00:00 And I need a big chandelier because this new remodel, I know the dining room, the new dining
00:05 room isn't like enormous, but it's enormous to me.
00:09 And I need like a big chandelier.
00:11 Yeah, you do.
00:12 So what do you think, like 36 inch diameter?
00:14 Yeah, I think so.
00:16 Yeah.
00:17 And, and you know, I like sparklies.
00:18 Yep.
00:19 All right.
00:20 Let's see what we can see.
00:21 Look at the colors, honey.
00:22 Yeah, the ash trees are just lighting it up.
00:23 And a lot of the maples over here are colored up more than ours.
00:26 Yeah.
00:27 Which is weird.
00:28 I mean, over here, they're just a little bit more, um, I don't know, temperate.
00:32 Yeah.
00:33 Than we are.
00:34 We're still pretty warm.
00:35 Yeah, we are.
00:36 We're looking for anything in particular other than some low vases, possibly some baskets
00:40 for the flower shed, pictures, you know, all the things.
00:46 That makes it fun though.
00:48 Oh, new doors.
00:49 Oh, wow.
00:50 Oh, those look so...
00:51 Those are fancy pants.
00:52 Yeah.
00:53 Yeah.
00:54 Yes, it is.
00:55 Aren't they pretty?
00:56 Oh, they're iron.
00:57 Yeah, they're iron.
00:58 But I think they're beautiful.
00:59 They are beautiful.
01:00 Yeah.
01:01 Those would look beautiful on your new deck.
01:02 These would look beautiful by your Hartley.
01:03 How cool.
01:04 I've never seen ones that look quite like that.
01:05 I know.
01:06 Wow.
01:07 What's the price on them?
01:08 Well, I think that they might be for the pear.
01:09 Oh, that's so cool.
01:10 That's so cool.
01:11 That's so cool.
01:12 And I think they're pretty.
01:13 Yeah.
01:14 Yeah.
01:15 And they're tall.
01:33 These are really, really pretty.
01:34 Those are really cool.
01:35 I know.
01:36 You should get them.
01:37 Nope.
01:38 Not unless you...
01:39 No.
01:40 We have to stay in our own lanes.
01:41 Yes.
01:42 Yes, we do.
01:43 You're in the basket lane.
01:44 I'm in the basket lane.
01:45 Who's in the urn lane, though?
01:46 Nobody's in the urn lane.
01:47 Because now, how do we claim it?
01:48 It's...
01:49 Okay, so we both saw them at the same time, and I think they fit...
01:52 We need to flip a coin.
01:56 They actually look like they'd fit really well at your house.
01:58 Yours too.
01:59 Yeah.
02:00 Especially with all the white you're going to be doing.
02:01 Yeah, we're going to do a lot of white.
02:02 They're beautiful.
02:03 Oh, gosh.
02:04 Okay, well, we have time to think about it.
02:05 I mean, they know how to sucker a son right in the entry.
02:09 I know.
02:10 They're doing this on purpose.
02:11 I like that table.
02:14 Isn't it sweet?
02:15 That is sweet.
02:16 I love having those things just kind of popped in here and there where you can set a bouquet.
02:20 See?
02:21 Yeah.
02:22 A bistro table.
02:23 Bistros are always a good idea.
02:24 Erin.
02:25 Yes.
02:26 Always a good idea.
02:27 Yeah.
02:28 Tim-Tacs.
02:29 Oh, fabric dye.
02:30 I wonder if you could trust it.
02:32 Well, I don't know.
02:34 Oh, that is the weirdest looking light fixture.
02:37 What in the world?
02:38 Is that kind of like Western style?
02:40 I don't know what that is.
02:42 I think it's Western.
02:44 I don't know.
02:45 That's weird.
02:46 Do you need a mortar and pestle?
02:47 Oh, my gosh.
02:49 This is giant.
02:50 It is.
02:51 Okay, it's got a little split in it.
02:53 You can do a little caulking.
02:54 A little caulking.
02:55 You can be in business with that thing.
02:59 You know how old this probably is?
03:00 This is awesome.
03:01 What does it say?
03:02 It says, "Can-Carve Japanese Rice Grinder."
03:06 Oh, that's cool.
03:08 That is very cool.
03:09 Do you want to know something, Mom?
03:10 What?
03:11 There is something I'm looking for.
03:12 I need a set of pictures, a set of two that I can put on either side of the fireplace
03:16 instead of those kind of arched mirrors that I have.
03:19 Right.
03:20 But I want it to be like some pretty heavy gold frames.
03:21 Oh, that would be pretty.
03:22 So, something to look out for.
03:23 Okay.
03:24 We're looking for that.
03:25 These are too small, but I think they're pretty.
03:29 Oh, they're really pretty.
03:32 Yeah, that's an etching of the Vienna Opera House and then a Vienna street scene.
03:37 Do you know what would look really pretty?
03:38 It's like some pretty chunky gold.
03:40 Yeah, chunky gold.
03:41 Look at this.
03:42 I know.
03:43 It's so little, cute.
03:44 Yeah.
03:45 Oh, this looks like what my grandma had.
03:47 Oh, I like that lamp.
03:48 A lamp like that and she had that paper shank.
03:52 Oh, really?
03:53 Yeah.
03:54 It's a pretty one.
03:55 Yeah.
03:56 But there's a really, really interesting urn over here that you could make beautiful bouquets
04:00 in.
