00:57Hello everyone, I'm Mike O'Malley.
00:59Welcome to the Extreme Arena, home of Nickelodeon Guts,
01:02the action sports show where kids live out
01:04their greatest sports fantasies.
01:07Today our players will be competing in four outrageous events,
01:09and after that they'll get a chance of
01:10tackling our radical rock, the Aggro Crack,
01:14where almost anything can happen.
01:16The player with the most points at the end of all of our events is the winner.
01:20And he or she will be able to take home a glowing piece of our awesome rock.
01:25Now remember, all of our events here on Guts are specifically designed with our players' safety in mind.
01:30Our players will be wearing safety equipment.
01:32And we'll have a professional stunt director and stunt spotters with them at all times.
01:36So please, don't try this at home.
01:38Now think about facing the defense of an entire championship lacrosse team.
01:43You're playing attack, and you've got to score.
01:45Well, how?
01:46Well, here on Guts, you've got an elastic cord on your back so you can leap right over them.
01:51Let's go to our referee, Moira Quirk, for the rules.

01:54Hey there, Mike.
01:55At the sound of my whistle, all three players will have 60 seconds to score as many goals as possible.
02:00Players must bounce on the ground before they shoot, and the player with the most goals wins.

02:06All right, so our players on top of that aerial bridge, ready to go at our first event here on our competition on Guts today.

04:28Speedy Adam Zatorski is an all-sports star.
04:31With 12 baseball trophies, 10 basketball trophies, and a ton of track ribbons, Speedy is always on top.
04:37For Adam, guts equals outrageous.

04:44And Speedy is going to get a little outrageous in our next event.
04:47It's called Wild Pitch.
04:49It's going to help our players appreciate the use of batting helmets.
04:52Not to mention Nolan Ryan, Roger Clemens, and Greg Maddox all hurling wild pitches at your head.
04:58Well, our players got a bat in this event.

05:02Mike, each of our players will have 45 seconds to hit as many balls as possible.
05:06They must stay in their designated area, and the player with the most hits wins.

07:25We're at the Extreme Arena getting ready for our next event, but right now it is time again for Spill Your Guts.
07:30Trey Trickster Keeley is a 12-year-old soccer star.
07:34When Trey isn't working his magic on the competition, he's skating or jumping into pools.
07:39The Trickster Guts equals breaking new ground.
07:43This will be some new ground for our players in this next event.
07:46It's Guts on wheels.
07:47We call it Blade Runners.
07:49Our players are going to be picking up some super-duper speed in an in-line skating race through some pretty hairy obstacles.
07:54They're going to start here at the Limbo Bars, and then after that make it around our second turn as they go into the Frantic Flags.
08:01Making it through the Frantic Flags, they've got to make it then through the Sack Attack.
08:04And after they barrel through those sacks, they're going to come through the Car Wash, underneath the Car Wash,
08:09around our final turn, up the Bump and Dump Ramp as they come across the finish line.
08:14Let's go to Mo for the rules, Mo.
08:16Well, Mike, each player will negotiate our track.
08:18They'll race around our track.
08:20Players must negotiate each obstacle before moving on to the next one,
08:23and time penalties will be added for any violations.

08:29All right, well, Speedy Adam is first, and look at this man out of the starting box
08:34as he comes underneath the Limbo Bars and attacking those flags.

08:41Underneath the Car Wash, cleaning his roller blades as he comes across the finish line right there.

09:20He's hesitant as he comes up the Bump and Dump and across the finish line.
09:27And a little bit slow as he came across that finish line.

11:16When Gadget isn't making herself useful on the softball field,

11:29Over the top, our players will be setting them loose on our High Jump Bar.

18:22Folks, we got a tie score and this is what it all comes down to here on the aggro crag.
18:27That aggro crag always growing.
18:30Now the race begins at Boulder Canyon.
18:32Our six-foot rock ledge.
18:33And our players can trigger obstacles like floods, avalanches, snow storms, loose ledges, rolling rocks.
18:40And all that smoke all while they try to climb to the top of the peak first.
18:45The sound and fury of a living, breathing mountain.
18:49Ready to challenge our players with all the guts they've got.
18:53Let's go to Mo for the rules.
18:55Mike, players will start at the sound of my whistle.
18:58Each player has an identical side of the mountain to climb and may not cross into another player's path.
19:03Now during their climb, our players must light up each of eight targets located on their side of the crag.
19:09The first player to activate all of the targets, including the final one, at the peak of the mountain will receive first place points.

19:17All right, Mo.
19:18So our final chapter here on guts will be who will hit the final actuator first.
19:24Let me remind you that in this event, the points have skyrocketed.
19:28Third place being worth 375 points.

19:36All day long, our players have been competing head to head, each of them taking a first place finish.
