00:22awkward, not awkward, I shouldn't say awkward, but a special edition of the Patriots Daily

00:26Podcast, live from inside the Gillette Stadium Media Workroom, where we are here to recap

00:32today's minicamp practice down in Foxborough, as well as give a quick preview of what to expect

00:45Kind of, again, it's weird because we've never done this together, so asking the chat to make

00:49sure that we don't sound ridiculous. So tell us in the chat, and we will try to take our mics

00:54off and see what happens. But anyway, like I said, coming from today's minicamp practice,

00:59Patriots wrapped up minicamp today. Three days, one day off yesterday. We're going to do, like I

01:05said, a quick 30 minutes before this Brady thing. We're obviously super excited for that. We've got

01:08to get out to the red carpet, go cover this thing. So make sure we'll have coverage all night at

01:17said, from today, where we'll start with the absences, Taylor. Kendrick Bourne, Seoni Takitaki,

01:21Jelani Tavai, Taekwon Thornton, Jake Andrews, Cole Strange, and Tyron Whitley Jr. Not there,

01:26not present. A lot of guys who already haven't really been there for most of camp, but one,

01:33Taekwon Thornton, not there. What do you make of it? Obviously, we don't really know anything,

01:36but is it important? Does it matter? What are your thoughts on that? What are your

01:39thoughts on all the absences, really? Usually, I'm not one to be like, oh, a guy's not here.

01:43You know, that's huge. I don't think it's a huge deal, but it's disappointing, at the very least,

01:47for Taekwon Thornton, a guy that we've consistently talked about as someone who needs to stay on the

01:52field and be healthy. We know he put on weight in the offseason to better protect himself, basically

01:56called it like body armor, and now he's buffed Taekwon. So we also have no idea what the

02:00situation is. This could be an excused absence. We really don't know. But not seeing him out there,

02:05he's just someone who doesn't feel like he can afford to miss any days. And that was especially

02:09obvious today because he wasn't here, and we saw somebody capitalize on opportunities that they got

02:15in, you know, capitalizing on the fact that he wasn't out there and they got more reps. We'll

02:19get into more of that later. But yeah, just disappointing for sure, because Taekwon is

02:23somebody who needs to stack good days together. Now it's going to be an extended break, and

02:28hopefully he puts in the work in training camp and can be healthier, stay on the field, and

02:33you'll continue to string the positive performances he had that we saw kind of flash, but not really

02:38show consistently. Well, that's the part that, again, we've talked about it about him so many

02:41times now is that he puts together a good spring. He either gets hurt or he has a bad practice,

02:46and then the wheels kind of fall off. And it's happened kind of consistently over the last couple

02:49of years. So like you said, I think disappointing is the right word for it, where he looks good,

02:53has a tough practice the other day, and then all of a sudden he's not out here. So who knows? He

02:57could, you know, could have left early, could have been excused, what have you. Didn't really

03:00hear much from it because we talked to him before practice, didn't talk to him after. So he's gone.

03:04We don't have an answer, but we'll see what happens there. So let's get into the good stuff

03:08because, well, I shouldn't really say good stuff because if you saw our recap earlier on CLNS

03:13YouTube, you saw it was a little bit of a shaky day for the quarterbacks here in Foxboro. Jacoby

03:17Brissett, some highs, some lows, probably his most inconsistent practice of camp so far, I'd say.

03:23And same with Drake May, we talked about it, but some inconsistencies, some accuracy issues.