04:01 I don't know.
04:02 That needs like a bowl in it.
04:03 It does.
04:04 Yeah, I think the fruit's throwing me off.
04:06 Well, it is, but just think of it with a bowl and beautiful flower, just a real loose bouquet.
04:11 It almost looks like a flirtily kind of sort of like seal right there.
04:16 This is a pagoda style lamp.
04:18 That's kind of a neat one though.
04:19 It is.
04:20 I like the color.
04:21 It's different.
04:22 And look, this is a giant tassel.
04:24 Isn't that funny?
04:27 Yes.
04:28 Lots of good stuff today.
04:30 I know.
04:31 Look at these.
04:32 Those are pretty.
04:33 Serving bowls with silver trim.
04:35 That's pretty.
04:38 You need these.
04:39 For what?
04:40 For what?
04:41 For all the things you're going to serve.
04:42 Well, I am hosting Thanksgiving this year.
04:44 Aren't these beautiful?
04:45 They are pretty.
04:46 They're only $10.
04:47 They're 1960s.
04:48 We need to keep a running list and the booth number so we know where to come back.
04:56 I know.
04:57 But here's another one that's, oh, this is really pretty too.
05:00 Oh, wow.
05:01 A taller one.
05:02 Yeah.
05:03 It's very nice.
05:04 Yes.
05:05 Say, I need to go get that hutch at Enchanting Objects that I sent you a picture of.
05:10 These are for Thanksgiving table.
05:12 Cornucopia?
05:13 Yes.
05:14 Horn of Plenty.
05:16 That is Thanksgiving.
05:17 Are those heavy or are they resin?
05:20 They're heavy.
05:21 And there's two of them.
05:22 And wouldn't these look really fun to have on your Thanksgiving table?
05:26 Are you going to make my centerpiece?
05:27 I can totally do it.
05:29 But you're hosting Thanksgiving this year.
05:30 So this is it.
05:32 Okay.
05:33 We've got to think about this.
05:34 Okay.
05:35 I like this dresser.
05:36 It's pretty.
05:37 This reminds me of the one in your bedroom.
05:38 A little bit.
05:39 It does.
05:40 It's smaller, but it's got like the little drawers.
05:43 Does yours have a marble top?
05:44 No.
05:45 It's wood.
05:46 Gotcha.
05:47 Oh, he looks pretty dang scary.
05:50 Look at those eyes.
05:51 Yeah.
05:52 Oh, it's called a Possessed Beethoven.
05:53 Oh.
05:54 So there you go.
05:55 Oh, why did they have to do that?
05:56 I don't know.
05:57 What's up with these big bullets?
05:59 Shell casing.
06:00 Oh, my.
06:01 That is an actual shell casing.
06:03 My word.
06:06 Cobwebs in there.
06:07 Benjamin would love this.
06:09 Yes, he would.
06:10 He is the most patriotic little dude.
06:14 You could have that in his room.
06:15 Yeah, he would love that.
06:16 And it even has a, it's a flag holder.
06:18 Yeah.
06:19 That's in good shape.
06:20 It is in good shape.
06:21 It's like a little umbrella stand down there.
06:23 He could pledge allegiance all day long if he wanted to.
06:26 See, once again, Laura.
06:28 I know.
06:29 What have happened to our feet?
06:30 We've got like, aren't these cute?
06:31 Yeah, those are cute.
06:32 My feet.
06:33 And so delicate.
06:34 What's happened?
06:35 I mean, my feet are like twice as wide as that.
06:38 Okay, now we're in frame land.
06:43 Oh, and sometimes pretty pictures in here.
06:46 Wood box, unique.
06:48 That is unique.
06:49 Well, it certainly is.
06:50 Put a football in there.
06:51 Oh, yeah.
06:52 Look at this sweet little frame.
06:53 That is a pretty frame.
06:54 Isn't that so sweet?
06:55 Yes.
06:56 Antique gold frame.
06:57 I love ovals.
06:58 This is really pretty, though.
06:59 Oh, that is a beauty.
07:00 Yeah.
07:01 Is that the one you were trying to get to?
07:02 Oh, I love that.
07:03 I love that.
07:04 That's a beautiful frame.
07:05 Oh, that's a beautiful frame.
07:06 I love that.
07:07 I love that.
07:08 Is that the one you were trying to get me to buy last time?
07:10 Yes.
07:11 That's why they need to sell it to you, because it's been here a while.
07:16 These are-
07:17 More ovals?
07:18 Oh, nice.
07:19 Oh.
07:20 Yeah.
07:21 All of my pictures are in storage right now.
07:24 All my presidents are in storage.
07:26 This one's got a little bit more of a different vibe over here.
07:32 Kind of a shabby chic sort of look.
07:34 Yeah.
07:35 There's some sweet things in here.
07:36 I can appreciate that look.
07:38 It's not really my style, but I do.
07:42 Complete arithmetic.
07:43 This is a pretty book.
07:44 Look at that.
07:45 Oh, yeah.
07:46 Oh, that's really- Benjamin could be doing some mathematics.
07:49 Benjamin's good at math.
07:50 You know, I saw somebody on Instagram that took a vintage print like that, and then they
08:00 added their own things in.
08:02 They did?
08:03 Like they put a pumpkin for one of the heads.
08:05 Oh, are you kidding?
08:06 They put like a- I can't remember.
08:09 Like a little ghost around the chandelier.
