America's Collapse and Russia's Preparations

For the first time ever, the USA is no longer listed in the top ten nations when it comes to global competitiveness. Reasons include lack of social cohesiveness, a polarized political landscape, a slow-moving legislative process, debt, sanctions policies, and immorality. While US President Barack Obama had very cordial relations with Russia in late 2012, that changed afterwards after then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton tried to push aspects of the LGBTQ+ agenda on Russia. After Russia's Sergey Lavrov would not accept such interference in its internal affairs, the USA turned against Russia in many ways. The Washington Post, New York Times, and Wall Street Journal reported that the USA, through its Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), supported the anti-Russian forces in Ukraine against its pro-Russian president in 2014 and supported assassinations, Neo-Nazi Ukrainians, and paramilitary actions against pro-Russian Ukrainians thereafter. Because of USA actions, Russian President Vladimir Putin began a series of actions, starting with the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union, and then more involving the BRICS nations to separate Russia from the West. He also moved towards de-dollarization and the accumulation of gold as he and other Russian leaders see that the USA is setting itself up for collapse because of its bullying tactics, increasing debt, and various monetary policies. Some assert that Russia will be in the best position when America collapses. Steps away from the petrodollar by Saudi Arabia and others are putting the US dollar at greater risk for collapse. Is the USA's reliance and promotion of oppression and perversity prophesied factors in its coming destruction? Dr. Thiel and Steve Dupuie discuss these matters and more.

00:00This is Steve Dupuy for the Bible News Prophecy Program with Dr. Bob Thiel.
00:08Dr. Thiel, the U.S. is facing many problems, two of which are the economy and our relationship
00:13with Russia.
00:15Please discuss these two issues with us today.
00:17Well, starting with the economy, I saw a headline yesterday, the United States drops out of
00:21global competitiveness top 10 for the first time ever.
00:25Basically, it says, because of lack of social cohesion, adaptability and agility, the United
00:31States, along with the polarized political landscape and slow moving legislative process,
00:38is dropping out.
00:39Now, the U.S. held the top number one position from 1997 to 2009.
00:45It dropped to number 30 in 2017.
00:48But in 2024, it's out of the top 10.
00:51The top six economies in 2024, by the way, according to the survey, are in Europe.
00:57Has this had a negative impact on the U.S. population?
01:02Yes, it's political polarization, lack of social cohesion, it's debt, sanctions,
01:11bullying policies that push other nations to take protective actions,
01:15and it's pushing for immorality is also setting up for its downfall.
01:20Also, in late 2012, U.S. President Barack Obama was getting along well with Russia.
01:29But then Hillary Clinton, and I've got this from her book, Hard Choices, when she was
01:34Secretary of State, she went to Russia and she pushed the LGBTQ agenda.
01:39Her counterpart over there, she said, who was normally nice, turned nasty and basically said,
01:45we allow homosexuality, but we will not promote it.
01:49We can't do this stuff.
01:50Don't bother us, our internal affairs.
01:52Well, from then on, the relationship with Russia went downhill.
01:58Now, Hillary Clinton bragged about her use of soft power.
02:02A lot of countries have considered that to be bullying.
02:05And the bullying by the U.S., by Hillary Clinton to persuade Russia, didn't do so.
02:12So that didn't work.
02:13United States did other steps against Russia.
02:16In hindsight, perhaps a better title for Mrs. Clinton's book would have been
02:20Bad Decisions rather than Hard Choices.
02:23How did Russia respond to the steps taken by the U.S.?
02:27Saw another headline yesterday, Putin's master plan for the collapse of America.
02:32The startling move, Russia's President Putin has been quietly steering away
02:37from the global liberal order for years, foreseeing a looming catastrophe.
02:41Russian economist, Sergey Lazarev, revealed how Putin's strategies, starting with the
02:46formation of the Eurasian European Union in 2014, aims to create a new power center to
02:51rival the United States.
02:54He warns of the economic collapse imminent to the United States due to its unsustainable
03:00of financial practices.
03:04Now, I said the United States was doing some stuff to Russia.
03:08I said the United States was doing some stuff to Russia.
03:11Well, that article didn't mention that the U.S. supported a coup against the pro-Russian
03:16Ukrainian president in 2013 and 2014.
03:20Here's something from the Washington Post.
03:22Since 2015, the CIA has spent millions of dollars to transform Ukraine's Soviet foreign
03:28services into potent allies against Moscow.
