00:00 From watching the eclipse to watching the fall foliates, Christina Schellhoop is back with some of the best colors popping out right now where they are across the country.
00:09 We are heading into yet another fall weekend, which means I'm sure many of you have some fall plans.
00:18 Let's talk foliage, shall we? In your AccuWeather exclusive fall foliage forecast, which don't forget you can always find on AccuWeather.com or even the AccuWeather app,
00:26 we are looking at some really beautiful, vibrant colors from the northeast all the way to the north central states and then again back into the west.
00:35 But there's a little trick to this. Remember, we're already into October, which means leaves have been changing for quite a while now.
00:42 And if you had plans or have plans to head west, a lot of those leaves are past peak.
00:48 You can see as we get through the Rockies into the Bitterroots and Lewis range out toward the Tetons, that dark color representing where the leaves have passed peak already.
00:56 Now, if you're heading into the northeast, it's good news, bad news. The good news is there's still plenty of color to see.
01:02 I've heard some great reports coming out of New Hampshire lately. Would love to head up there before the leaves are past peak.
01:08 However, this weekend, you might know that we've been talking about some big weather on the way for the northeast.
01:14 A lot of rain on the way, especially as you're getting a little further south toward the Alleghenies and Pennsylvania and even heading out to the Blue Mountains of West Virginia.
01:21 It's going to be a pretty ugly weekend. So my suggestion to you is if you could perhaps head to, let's say, the Berkshires,
01:28 that is an opportunity to go see some leaves changing color and avoid the wettest of the weather this weekend.