08:11 Like they Halloweened it up, but it was kind of fun.
08:12 Yeah.
08:13 I mean, you didn't have to do it like that.
08:15 Yeah.
08:16 You could just add your own little flair.
08:17 You know, people are super creative.
08:18 Yeah, they are.
08:19 Yeah.
08:20 Oh, look at that little buggy or whatever.
08:22 What is that?
08:23 That's a race car.
08:24 It's a pedal.
08:25 A little pedal race car.
08:28 I sort of have a little bit of a memory of being on one of those.
08:32 Really?
08:33 Yeah.
08:34 Oh, that's funny.
08:35 Like really getting your legs out there.
08:36 Oh my.
08:37 Oh my word.
08:38 I think that's the most ghastly thing I've ever seen.
08:41 Okay.
08:42 Do you think that that's about a three foot deep, three feet?
08:45 I don't know, but that needs no pillar.
08:48 Like that's a table lamp for the floor.
08:50 For the floor.
08:51 Oh my word.
08:52 Yeah, that's a big one.
08:53 Yep.
08:54 Nope, nope, nope.
08:55 You know how funny.
08:56 This is pretty though.
08:57 Yeah.
08:58 Oh, I can get this and have some in Aaron.
09:08 You could.
09:09 Yeah.
09:10 Bring me my coffee.
09:11 You think he'd come running?
09:12 No.
09:13 You say quit that, quit that noise.
09:14 Quit that.
09:15 Quit that ringing.
09:16 Quit it.
09:17 I've always liked like pictures that look like that.
09:21 And one of those oval frames.
09:22 Yeah.
09:23 That'd be really cool.
09:24 There's a bunch of neat ones in here.
09:26 I want to say this is like wildlife.
09:28 They have, Oh, there's one duck.
09:30 Yeah.
09:31 Cool.
09:32 I need something big like that.
09:34 Maybe even, those are cute.
09:35 Yeah.
09:36 Aren't those cute?
09:37 Those are really cute.
09:38 Except for the glass is a little bit like, um, colorful.
09:43 Yes it is.
09:44 Is that just reflecting?
09:46 It might be.
09:47 I'll have to get all of this.
09:48 But those look like crowns.
09:49 They do.
09:50 Those are, yeah.
09:51 You have room for those.
09:52 You could put two over your table instead of one.
09:54 I only thought about that.
09:56 But those would still probably be a bit small.
09:57 Too small.
09:58 Yeah.
09:59 Too small.
10:00 I've always looked at this and I've always thought this is so pretty.
10:03 Look at this.
10:05 So that's a Lennox McKinley 22 gold carrot trim.
10:09 Look at them.
10:10 Oh.
10:11 And look at these.
10:12 And there's the full set.
10:13 And isn't it beautiful?
10:14 Yes.
10:15 Like beautiful.
10:16 That is really pretty.
10:19 How many plates are there?
10:20 I don't know, but isn't that beautiful?
10:23 Yes.
10:24 That's a full set.
10:25 You should have a new set of dishes for your new renovation.
10:30 Dad would love to hear you say that.
10:32 Some lamps.
10:33 A little table.
10:35 This is kind of a neat table.
10:36 Look at this.
10:38 Look at the feet.
10:39 Mm-hmm.
10:40 The ball and claw.
10:41 Yeah.
10:42 That's a really pretty table.
10:44 Actually, we're seeing some really nice things today.
10:47 I know.
10:48 Today's a good day.
10:49 Yeah.
10:50 Okay.
10:51 That's a different kind of looking little thing.
10:53 Yes, it is.
10:54 We've already seen so many good things, you guys.
10:57 We're going to have to either start a pile or start tagging stuff.
11:00 I don't know.
11:01 I'm trying to move the camera slow.
11:03 I hope it's slow enough.
11:04 I know sometimes I can move it a little fast when I get excited, and it gets hard to watch.
11:08 Oh, it makes me sick watching it.
11:11 This is actually a very interesting booth.
11:13 I like it.
11:14 With the color.
11:15 Yes.
11:16 It almost looks like the Thunder Gray.
11:17 Yes, it does.
11:18 It has my dining room look to the Black Fox.
11:20 Yeah, I think that's what it's called.
11:22 Black Fox?
11:23 Black Fox.
11:24 It's more of like a dark brown.
11:25 Yeah.
11:26 Dark brown plum.
11:27 It's pretty.
11:28 Yeah.
11:29 It's very pretty.
11:31 Look at the books.
11:32 Look at the brown books down there.
11:34 Aren't those pretty?
11:35 Yes.
11:36 Look at these.
11:37 Yeah, those are really pretty.
11:38 The real America.
11:39 It just has a real cozy.
11:43 It does have a cozy vibe.
11:44 Cozy vibe.
11:45 A little bit of Halloween action going.
11:47 You know, I have been known to buy something off these racks.
11:51 You should pull that out.
11:52 Not now.
11:53 Not now.
11:54 I know.
11:55 Oh, it's heavy.
11:56 Is it heavy?
11:57 It's real heavy.
11:58 It looks like Downton Abbey-ish though.
11:59 Yeah.
12:00 Big shoulder pads.
12:01 Oh, well you could take those out.
12:02 I would look like an absolute football player in this.
12:03 No, you would not.
12:04 Oh, yes.
12:05 Uh-uh.
12:06 Yeah.