03:32CIA-Ukraine collaboration took root in the aftermath of the 2014 political protests that
03:38prompted Ukraine's pro-Russian president, Viktor Yanukovych, to flee the country, which
03:45was followed by Russia's annexation of Crimea.
03:50Now, despite the claims about supporting democracy, the United States supported the
03:54coup against Ukraine's democratically elected president.
03:58Now, the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, had some things about this.
04:02It said that what happened between Russia and Ukraine in 2022 was actually provoked.
04:10The Times wrote, towards the end of 2021, according to a European official, Putin was
04:17weighing whether to launch his full-scale invasion.
04:20And he met with one of the heads of Russia's main spy services, who told him that the CIA
04:27together with Britain's MI6 were controlling Ukraine and turning it into a beachhead for
04:31operations against Moscow.
04:36Wall Street Journal said, this report demonstrates that this Russian intelligence assessment
04:41was absolutely true.
04:42For more than a decade, dating back to 2014, the CIA was building up training and arming
04:48Ukrainian intelligence and paramilitary forces who were engaging in assassinations and other
04:53provocations against pro-Russian forces in eastern Ukraine, against Russian forces in
04:58Crimea, and across into the border of Russia itself.
05:03That the USA was involved in staging a coup in Ukraine is a stunning revelation.
05:09Was there more to the article?
05:11Oh, yeah.
05:12The New York Times said the partnership deepened in 2016, but Ukrainians wanted to do even
05:19more, and they started doing assassinations on their own Russia, and the United States
05:24government said, don't do it, or we'll cut off support.
05:27But the United States didn't cut off support, according to the Times article.
05:31So, in other words, Ukrainian paramilitary forces were armed, funded, and led by the
05:36United States.
05:39And that the so-called Maiden Coup Rebellion of February 2014, the so-called Maiden Coup
05:48happened when right-wing and neo-Nazi forces backed by the United States overthrew the
05:54elected pro-Russian president and installed a pro-imperialistic regime there.
06:03That's what the Wall Street Journal was talking about, what the New York Times said.
06:06The United States was not simply peaceably watching this situation.
06:11As far as Crimea goes, they had an election there, and the Crimeans voted to be annexed
06:17by Russia.
06:18The U.S. said, oh, that was an invalid election.
06:21Well, I was in Germany, actually.
06:24I was talking to an agent from Lufthansa, the airline.
06:28She had an accent.
06:28I asked her where she was from.
06:29She said, Crimea.
06:31I said, well, what do you think about this annexation by Russia?
06:34Oh, it's great.
06:36Okay, so we're free and told the West, oh, no, these people didn't want it.
06:39And so she was all for it.
06:43And, you know, the United States took all kinds of actions against Russia, and this
06:47ended up with Russia starting its special military operation into Ukraine.
06:52Now, I'm not trying to justify any military actions, but I thought providing background
06:57explains what's been happening and some of the reasons why.
07:02Does this background information help explain America's lack of global competitiveness?
07:07To a degree, yes.
07:08Because as far as sanctions go, the United States keeps putting more and more sanctions
07:14against Russia.
07:16So much so that the state Duma, which is like their Congress, over Russia said the dollar
07:24has become toxic.
07:25Washington has totally undermined trust in the dollar as a global reserve currency by
07:30imposing illegal sanctions against our country's financial institutions.
07:35It has been discredited, he claims, and that the BRICS members are looking for alternatives
07:40to dollars because they don't want to become hostages to U.S. policies.
07:45And because of this, Russia is now doing more and more trade with its own currency
07:51and with other currencies and pretty much throughout the United States dollar.
07:55Now, I've been warning for many years of the cost to U.S. sanctions, and this is what's
08:00going on.
08:03And because of this, Russia started to take steps back in 2014 to separate itself from
08:10the West.
08:11And again, I mentioned the Eurasian Union, and a Russian economist said that the government
08:20of the United States will one day declare default and not pay its debts back.
08:25And he says this will result in a 30 percent collapse of the GDP of the United States and
08:30consumption of half of the stuff for the households.
08:34And according to him, the United States' reckless and irresponsible monetary policies
08:39are leading to that, and the sanctions are part of it.
08:41And other nations have seen this.
08:44But then he said Russia is the only country on the planet that's ready to offer the whole
08:49world an alternative development model.
08:52Vladimir Putin has repeatedly warned that a global catastrophe will soon occur, which
08:56will begin with the financial collapse in the United States.
09:00For those of us in the United States, that type of catastrophe is almost inconceivable.
09:06Does the Bible verify that catastrophe?