03:28But then he kind of comes on strong at the end, three straight touchdowns to Booty, the nice one

03:32to Jalen Polk. So overall thoughts on the quarterback position from you, I want to get,

03:38but then also, you know, where you see it heading into camp, because I think you, I don't know if

03:43you saw it or kind of wrote something off it, but Jeff Howe from The Athletic kind of gave his

03:47opinion when he was down here on Monday, that there's a chance Derrick can make it to overtake

03:51Jacoby Brissett in training camp and actually start the season at quarterback one. We talked

03:55about it here on the podcast a lot. I kind of pushed back quickly and then kind of was like,

03:58well, if he's ready to go, he's ready to go and just kind of put it back out there. So

04:03I guess recap minicamp from the quarterback perspective, and then also how it gets into

04:07training camp and how Drake May can potentially take over that spot on day one. Yeah. So Jacoby

04:11Brissett has been the team's most consistent quarterback by a decent margin. There have

04:16been some misses. I think today there were more misses than usual. Like last practice,

04:20he had some overthrows and ones that weren't catchable at times. I was like, all right,

04:23maybe he's throwing it away because it's tight coverage. There are also times there were clear

04:27miscommunications. I'm not going to write him off for one bad day. Like you said, he also had the

04:32play to Jalen Polk, where he ran a stick, not against Kyle Duggar and caught in the back of

04:35the end zone. Also through a touchdown to Keishon Booty. So, you know, everybody has bad days. Gerard

04:41Mayo has made it a point to say with Drake May, the progress is not linear. You're going to have

04:44good days. You're going to have bad days. But for the most part, Jacoby Brissett, like I said,

04:48has looked like this team starter just in his consistency. Not as many wow plays really,

04:53as we see with Drake May. And that's kind of to be expected. Although Jacoby Brissett,

04:56canceling that thing, which is why I'm excited to see when we get pads on and things get a little

05:00more intense, what exactly happens. But yeah, you know, I thought today was okay for him.

05:05With Drake May, it really, what Mayo's comments about that growth not being consistent necessarily

05:11all the time, just by nature of being a young player, you saw that. Because one issue that

05:16Drake May had in college is with accuracy. We're on short throws, especially a lot of the time

05:21he's throwing behind guys. Not only does that limit yards after the catch, but as we saw on

05:25the play to Jalen Polk, which you talked about after practice, where pokes open on an out route,

05:29where they're trying to get the ball downfield. Drake puts the ball behind him. Alex Austin

05:33initially was beaten. Then great play by him to get back in there and end up breaking it up to

05:38capitalize. Those kinds of things can get you in trouble in the NFL, especially in an offense with

05:42Alex Van Pelt, where we are expecting a lot of quick game, a lot of the short passing game.

05:46So those are the things where you're like, I expected it, but you don't really want to see

05:50that, especially kind of at this point in many camp, obviously the last day when he's been on

05:54the field for a while. That said, for us, it may feel like a little while, but this is not a very

06:00long time. Drake May has been in the NFL for less than a couple of months. So I don't want to read

06:04too much into that. Really, my biggest takeaway was the fact that even though he did have those

06:08inconsistencies with accuracy, had some short misses and things like that, he came through when

06:12it mattered most. Now the pass indication on booty, who we'll get to later, they were better efforts

06:16from him for the most part, where he was adjusting to some of those air passes and making catches

06:20through contact. Then the one he had on the fade, like he had two beautiful fade passes that were

06:26perfect out of the defender's reach. The first was to cash on booty where he puts it high and then

06:31see booty making the dive and catch. And then the one that ended the practice, again, that's why it

06:36says that the quarterbacks ended on a high note where Drake May threw it out there for Jalen Polk.

06:40Polk made a diving full extension to make the catch. It was absolutely wild. The kind of thing

06:45that if you watch Jalen Polk's tape, you're not surprised by it. But again, the fact that he

06:49trusted Jalen Polk, who he said after practice is like, hey, give me a chance. I want to make a play

06:54that they're getting that chemistry and that trust. That was really awesome. And the fact

06:57that he struggled but ended the day with a positive play and didn't seem as discouraged

07:01as he maybe did a few practices ago where he had an interception, then kind of struggled. Also did

07:06have an interception today where it seemed like Azizi Hearns may have baited him. Maybe it wasn't

07:10a great route from Juju. We're totally sure. It's hard to know when you only see it live and don't

07:14have a replay. But again, Drake May ending on a high note, despite some inconsistency, that was my

07:19bigger take. Well, it's funny, too. I feel like throughout the entire practice today, it was kind

07:22of like, ooh, shaky day for the offense, bad day for the offense. Everyone's kind of pre-writing

07:26their practice notebooks, like this is going to be the one that gets them into the summer on a bad

07:30note. And then they bounce back from it, like you see on the screen, and on a high note. And all of

07:35a sudden, the entire sort of narrative changes. Like, oh, OK, touchdown from the two rookies,

07:39quarterback to wide receiver. Let's get into the summer on a high note and kind of kick this thing

07:43off and get it into gear. So like we mentioned, kind of up and down, but a good end to practice.