12:07 That would be really pretty with a real white, like billowy book.
12:08 Yeah.
12:09 You should get it put on your table.
12:10 No, I'm talking about yours.
12:11 No, I'm looking for vases for you.
12:12 Vases and baskets.
12:13 I like low bowls.
12:14 I know, but you've got to have something once in a while that's different.
12:15 Maybe.
12:16 I'm not sure.
12:17 I'm not sure.
12:18 I'm not sure.
12:19 I'm not sure.
12:20 I'm not sure.
12:21 I'm not sure.
12:22 I'm not sure.
12:23 I'm not sure.
12:24 I'm not sure.
12:25 I'm not sure.
12:26 I'm not sure.
12:27 I'm not sure.
12:28 I'm not sure.
12:29 I'm not sure.
12:30 I'm not sure.
12:31 I'm not sure.
12:32 I'm not sure.
12:33 I'm not sure.
12:34 I'm not sure.
12:35 I'm not sure.
12:36 I'm not sure.
12:37 Okay, I'll find you some low bowls.
12:38 Okay.
12:39 Hey, Laura, there's a picture of Dad and I right here.
12:40 Where?
12:41 Right back there.
12:42 There's a set of three.
12:43 Set of three.
12:44 You guys are looking good.
12:45 You're looking fresh.
12:46 We've been dieting.
12:47 You have been dieting.
12:48 I like these.
12:49 I do too.
12:50 Isn't that pretty?
12:51 It's a big one.
12:52 It is a big one.
12:55 I like putting flowers in this sort of thing right here.
12:59 Yes.
13:00 That is my jam right there.
13:01 Isn't that pretty?
13:02 That's a shiny one.
13:03 Well, it's so super pretty.
13:04 I like this too.
13:05 Look how pretty that is.
13:06 Yeah.
13:07 This is like Mrs. Potts.
13:08 Mrs. Potts.
13:09 Oh, hey, we can do a little workout before we go have our lunch.
13:17 Is that a weight?
13:18 I don't know what that is.
13:19 That's a napkin.
13:20 Yeah, it's kind of like a weight.
13:24 Glass cut knife rest.
13:26 Knife rest?
13:27 We were close.
13:28 I was so close.
13:29 Close mom.
13:30 I would put this on a stack of napkins so they didn't blow off.
13:33 Perfect.
13:34 Oh, I love looking through these.
13:37 Yeah.
13:38 I love it when I can find like a runner or napkin.
13:40 Look at the napkins here.
13:41 Aren't those, well, they're kind of stained.
13:43 But if you can find a good set.
13:45 Yeah.
13:46 Oh, that's kind of pretty, isn't it?
13:49 Isn't that pretty?
13:50 It just needs a frame.
13:51 Is it a, huh.
13:55 It's something that's been stretched around an old piece of board.
13:58 What does that say?
14:00 Large oval picture, couple under tree.
14:03 French painting on canvas over board.
14:07 I think that's super pretty.
14:09 That is pretty.
14:10 That's your color too.
14:11 Yeah.
14:12 You should get it.
14:13 Well, I'd have to have it framed.
14:15 We've done that before.
14:18 Yeah.
14:19 Oh, yeah.
14:20 So expensive.
14:21 It is custom framing.
14:24 I had to convince your dad that that's just what it costs.
14:29 But the thing is, I don't know.
14:31 I've only done the custom framing thing once and it was like, oh, when I picked it up, I was like, what?
14:36 Yeah.
14:37 But, but really.
14:39 Oh, hey, you could do a menagerie of lights.
14:44 They're all, they all match.
14:47 Oh, what is that?
14:51 That's kind of interesting, though, isn't it?
14:53 Yes.
14:54 I saw one of these on an Instagram thing that I, this is an Italian burl desk.
14:59 It's a desk.
15:00 Yeah.
15:01 It was on a Instagram feed that I follow that does like, like crazy awesome antiques.
15:09 So this is.
15:11 Look at, look at the inside.
15:16 Yeah, that's cool.
15:18 It's just a very interesting look.
15:19 It almost looks like a giant cello or something.
15:21 Yes.
15:23 Oh, my goodness.
15:24 It's heavy.
15:26 Feel that.
15:28 Oh, my.
15:29 For yourself.
15:30 I'll throw my back out.
15:32 Yeah.
15:34 Wow.
15:36 I guess it's for the cake that you bake and you're not wanting anyone to see.
15:39 Yeah, nobody can see in there.
15:41 Don't even look.
15:42 The frosting job is not stellar.
15:46 Everything you cook in an evening just comes out to the table in these solid covered.
15:50 In the cover, like it's a mystery dinner.
15:52 You're like, "Okay, we turn off the lights and we have to dine in the dark."
15:55 It's like candlelight dinner.
15:57 And everything comes out in really solid covered domes.
16:00 Oh, look at this number right here.
16:02 Oh.
16:03 Now, what kind of thing is that?
16:05 It's a circle skirt.
16:06 That's kind of cool.
16:07 Like, they had these when I was young.
16:10 Did they?
16:11 Yeah.
16:13 Look at here.
16:14 It's in an antique store.
16:16 Oh, life.
16:18 Circle of life.
16:21 Oh, here is a wedding dress and a jean jacket.
16:24 Now, there you go.
16:26 Oh, this is a stiff petticoat thing.
16:29 Laura, we could put that on our backs.
16:31 What are you harvesting with that?
