We may already be a week into November, but for many Southern states, prime fall foliage is just now kicking into gear.

00:00 The leaves are falling and we're well past peak fall foliage season in many
00:04 areas but there are still some states across the country where you can catch
00:08 those beautiful fall colors before it's too late.
00:10 Christina Schallhoop shows us where.
00:12 We may have passed Halloween but that doesn't mean nor still not leaf
00:18 peeping around the country. Let's take a look at that fall foliage tracker and
00:22 while you see a lot of that deep dark dark dark dark dark dark red on the map
00:27 well I tell you what there are plenty of places they're still color-popping at
00:30 this point. They're just a little further south. You're out of luck if you're in
00:34 the Northeast. Let's just get that out there real quick considering the fact
00:37 that yeah the leaves are well past peak. Look even here in central Pennsylvania
00:42 around AccuWeather HQ the leaves are brown the leaves have fallen to the
00:45 ground and there are more bare trees than anything else but if you happen to
00:49 head south toward the Cumberland Plateau to the Tennessee Valley of Alabama for
00:54 example well guess what the leaves are looking pretty good at this point. So my
00:58 folks in Nashville in let's say Cookville for example even out toward
01:03 Charlotte and Raleigh enjoy the fact that you still have a little leaf peeping to
01:07 do and don't forget you can always send your fall leaf photos to AccuWeather. We
01:11 would love to see them and you never know maybe your photos and videos end up
01:14 right here on the AccuWeather Network.