07:49The one thing, too, that I loved, and this is just kind of behind the scenes type stuff, but like,

07:53Drake May throws the touchdown to Polk, and Jacoby Bursette was the happiest guy I've ever

07:56seen on the field. Yeah, he's such a great teammate. It's so obvious. He's always celebrating.

08:00He celebrates Drake. And to be fair, the entire offense, like, ran over to celebrate. That was

08:05a really cool thing to see for a group that, you know, usually the offense is the unit that's doing

08:09push-ups at the end of practice. Today was the defense. So that was really cool to see those

08:13guys get a win in that camaraderie. Yeah, so like we said, up and down day for the quarterbacks.

08:16We'll get to the rest of it. We'll talk wide receivers. But first, let's listen to our friends

09:27All right, Taylor, let's move on to the wide receivers. We touched on it a little bit,

09:31but kind of want to go a little bit more in-depth, get your thoughts on Jalen Polk,

09:34Kayshawn Booty, because Booty, someone who, we'll start with him, someone who six-round pick last

09:39year, kind of had a strong camp, makes the team. First game against Philly, can't get his toes in

09:45on the sideline on fourth down, and then all of a sudden it kind of just spiraled out from there.

09:49Has the issue this off season with the gambling thing, but comes back, has an okay camp,

09:55up and down, or okay spring so far, and then just goes off today, completely shines. Chris Brouts,

10:00good catch across the middle, and then he finishes with those three touchdowns as well.

10:05What do you make of that? What do you think about Booty's day today, and does he actually have a

10:09chance to potentially push and make the team? I mean, I don't think anybody's spot is secure

10:14other than like Demario Douglas, Kendrick Bourne, and then the two rookies, so I think he's, I wrote

10:18it in my notes, I think he could definitely be a dark horse candidate to make the roster,

10:22especially Drake May, you know, I asked him for the second time, that was so bad. I didn't hear

10:25it get asked the first time, but he was asked about Kayshawn Booty, I'm not, I'm still not,

10:30but he was asked about Kayshawn Booty and why he had such a productive day, and he mentioned one,

10:35just part of the read obviously, but then the fact that he was winning against one-on-one coverage,

10:38and when they have that string of like four straight completions, three or four,

10:42it was pretty obvious that he was kind of locking in on him when he did have those one-on-one

10:45situations, and that's where I mentioned Taequann Thornton not being here, Booty was the one who

10:49capitalized, because Taequann has been the main ex-receiver for this offense, with him out,

10:54Jalen Rager was promoted to the number one ex-receiver, and then you saw Booty as the number

10:59two, he's worked in, but hasn't really been a consistent presence, and then we saw with Drake

11:04May's group, he was just really taking advantage of his opportunities, the one pass against Alex

11:08Austin on like a slant or a short in-cut, where it was thrown behind him, he makes the catch with

11:12Austin right there, then there was a play where Marte Mapu was draped all over him, it was a

11:17juggling catch, which made it even more impressive that he seemed to get his feet inbounds, again on

11:21a pass where May didn't exactly help him out, the fade was the one where they were actually both on

11:26the same page, and you were really impressed, again the diving extension in the back of the

11:31end zone with somebody right on you, those are the kind of things we saw in flashes last year,

11:35when you started to hear, oh Kayshaun Booty's starting to make a push for this team to keep

11:39six or seven receivers, that was what we were seeing, where he was making those tough catches

11:43near the sideline, especially contested, so hopefully he can keep stacking those together,