16:33 Well, okay.
16:35 Trapper's basket with front storage.
16:37 Rare Adirondack.
16:39 Trapper's basket.
16:41 So, like somebody who goes trapping?
16:43 Well, I don't know.
16:44 I wouldn't want to put like a--ew.
16:46 I know.
16:47 I don't know about that.
16:48 I'd have to have some pads made for those.
16:50 Me too.
16:52 We could front do it and then pick stuff and put it in our basket.
16:56 Like an apple picking basket.
16:58 We could.
16:59 One could do that.
17:00 What would you put in the front storage?
17:02 A beverage?
17:03 Treats.
17:04 Snacks.
17:05 Yeah.
17:06 Here's a sign for your house.
17:07 What?
17:08 Martini?
17:10 That's right.
17:11 Yes.
17:12 Here's a sign for mine.
17:13 Poison.
17:14 Consume at your own risk.
17:16 Yes.
17:17 There's some baskets.
17:19 Oh, little ones.
17:21 Put those on your belt.
17:23 You know what I harvest, right?
17:25 Like you know what my harvests look like.
17:27 Look at this.
17:28 That's Samantha style.
17:30 You could put little strawberries in there, I suppose.
17:31 Wouldn't that be cute?
17:32 Yeah.
17:34 $32 for that.
17:35 Yeah, some baskets are expensive.
17:37 Yeah, they're expensive.
17:38 I don't treat my baskets good enough to merit paying a lot for them.
17:41 Right, like ours are used.
17:42 Ours are used hard until they break and then you go buy another one that's not expensive.
17:46 Exactly.
17:47 Oh my word.
17:48 You never know what you're going to find.
17:50 This is kind of a neat tablecloth.
17:51 It is, yeah.
17:52 Isn't that sweet?
17:53 That is sweet.
17:55 Hmm.
17:56 I need some round--oh, this is round.
17:58 This is round.
17:59 Is it really?
18:00 I think it might be round.
18:01 I'm stepping back.
18:02 Oh, round isn't square.
18:03 Or round isn't rectangular.
18:04 It's pretty though.
18:05 You could put it on a round table.
18:06 Isn't it so pretty?
18:07 Yeah.
18:08 Oh, it's just sweet.
18:09 Yeah, you should get it.
18:10 Hmm.
18:11 Well, vintage tablecloth, $19.95.
18:12 You should get it.
18:13 I just bought some tablecloths.
18:14 Did you?
18:15 Yeah.
18:16 I'm going to get a new one.
18:17 I'm going to get a new one.
18:18 I'm going to get a new one.
18:19 I'm going to get a new one.
18:20 I'm going to get a new one.
18:21 I'm going to get a new one.
18:22 I'm going to get a new one.
18:23 I'm going to get a new one.
18:24 I'm going to get a new one.
18:25 Vintage tablecloth, $19.95.
18:28 You should get it.
18:29 I just bought some tablecloths.
18:30 Did you?
18:31 Yeah.
18:32 Because Dad and I are living outside now.
18:35 Sure.
18:36 We are.
18:37 Camping outside.
18:38 We are.
18:39 We have only an outdoor kitchen.
18:41 So I did buy some tablecloths and some new cushions for the chairs so that it could be
18:45 pretty.
18:46 Yeah, that's good.
18:47 Yeah.
18:48 And also the chairs were so deep I needed to buy a cushion that was real thick to prop
18:50 me up.
18:51 They're low bowls.
18:52 You could make bouquets in those.
18:53 No.
18:54 No thanks.
18:55 But I think I like this.
18:56 Yeah.
18:57 That's a sweet little harvest basket right there.
18:58 Yep.
18:59 Oh, this is it right here.
19:00 Mom, I have to have this one.
19:01 This is the kind of basket that I love right here.
19:02 That's a good one.
19:03 Can you hold it up for me?
19:04 Yep.
19:05 That's a good one.
19:06 Low with nice handles.
19:07 Yep.
19:08 I use the heck out of baskets like that.
19:09 Yeah.
19:10 This is a good one.
19:11 Yeah.
19:12 I love those pillows right down there.
19:13 These?
19:14 The stripy ones, yeah.
19:15 Yes.
19:16 I love those pillows.
19:17 Yeah.
19:18 I love those pillows.
19:19 Yeah.
19:20 I love those pillows.
19:21 Yeah.
19:22 I love those pillows.
19:23 Yeah. Yes, the ticking. A low bowl. Yeah, that's pretty. Isn't that pretty? That works really well.
19:33 Mm-hmm. That's right. Yeah. I'm out in the nursery. Wicker fan. Yeah, working. Just whip this out. Mm-hmm.
19:39 Here's another very unusual basket. Yeah, that is an unusual basket.
19:43 It's a hand-woven and antique half-round basket.
19:48 So the other half, where's the other half? I don't know. It's missing half. This is awful cute. That is really cute.
19:54 Yeah. This is a nice basket right here. That would be perfect for your shed. It would, wouldn't it? Yeah.
20:00 I wonder how much it is. Yeah, that's a pretty basket.
20:03 It's a good size. Mm-hmm. And I don't have enough room, like, you know, to put great big things.
20:11 And nor do I want to lift the weight after it's full. No.
20:14 It's 1950. Oh, you should get it. Yeah, I think I'll get it. My, my, my. Look at this.
20:20 That has been a bedazzled dresser. Right there. Yep.
