00:00so temperatures into the 90s feeling like into the triple digits Paul I want
00:05to ask how is the forecast changed because I keep checking for New York
00:08City where I live and I'm waiting to see it break and it feels like every day
00:13that I look the day it breaks has been getting pushed by hour and later and
00:18later by hour and hour you know New York City the official reading is at Central
00:24Park and this time of the year there's lots of vegetation a lot of growth a lot
00:28of trees and so they have a little difficult more difficult time getting to
00:32that 90 degree mark I don't know what it is it's like a wall getting at the 89
00:36degrees a lot of times but outside of the city and in the city itself it does
00:40get into the 90s and but they're gonna see probably about 90 degrees starting
00:45on Friday actually starting on Thursday 92 degrees there 94 on Friday and then
00:52a backdoor cold front is gonna come in and kind of maybe spoil the official
00:56heatwave which is usually three days of 90 plus readings in a row and so they
01:01may not officially have a heatwave in New York City although if you talk to
01:06anybody outside of the Central Park area they're probably gonna disagree with you
01:10but anyway it's it most places are gonna experience this all the way into the
01:14weekend until a major cold front probably comes in sometimes Sunday night
01:17Monday and changes things a little bit for next week
