00:00Hello everyone, I just watched Cinderella's Curse, and I'm like, they already made a Cinderella
00:10movie, because now all these movies are open to make horror movies.
00:14You know, like Winnie the Pooh, all the fairy tales, like Little Red Riding Hood, all these
00:24things are open to make a horror movie from now.
00:27Now, that being said, they've already did Cinderella, Cinderella Revenge, but that was
00:33more of a comedy thing, and I did a separate review on that, so you can check that separate
00:39review of that review, but this review is about Cinderella's Curse.
00:44Now it only has a 3.5 on IMBD.
00:48That kind of surprises me, because it is actually not a bad movie for what it is.
00:54Yes, they overuse the theme music quite a bit actually, that kind of irritates me quite
01:01a bit, but the main actress, Cinderella, is really good in this, and she was also in Winnie
01:08the Pooh Blood and Honey 2, and there was also this young actor that was also in this,
01:15and he was in Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey 1, and he was in this too, and this was his
01:22second movie, but they should have used that young boy more.
01:25He wasn't in there as much as I would have liked him.
01:28I can't wait to see what else that young boy is going to be in though, because I really
01:33liked him in this.
01:35Now, Cinderella has done other movies.
01:39I never really watched her acting before, but she's incredible in this film.
01:45She's a very good actress, and the evil stepmother, oh, oh, the evil in this, and what they do
01:55to Cinderella, oh, it's just sickening, because this is a really horror movie.
02:03Now they have a book, an Evil Dead book, kind of like the Evil Dead movies.
02:10I didn't, they could have went a different route, you know, a lot of these horror movies
02:14always come out with this evil book, and they didn't have to for Cinderella.
02:19They could have came up with something a little bit different, but it's called Cinderella's
02:24Curse, and originally I thought it was going to be a time loop, that every morning she
02:28wakes up and she gets tortured, she goes to the ball, she gets tortured, she goes to the
02:33ball, and then finally she has to find a way to break the loop.
02:36I thought that would have been kind of interesting, and it would have justified saying Cinderella's
02:41Curse, because there's really no curse here.
02:44I think the only reason why they couldn't say Cinderella's Revenge is because it was
02:49already done.
02:51And there's also another scene too, that they should have not put in there.
02:58If they didn't put a certain scene in there with the prince, you wouldn't have known something
03:03you wouldn't have known something later on, and it would have been more of a surprise.
03:08I'm not truly giving away anything, because they've kind of given it away, because they
03:13showed the prince too early in the film, that I thought was a wrong thing to do.
03:19But there's also other servants that get the stepmother gets really nasty to, and there's
03:26a scene at the beginning that's a little dark, but overall it was good, and it was entertaining.
03:33The director did a good job.
03:36I did like the way the director did it, and the writing was well done.
03:42The writing was actually really well done.
03:44The dialogue was fantastic, except for that one scene that should have been taken out
03:48with the prince, and the overall music.
03:51The theme music was good, but overused, a little few dark scenes, and a little too flashy.
03:59My friend wouldn't have been able to watch it.
04:01These flashes definitely would have given him a seizure for sure.
04:06I don't know why they're using flashy scenes nowadays, but now the story is simple.
04:11As Cinderella gets tortured, now she has three wishes that appear for her, because she finds
04:20this evil book.
04:24Now she takes revenge, and man does she take revenge.
04:29That's horrifying.
04:30The revenge is horrifying.
04:34Oh, she slaughters and dices, and it's like whoa, and the ending is really well done.
04:41Overall, it's a gory movie.
04:45Good kills, good dialogue, and I overly all enjoyed it, and I wouldn't mind seeing the
04:53actors again.
04:54That being said, the beginning of 3.5 on IBM kind of saddens me.
04:59I wouldn't give it that high either, a 6.5 out of 10, so I would definitely give it a
05:056.5 out of 10.
05:07I would have given it higher if they didn't overuse the theme music a lot, and they may
05:12have used the boy a little bit more, and they took the scene out with the prince earlier
05:18on.
05:20I probably would have given it an 8.
05:24I liked it, and I liked the director.
05:26I can't wait to see what the director will do again, because she definitely directed
05:30something good here, and the kills and all that were excellent.
05:34So Cinderella Curse, everybody, a 6.5 out of 10 to me.
05:39I don't want to say any two more, but you already kind of know the Cinderella story,
05:43but this is a very dark Cinderella story, darker than Cinderella Revenge.
05:48Let's just put it that way.