20:24 Would it be hilarious for you to get one of these baskets?
20:28 This is what we used to do funeral arrangements in at the flower shop. Oh, really?
20:32 Yeah, you could have that out in your flower garden. Oh. Great idea. Yeah.
20:38 I'm full of great ideas. Yeah. That's a scaredy cat. That is.
20:43 Okay, all of that and all the neat things we saw and what did we end up with?
20:48 A bunch of baskets. Mom got one and I got two.
20:53 But you know what? Baskets, they're, they're pretty, but they're also so handy to have.
20:59 I'm gonna pile it in. Okay, I think we are going to be going to LA Junk next.
21:04 They always have some really pretty light fixtures. Oh my goodness. You guys are going to love this.
21:09 We're at LA Junk and they've got such sweet gardens surrounding their store.
21:13 So we're going to do a little garden walkthrough before we even go and look at their antiques.
21:17 And they do have some of their things displayed out here as well.
21:20 Look at this. And there's gardens all the way around the front.
21:23 That's the shop right there, the main part. And then there's open shopping around the back.
21:27 Oh, look at that little greenhouse. I love that so much.
21:33 The bench and they've got this kind of formal, you know, this little grass patch right here with benches on either side.
21:39 But then they've got really neat touches like this, this rock with the sedum.
21:44 How cool is that? Oh my goodness. Okay, let's go and look at the door with the little picket kind of look.
21:52 Oh my goodness. Oh, I love this.
22:00 Okay, I'm going to do a 360 here. We're going to do it slow. There's a lot to see.
22:09 I love the buckets. I love the boxes too, the wood boxes.
22:15 Little fountain going.
22:20 And I love these chairs. My mom's going to love these chairs.
22:23 She's taking care of some business there in the car while I get a head start here.
22:28 And I love this table too. Isn't that cool?
22:35 So coming out of the greenhouse, there's a little shopping area right here.
22:42 A bunch of really fun things. You should look at these chairs.
22:45 Look at that. Yeah, isn't that sweet? That is super sweet.
22:49 Yeah, that little organizer. I don't know. Look at the chairs. Oh, I love them.
22:54 There's four of them. Oh, there are? Yeah, so there's two there and then there's two up here.
22:59 Oh, I don't know. I don't know if your dad can actually sit in them.
23:06 Oh, he wouldn't like this. But we like it. I don't.
23:10 I think they're so, I love this pattern on the bottom. Yeah.
23:16 If the back had that pattern, I would do it. Right.
23:19 I love this whole shed. Like, look at the little details. I know. It's so neat.
23:24 Okay, so as you approach the front here, you can go in left where there's the outdoor shopping.
23:28 But I want to run over here to the garden area.
23:30 Like, look at this, you guys. Little paver pathway. Roses in bloom.
23:35 There's beautiful shrubs and perennials and lots of ground covers in between the stones.
23:41 It looked so pretty when we were coming down the street.
23:44 Come out here. Oh.
23:52 Laura, I love this arch. Yeah, it's a really it's got a bench.
23:56 I just love it. I do, too. Look at this. A goldenrod and the asters, the salvia.
24:01 There's some yarrow in bloom, the sedum, nepeta, roses.
24:07 It's just like a jumble of beauty.
24:11 I like all the different textures that you can see. There's some iris there.
24:15 Look at the Eiffel Tower. Yeah, that's cool. It is.
24:20 And then as we swing this way, just more beautiful plants.
24:27 This is my jam. I like looking at gardens more than I like looking at antiques.
24:34 This like breathes life into my soul right here. Look at this.
24:44 Someone's really thoughtfully done this, Laura. Yes, they have.
24:47 They've done just such a beautiful job. So pretty.
24:55 Love all the time between the stones. Look at this lantana in the garden.
25:00 Isn't that pretty? But I love that color of yellow. I do, too. Yeah.
25:04 That's so, so pretty. It is pretty. Oh, those legs move.
25:10 Yes, they do. Hello. How are you, ladies? Good. Hello.
25:16 Oh, this is a pretty one. That is pretty.
25:21 Nice and sparkly. Just not quite big enough. Not quite. Close. It's close. Yes.
25:28 Got some really fun stuff in here, you guys. And it smells good in here, too.
25:33 That's always helpful. Oh, that looks really comfortable. Doesn't it, though? Yes.
25:39 Super comfortable. Look at all the aprons. How fun. I know.
25:43 I bought one. Do you remember when we were in here and I bought one? Yes.
25:47 Kind of like this and I wear it all the time. Do you? Yeah.
25:49 Teresa made me one when she and Robert came and visited. Oh.
25:53 She had it monogrammed. It's beautiful. Yeah. I'd like to have one of those.
25:58 Are those overalls? Yep. Those look comfy. They do.
26:02 Erin would die if I wore something like that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
26:06 Like, not in a good way. Not in a good way. No. Okay.
26:12 Hey, did you see this plant stand? That's a neat one. Oh, yeah. Isn't that pretty?
26:17 Yes. Laura, I've been really disciplined to just look for chandeliers.
26:22 Yeah, you have been. You did find a good one. But you have been kind of wanting some baskets, too.
26:26 Yeah, I have. It's good to find some that fit.
26:29 But I just don't want baskets that are so big that I know myself and I'll try to overfill it and then I can't lift it.
26:34 I know. It's like the kangaroo bags. Yeah. Or it hurts my back.
