00:00Today, David Crisafulli dug his budget black hole deeper, $2.6 billion deeper.
00:07Today, David Crisafulli announced more expenditure and more cuts to revenue.
00:13And given everything he has said to this point, the only way that David Crisafulli can deliver
00:18those things is through cuts.
00:21He also hasn't explained to Queensland how we will get to 75% emission reduction by 2035
00:29when he's going to cut the Pioneer Burdekin Pumped Hydro project.
00:35On the big projects, Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 4, dead under David Crisafulli.
00:41Sunshine Coast Heavy Rail, Sunshine Coast Direct Rail, an extra $6.6 billion to be found.
00:49No plan to get it done by 2032.
00:53Pioneer Burdekin Pumped Hydro, dead under David Crisafulli.
00:58So, what happens when the wind doesn't blow and the sun doesn't shine?
01:03Two words, pumped hydro.
01:06What we heard from David Crisafulli today was this,
01:09if David Crisafulli cancels the Pioneer Burdekin project,
01:13that means he has to squeeze more life out of power plants that burn coal
01:18and then he has to go nuclear.
01:21No mention of royalties or what he'll do for his mates in the mining lobby.
01:25The bottom line of all of this is this, none of this adds up.
01:29It simply doesn't add up and David Crisafulli needs to say how he's going to pay for it.