11:48because I think Jalen Rager has a chance to make this team, because he has special teams value,

11:52and Kayshaun Booty doesn't bring that, which makes his ability to get on the field even more

11:56important, but Javon Baker has been on the field, and you hope that he can emerge as that ex,

12:01but I think if you have a real good battle going there, maybe again Kayshaun Booty,

12:05a guy who also has versatility, Alex Austin mentioned he's a three-level threat as a route

12:09runner, so maybe you can really get that talent out of him, especially with better quarterback

12:14play, which he didn't really have last year, and continue to show us this in training camp,

12:17but it'd be huge if he can really emerge, because these young guys bring the explosiveness,

12:21the veterans are solid, they don't have a lot of juice, and that's where guys like Booty,

12:25Polk, Baker, those guys, obviously Pop, those guys can really come through.

12:29Yeah, again, it's obviously going to be tough, right? I mean, we talk about they draft two

12:32receivers, DeMario Douglas comes on strong, he's basically a lock, Kendrick Ford is going to be

12:36back, he's probably a lock to make the team, and K.J. Osborne, a guy who they sign this offseason,

12:41may be a tough look if you cut him after signing him, but again...

12:44It's like fringe.

12:45Yeah, he's fringe, and if Booty can make a push, then why not? You're going to try and keep your

12:49best 53 players, so some positive shines from Kayshaun today. Let's get to my favorite guy,

12:55Jalen Polk.

12:56Yes, sir.

12:56Unbelievable. Again, maybe I'm going a little bit too far, maybe it's the fact that I love

13:01watching him in college, and now he's kind of coming on strong here quickly, but I love the

13:05fact that they seem to have a consistent, young, wide receiver who they can sort of build this

13:09thing out with going forward, and we talked about the play of the day, the fade route to Polk from

13:14May for a touchdown, but in general, he just seems to be so consistent every time. Like, yeah,

13:20are his routes perfect? No, but he's there, he has those crisp hands, he catches the ball

13:25basically every time. He just looks like a surefire NFL receiver that I don't think we've

13:30really had here entirely over the past five, six years, ever since, frankly, a guy like Julian

13:34Edelman left. There's been ups and downs with everybody. Demario Douglas, of course, was solid

13:38last year, but I've just been super impressed with Jalen Polk, so tell me more about what you

13:42saw from him today, and where you see his sort of trajectory going into training camp.

13:46Well, it's appropriate that he's a former Husky, because the man's a dog.

13:50He kind of gives me those Jacobi Meyers vibes, where it may not be terribly impressive,

13:54he doesn't scare you with the size, he doesn't scare you with his explosiveness,

13:58but he does what his job description says he needs to do, and that's receive the ball. That's

14:02where he's dominant. You see it in drills, where even when they're just running routes on air,

14:06he's high-pointing all these passes. Sometimes receivers, you'll see them kind of extend,

14:10but their elbows are kind of tucked in because they don't want to go all the way out to get it.

14:14Jalen Polk, he knows he has strong hands, he's confident in them. You can see it in drills,

14:18you see it in live action. He's shown up in the red zone consistently. We've seen a lot of low

14:22red zone work from the Patriots. I think he has four touchdowns in his last two practices,

14:26really starting to come on strong. And again, like I mentioned, he told Drake May,

14:30just give me a chance. He wants to be that alpha type receiver. And all he has to do,

14:34the fact that he can adjust to having a defender draped all over him, he's going to win a lot of

14:39those matchups. And that's what, like you said, this team hasn't really had. I also think as he

14:44develops, he will be a better separator. He's a guy who, again, because he isn't super explosive,

14:48he has to win with pace, with technique and things like that. And I think he'll come along

14:52in that direction, but he's catching passes from Berset and I think he caught some from

14:56Zappi as well from May. So the fact that different quarterbacks are trusting him to

15:00make plays and he's coming through, I don't have anything negative to say about Jalen Polk.

