00:33 with people who I didn't know before opening the shop and I feel like you just don't quite
00:39 get that in a larger city than Ballarat.
00:41 So it's a really great balance in that sense.
00:47 I think there's so much charm and character in Ballarat that you don't want to lose but
00:53 also I think you want to encourage what's probably made it really great over the last
00:58 five years even since I've moved back from overseas and that is to see more hospitality
01:06 venues, more retail, open by younger people as well.
01:10 I think that's been one of the great parts of watching the city flourish over the last
01:15 few years.
01:16 It's a new generation of people who are doing great things and I hope that that really continues
01:21 over the next ten years.
01:23 The population is obviously going to continue to grow pretty quickly and that's a good thing
01:27 for a town like Ballarat.
01:28 I just hope that it's not all on the outer side of the town and is a little bit more
01:33 concentrated because where you have that concentration that's where you see life and that matters
01:39 so much for a place like Ballarat to not end up just urban sprawl otherwise why would you
01:45 choose to live here as opposed to the outskirts of Melbourne.
01:49 Having a more concentrated, urbanised to an extent CBD I think is really really important
01:56 if we're going to make something that people actually want to come to.