26:37 I could put one more load of something in there. Yeah.
26:39 What is this? Some kind of a grinder. A brass grinder. Not so kind.
26:46 It's cool looking. Chalices. These are kind of neat. Look at this one, Mom.
26:50 Yeah, they are. The fleur-de-lis. Yeah. Here's an urn upside down.
26:56 Somebody was checking out the bottom of it. They were. Structural integrity.
27:01 No chandeliers. Nope. No chandeliers. Lots of fun stuff, though. I can't believe we didn't end up with anything.
27:06 I know. I know it. But, oh, just the experience of seeing all of the beautiful plants and the garden out here.
27:12 That's fun. So worth it. Yes. Yeah, it is. It's fun just to come take a look.
27:17 We are going to head down to Etovola for lunch now because we're actually very close.
27:21 It's also hard when you don't have a truck a little bit. Yeah.
27:26 Because, you know, anything that we buy that's bigger, we would have to go home and drive all the way back over here with the truck to pick it up.
27:32 So, that kind of eliminates a lot of things. Maybe we need to do that more often.
27:36 No. Just don't bring a truck and then it just keeps your purchases down a little bit.
27:40 You know what I think we should do? What? Truck and the cargo trailer.
27:43 Oh, goodness. We've done it before. We have. Yeah.
27:48 I did see Enchanting Objects posted a picture of a hutch that I thought was really pretty.
27:52 And I've got a hutch in our landing that I didn't pick out. It was there. The previous owners left it.
27:59 Just said, if you want to use it, you can use it or, you know, get rid of it.
28:03 And so I used it because that's all that we had there. And when we moved into the house, we had hardly anything to fill up that house.
28:10 So I just, you know, have used it since then. Anyway, so I'm kind of in the market for a hutch that I like the lines of a little better.
28:18 Here we are. Curry chicken salad is on, coming my way.
28:23 Most delicious sandwich I have ever had, ever, ever.
28:28 Won't fall apart. It's so good.
28:31 Crackling cauliflower. Yeah. And a risotto cake. And mango lemonades.
28:36 Cheers. Cheers.
28:39 Okay, we are going to tuck in. We have made it to Enchanting Objects and we still have some room.
28:44 We haven't bought much today. We have two cookies in there. We do have two cookies.
28:48 For the way home. Yeah. Or before. Possibly. Quite possibly.
28:53 Isn't that a neat one though? Oh, it is. Yeah, that's what I was, I saw them post this on their Instagram the other day.
29:04 I'm like, oh, I need to go look at that. But you got to be quick. You snooze, you lose around here. Totally. Yeah.
29:11 I really liked the detail on that right there. And it's got a little bit of clothes storage, which I would need.
29:17 But then also somewhere to, you know, display some dishes.
29:20 There's a sectional in here. Aaron loves sectionals. Yes, he does.
29:26 Oh, Aaron would love it.
29:31 Can you imagine? He'd be like, what? What?
29:36 He's always probably scared when we are out shopping. Maybe a little bit.
29:39 I like the urns up there. Yeah. Aren't those pretty? Yeah.
29:43 Whoa. Look at it in here, you guys. Oh, so neat.
29:48 Yeah, they do a lot of very good merchandise. Yes, they do. Always, always have. Yeah.
29:57 Smells good right here. Yeah. Smells like cinnamon.
30:01 Well, they always have like good smelling candles. Yeah. All right. Let's go down into this area.
30:08 There's always some interesting oddities in here.
30:13 That. Oh, yes. And that.
30:20 Yeah. Somebody's just look at that. That candelabra in the back left corner.
30:25 And this magic wand. Oh, yes.
30:32 Look at that one back there. Oh, yeah. That's a neat lamps. It's like, oh, yeah.
30:39 What kind of would you put some kind of a little shades on that little shades?
30:46 But isn't it pretty? It's very. Now there's a light in this.
30:51 That's cool. Yeah.
30:56 Oh, there's always cool things. Look at that birdcage. I know that's neat.
31:00 And that plant stand. Yes, that's really cool. That'd be beautiful with a big cascading bouquet. Yes.
31:10 Oh. They seem to be pretty full right now.
31:16 Yes. I have lots of lots of this guy's lot has been laying down for a little too long.
31:22 Yeah. A little too comfortable. Missed a few meals. Yeah.
31:26 It's kind of a neat touch. It is. It's only one hundred and ninety eight dollars.
31:32 That's pretty cheap. Yeah. I'd be really pretty.
31:36 Now this looks like a bed that would last and the test of time.
31:41 Right. Well, I kind of like that little deal there. Yeah. It's like such a juxtaposition between big chunk.
31:46 Yeah. And then a little frilly. Yeah. That's a neat silver thing.
31:49 And I've always wanted one of these. Look at that. It's sold. Oh, look at that.
31:56 You know, though, these are nice now that I know what they are. Yeah.
31:59 Because how many times have you tried to lay your knife on the side of your plate because you don't want it to be knife to be on the table,
32:06 but you don't know how to balance it on the side of your plate. You just rest your knife.
32:09 See, perfect. You just need a set of those set of twelve. Yeah.
32:13 Little outdoor theater. It is. There's a chandelier.
32:18 Yes. You're going to just rock the candles. You get thrown out.
32:22 Just done. Done with electricity. My garden seeds would not fit in this.