09:10Yes.
09:10In the 600 B.C.s., God had the prophet Habakkuk write a short book.
09:15In chapter 2, he talked about something for the appointed time of the end.
09:19And starting in verse 6, he says,
09:22Woe to him who increases what is not his.
09:25How long?
09:26And to him who loathes himself with many pledges.
09:28Will not your creditors rise up suddenly?
09:31Will not they awake who oppress you, and you will become their booty?
09:34Because you've plundered many nations, all the remnant people shall plunder you.
09:38Because of men's blood and the violence of the land and the city, and those who dwell
09:41in it.
09:42Now, the United States has an admitted official debt of over $34.7 trillion.
09:49And it plans on increasing that.
09:52And it's going to cause a collapse.
09:55And the Russians see this.
09:57And going back to the Russian report, it's precisely in order to minimize the cost of
10:02the coming catastrophe, the economist said, that Putin began preparing Russia for it long
10:07ago.
10:08An important step of this direction was taken in 2021.
10:11It was then that the de-dollarization campaign in the Russian Federation received a powerful
10:17impetus.
10:18The country began to actively get rid of this currency for gold and other foreign currency
10:24reserves.
10:26Will trading dollars for gold prove to be a good move for Mr. Putin?
10:31Yes.
10:32In the 11th chapter of the Book of Daniel, the 18th chapter of the Book of Revelation,
10:37we see that gold will have value after the United States is gone.
10:43And going back to this other article, since Russia has already completely gotten rid of
10:47the dollar, and when the economy of the United States begins to collapse under the weight
10:52of its accumulated problems and contradictions, when the entire global dollar system collapses,
10:58Russia will be safe.
10:59Because by this time, our country will be completely freed from all its obligations
11:02associated with being a controlled state.
11:06The United States gets it done.
11:09OK.
11:10Does this economist mention the role of the BRICS alliance?
11:16In that particular article, he did not.
11:18But as far as the BRICS alliance, which is Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa,
11:23and now a bunch of other countries have joined it, it was actually partially formed
11:28according to President Brazil in order to bypass the US dollar.
11:32The reality is one day the US dollar is going to be toppled.
11:36Let me add that the Bible teaches that the coming European power will also accumulate
11:40gold.
11:41So that's the way that we're seeing it in the world.
11:45Wouldn't the petrodollar offer some backup protection for the US dollar?
11:50It has been.
11:50I mean, since the US went off the gold standard, there was an unofficial agreement with Saudi
11:56Arabia along those lines.
11:57The reality is Saudi Arabia has been starting to sell oil in something other than dollars.
12:05And there's an article about it this week.
12:08It said Saudi Arabia is progressively reducing its dependent on the United States.
12:13It joined the BRICS group.
12:15And it's been increasing its diplomatic and economic ties with China and Iran and other
12:23nations considered to be US foreign policy enemies.
12:29And the fact is, for a long time, the dollar was worth something because you had to pay
12:36for oil in it.
12:37Now, Russia is not trading its oil in dollars, nor is Iran.
12:41And other nations and BRICS are avoiding dollars.
12:44Plus, we see changes in Saudi Arabia.
12:46So yes, changes in the US pushed or led economic system is collapsing.
12:53So is the collapse of the US financial system solely due to the acts of the BRICS alliance
12:58and changes in the status of the petrodollar?
13:01No, the US use of bullying with its political influence, debt accumulation is also part
13:08of all this.
13:08But there's one other reason.
13:10This is a reason that a lot of people don't want to pay attention to in the United States.
13:15But I want to read something from the prophet Isaiah.
13:18Isaiah chapter 30, starting in verse 12.
13:21Therefore, thus says the Holy One of Israel, because you despise this word and trust in
13:26oppression and perversity and rely on them.
13:30Therefore, this iniquity shall be to you like a breach ready to fall in a bulge in a high
13:35wall, whose breaking comes suddenly and in an instant.
13:39So that kind of sounds like the prophecy of Habakkuk.
13:43It's the United States trusting in perversity that looks to have been a trigger the last
13:4912 plus years, the United States taking steps against Russia.
13:53And the United States has also greatly increased its debt since then.
13:57It's more than doubled since Hillary Clinton attempted to push perversity on Russia.
14:03So the collapse of the United States is coming.
14:05Vladimir Putin sees the proverbial handwriting on the wall, and he's taking steps.
14:11Hopefully, our audience sees it.
14:13Hopefully, they'll take the proper steps.
14:17Thank you, Dr. Teal.