15:04I haven't seen anything that makes you worry and you're like, all right, maybe I got to slow my

15:08horses. I'm not saying like we got to go crazy because obvious caveat, there's no pads and all

15:13that hoopla, but he's also good when it comes to physicality. I think he's only going to get better

15:17when he's actually allowed to use his strength and his aggressiveness. So yeah, I mean,

15:22really good end to mini camp for him. I'm excited to see how it carries over into training camp.

15:26Yeah, I can't freaking wait. I can't wait to watch him and Jalen Polk grow together. So all right,

15:30we're going to wrap it up with offensive line takeaways, quick hitter on the defense. We'll

17:06second round pick. Let's talk about the third round pick as well as the guy they signed this

17:11offseason, re-signed in Mike Unwenu. Sort of the same stuff we talked about on Monday, but

17:16Caden Wallace getting reps with the top offensive line, Mike Unwenu remains at right guard.

17:25Because left guard has been really pretty much city south. So Mike Unwenu, right guard.

17:30Mike Unwenu, right guard. You get it. Caden Wallace, I'm going to hand this one over to you.

17:38What do you got for us? What do you think about it? Yeah, so we already saw the combination of

17:41Mike Unwenu next to Caden Wallace in the last practice, but the biggest difference is in that

17:45practice, they were repping with the second team. This practice, we saw that as the top unit

17:49consistently. So obviously we mentioned, I think in our last show, how Jerrod Mayo said the same

17:55mantra. You want the best, best five offensive linemen out there. Now I do think Mike Unwenu

18:01is a pro bowl to potentially all pro caliber guard and probably just like a solid offensive

18:06tackle. The difficult part is in this wide zone scheme and in this Alex Van Pelt offensive,

18:11we're expecting to look a lot like what they did in Cleveland, at least for the run game.

18:14Like a monitor, Stevenson said, he's watching Nick Chubb date. So I think that kind of tells

18:17you where they're thinking of going. He said, they want to get the ball outside. I just,

18:22I worry about Unwenu being someone who has to move a lot and pull and get to the second level

18:26because he's at his best when he can just get his hands on a guy and move them backwards.

18:30I do also think that we've heard about Alex Van Pelt using players where they're best in,

18:34you know, capitalizing on their strengths, minimizing their weaknesses. I'm sure they'll

18:38adjust the way they did with Jawan Jones, but it still is going to be an outside zone,

18:41heavy scheme. So I wonder how well that fits Unwenu at the same time, if they can get Caden

18:45Wallace on the field over Nicola Rett, which is why I think this is really happening. That's a win.

18:50I think you want to get Caden Wallace reps. You took him in a third round that usually indicates

18:53that someone you would least see as a contributor. And obviously Leighton Robinson was taken in the

18:58fourth round. There's a lot of people who've watched him like Jim Nagy and others have said,

19:02he's a starter as well. But obviously with Caden Wallace being taken around earlier,

19:06you'd like to get him on the field first. So moving Mike Unwenu back inside where again,

19:11I think as a pass protector, that's where you see he's one of the best pass blocking guards

19:14in the league. And then with City and David Andrews on the inside, I think that could

19:18potentially want to be one of the better interiors in the NFL. Then Shooks and Caden

19:23Wallace may not be superstars on the bookends, but all you need is solid tackle play, especially

19:28if you get Drake May in there who can absolutely minimize having just solid offensive tackles.

19:33Like in by solid, what I mean is they may not wow you, every rep isn't going to look great,

19:38but at the same time, they're not having quick losses. That's what you saw last season where

19:43Badarian Lowe, especially on the right side, when he was in there and Calvin Anderson,

19:46obviously he was dealing with health issues and all that. But when those backup tackles

19:50were in there, they were losing immediately. And that's what you can't have. It's one thing.

19:54If you force the guy around the arc, he spins back inside and maybe almost gets a hand on the

19:58quarterback chance to get out of the pocket. Like how to read it out. And then with May,

20:03I think he has the pocket feel. I think he has a mover ability to mitigate some,

20:06you know, some deficiencies on the edge, but the interior, if you have bad guard play,

20:10you're screwed because it's really hard to escape a guy who's writing your face.

