commitment to creating a nation that is safe and to provide our military with the support needed

02:32to protect, train, equip, and adequately pay our service members. We cannot protect our nation

02:41with failed leadership, and we cannot keep Americans safe while President Biden continues

02:47to fail in his duty to deter our adversaries. Thank you, Mr. Speaker, and I yield.