20:14Um, but yeah, I like this combination. It's cool that we're actually seeing them say, okay,

20:18we liked what that looked like last time. Let's see how it works with the top unit.

20:22I will say pass rush was an issue. I think that had a lot to do with Jacoby Brissett and Drake

20:26may struggling, but I'll also say the offensive line is at a huge disadvantage right now. They

20:30are being reactionary without pads while people are coming forward and trying to like bull rush

20:35them. So even Gerard Mayo was said, this hasn't been about how they physically perform. It's

20:39about fundamentals and getting on the right page mentally. So I understand there's some speculation

20:44and we shouldn't ignore it because if it carries over, then we say, Oh, we saw some signs, but I

20:48don't want to read too much into how they actually produced, but it is kind of cool to see that the

20:53players that I think everyone would agree are their best five offensive linemen are on the field

20:57with, again, that topic. That's, that's the part that I, I think needs to kind of be hammered home

21:01here is those top five guys, the five guys that they think are the best five, you know,

21:05offensive linemen that can work together. Because I think Michael, I want to mention it yesterday

21:08too, at, um, at the, the event where, you know, we feel like we need to put our best five guys

21:13out there and we feel like this could, whatever I do, whether it's guard, whether it's tackle,

21:17if they think that's the best five guys, we're going to do that. And you mentioned Scarnacchia,

21:22the Scarnacchia offensive lines here, the, basically the main thing was a, the best five

21:27guys and B those five guys played pretty much the whole season, barring health. Like they weren't

21:31flipping guys inside and outside. They weren't, you know, guys weren't getting benched guys,

21:36weren't getting hurt. It was pretty much the same five guys in front of Tom Brady,

21:39the entire season, which makes it that much easier to have consistency and get used to,

21:43you know, the pocket feel and the running backs behind you and things like that. So,

21:47um, again, if they can hammer home their best five guys, regardless of where they play. Yes.

21:51Would I rather see your third round pick play left tackle? I guess. Would I rather see the

21:55guy who just paid bucko bucks and Mike on when to play tackle maybe, but at the same time,

22:00if that's going to be good and kind of win you a football game, who the hell cares? So that's

22:04kind of where they were that with that. So again, good to see, uh, stuff there from cable.

22:08So quickly, before we move on to some quick thoughts on Brady night coming up, um, any sort

22:13of defensive takeaways today from, from any camp though, Alex Austin and Marco Wilson looked like

22:18they're rotating next to Gonzalez. Like Austin gets a rep. Then Marco Wilson, they get a rep.

22:22There's been a lot there. Jalen Hawkins has continued to be a fixture on the backend.

22:26Uh, they do seem like they're using Marty Mop who is more of a dime linebacker, which

22:30that's what I'm cool with that. Like, if you want to use him like Mack Wilson on passing downs,

22:34that's awesome because I do think he can make a lot of plays near the line of scrimmage.

22:38If he's athletic enough to play on the backend with the versatility, I'd also like to see him

22:41do that, but maybe they just feel more comfortable with Jalen Hawkins in that role, which, you know,

22:45if he's, he hasn't had any glaring issues or anything, I'm cool with that. Seeing how that

22:49develops. Oh, Shane Jimenez is also someone I highlighted him and Hawkins in some of my

22:54leftovers in my notes today. They have had a pretty significant number of reps with that top

22:59unit. So I'd say he's a guy to look out for. Um, outside of that, ZZ Hearns did make a couple

23:03plays. One was the interception. I think both of his plays were against Juju, where I think

23:09we're, you know, I can only give him so much credit just to be totally honest. Like Juju

23:12doesn't, he said he's a hundred percent. I'm again, not sure how true that is. He sounded

23:17so excited when he said it this time, unlike last year where he seemed like he said it begrudgingly,

23:21but still it just like, he's working away from the receivers at times in practice.

23:26It's hard to really assume. And even the way he looks, he like when he's going through drills,

23:30he looks slower than everybody else, but give us ZZ Hearns flowers. He still made the plays.

23:34Um, and those are really the big ones I'd say. Um, you know, Raekwon McMillan was kind of working

23:38in with that top unit as well. Um, in the defense, Oh, actually, uh, who is it? Oh,

23:43Shane Jimenez actually jumped off sides. Uh, Jacoby Brissette got him with a hard count.

23:47Uh, that was one other note, but yeah, I mean the front dominated again because they have the

23:51advantage. So I don't want to read a ton into that. I don't think the defensive lineman would

23:54either really like far more practice where you got like three straight stacks. I don't think

23:59he'd come over and be like, yeah, I ate today. I think he'd be like, you know, I'm doing my job.

24:02Yeah. Um, but yeah, really the biggest takeaway for me was how the rotations are working.

24:06Isaiah Bolden still repping heavily in the slot with the ZZ Hearns looking like the top back up

24:10there since Jonathan Jones and Marcus Jones aren't participating on defense. Love it. All right. The

24:14one thing I'll add, Joe Milton did a backflip today. Backflip. It was like Jamie Collins were

24:19literally weren't like, I think the only person who got a video was Patriots on filters, but

24:24everybody else like kind of got a picture because you could see he was loading up. You're like,

24:28no way. And it was, it was one of the craziest things I've seen this dude. I think he's bigger

24:32than Jamie. I don't think he's at least six, four to four or something like that. So Jamie,

24:37I think is like two 50, but still just absolute freak athletes. That was nuts.

24:41Yeah. All right. Let's wrap this thing up for, uh, but before we go quick thoughts on Tom Brady

24:46nights and I, first of all, if you're listening to this show and you're at your house and you're

24:50planning on coming to Tom Brady night, well, don't turn us off. You're turn it off, put it

24:55on your cell phone, get in your car and leave because traffic's going to get bad. There's

24:58rush hour traffic. This place is already packed outside. Uh, the stadium is going to be in your

25:03seats by six 30. If you're coming, uh, tons of events here. So get here early. It's going to be

25:07super fun. I can't wait. Patriots fan, my entire life. Same with Taylor, who kind of started

25:11watching the game because of Brady sort of, right? Yeah. I didn't start watching until I was

25:15in middle school. I think it was like 2011 was the first season I watched really seriously.

25:19And yeah, I mean, when you get to watch Brady every weekend, it'll get you to like football

25:23pretty easily. So yeah, really cool. Full circle moment. I feel like for both of us,

25:26it's been my whole football, my whole life, my whole football life. So yeah, I'm just like

25:29hundreds of teammates expected to be here. Bill Burr, uh, was going to have a quick comedy set,

25:34sort of open the thing up. Uh, rumor has it. No, I can't confirm this. Uh, Jay Z may be a

25:39musical guest and we're going to have a bunch of other guests here. So, uh, it's going to be super

25:43fun. So I believe you can watch on Patriots, uh, patriots.com and Patriots, uh, YouTube. Um,

25:49you'd like to give them a statue tonight? Yeah. I can see it. I can see it too. I feel like that's

25:53a cherry on top where you get all the niceties and then whoop. Exactly. That's what they,

25:57if you look at the, uh, I tweeted this a couple of weeks ago. If you look at the ticket master,

26:01um, like when you go and buy things and you see this, where the stage is set up, there's like a

26:05little circle stage in the middle. And I can't tell if that's just like an extra thing where

26:09they're going to do a whole walk around, but maybe there's a little, a little tarp there

26:12that they unveiled. Everybody's here. Like why wouldn't you, he's going to get a statue. That's

26:17obvious. Why wouldn't you? Yeah, that makes Bella checks going to be here. Uh, I wonder if they do

26:21like a number 12 banner somewhere, kind of leave that up. So they did that when he was suspended,

26:25they had like a 12 banner for the four games he was suspended, just hanging up. So now they have

26:29to do it now. So they set the standard. Yeah. So it's going to be fun. We'll have you covered all