32:27 No. I used to have plates like that. I think I kind of remember that.
32:31 Yeah. Years ago. Yeah. Nice. All right, guys.
32:39 Well, we've kind of struck out. No chandeliers, but she was able to leave.
32:45 Mom was able to leave her information with them and they'll kind of keep their eyes open.
32:48 So that's a step that is the right direction.
32:51 So there's an antique place in Nampa that we've we've gone to before with you guys, but it's been a while since we have.
32:58 So I think we're going to head there next and hopefully we find some some sort of chandeliers.
33:02 We've made it. We are in Nampa now.
33:05 The sign says Village Square if there wasn't a tree right right in the center of it.
33:09 Yeah. There is a large antique store throughout that building like separate ones.
33:14 So, right. I remember buying some. Do you remember those animal prints for Benjamin's room before he was born here?
33:20 Yeah. Oh. Very fun.
33:29 Oh, you see any little. I like this color. Yeah. Isn't that pretty?
33:33 Like that. Yeah. Navy. Yeah. Grr. I don't know. Gray. Gray Navy.
33:38 It looks like like the blue version of Thunder Gray.
33:43 Yes, it does. Yeah. But it kind of looks like that Downton Abbey.
33:47 Yeah. Yeah, it does. Yeah. OK. All right.
33:52 Keep on going. Look at that basket.
33:56 No, that's a neat one, isn't it? That's another one you strap on your back.
34:00 Nice. I don't find the occasion to need to strap a basket on very often.
34:08 You know, if you want both your hands free for picking. Yeah, I suppose so.
34:12 Yeah. Yeah. Honey, we can probably just look up at the ceiling and know like this might this might have it.
34:20 I sit down, play that thing right there. I'll pump organ.
34:24 I'm not sure that I've played one like that before. I know. Wouldn't that be kind of fun? Yeah.
34:28 Look at this. Look at this icebox. That's cool.
34:37 I like this one. Isn't that pretty? Yeah, that's really pretty.
34:43 Oh, look at this case. I like this right here. Yeah. With the it's really it's a coffee.
34:49 And then this. Yeah. You tell. Yeah.
35:00 Oh, yeah. Whoa. That really, really get it going. Yeah.
35:08 I know. How about a church pew? Oh, yeah. That one's on sale.
35:12 I just gave our church pew away that was out on our balcony.
35:16 How long was that church pew? Like 14 feet? Yes, it was long. Very long.
35:20 It would seat a lot. A whole family. Yes, it would.
35:25 Some blue transfer where looking. Yeah.
35:31 I don't love the shade, but I think the bottom of this lamp is really neat. Yes, it is.
35:36 OK. Feels extra bright out here today. You need your sunnies.
35:41 Well, you want to cross right here? Yeah. We struck out again at this place.
35:45 No chandeliers, but there's one other spot across the street called it looks like the mustard seed home decor and more.
35:52 Here we are. Unique repurposed furniture and home decor, plus vintage and unique finds.
36:00 Cool. Yeah. This is a pretty lamp right here.
36:09 I like that. So no, no chandeliers. Dang.
36:25 Are we stopping anywhere else? Where would we stop? I don't even know.
36:30 We've tapped the resources. We need to go to a different city.
36:34 Yeah, we do. We keep talking about going to Baker City. Yeah, but I don't know.
36:39 I mean, we'd have to figure out they keep weird. Their shops keep weird hours sometimes.
36:43 So we have to make sure that we lined it up the trip up with when their hours line up with ours so that we could hit multiple stores instead of just going because it's a little bit farther.
36:53 So going that far and only having, you know, one or two stores open at that time.
36:57 So I don't know at this point, I think we might just make our way home.
37:00 And mom got one basket. I got a couple of baskets and then a few things that ate to Vola.
37:06 So when we get home, I'll show you what I picked up. Hey, Laura.
37:10 What? What is that? It's my new tool. What does it do?
37:14 Do you want me to demonstrate? I've got a tree right here. I could demonstrate.
37:18 OK, OK. If you're going to prune something and you find yourself can't reach the limb.
37:24 Yeah. Which is me all the time.
37:26 I jump up and try to grab a leaf or something like this.
37:33 It's just for pulling down limbs.
37:37 Somebody give that to you. No, we bought them in Andrews. We're going to stock them now.
37:40 It's a it's a Dewitt. It's a really nice, heavy steel and it's their new tool or new to us.
37:46 Anyway, look at that. You're just like, oh, I'd like to grab that limb, but I'm way too short.
37:51 You should have one of these, honey. I do have one. It's called a pole pruner.
37:56 Oh, my gosh. No, but I don't want to do a pole pruning thing.
37:59 I want to use my little hand nippers. It's for fine tuning. Yes.
38:02 And I love this. And look at it's an ass like Susan. It's a monogram tool.
38:08 That's what it is. Yeah. Monogram tool. That mom is a neat tool.
38:12 I think it's clever. It is very clever.
38:15 How often have you jumped up to grab a limb because you don't have a pole pruner with you?
38:20 Pole pruners are heavy and they're long. Look at this short.
38:23 That is short, but it extends your arm about three feet.
38:27 Yeah, I think she had to make sure to have this in the car.
38:31 So when we filmed this video, she might sell some online. That is not true.
38:36 Get rid of the stock. I just came in and I on purpose bought them because I thought I need that tool in my life.
38:44 You know, sometimes those things can make a big difference.
38:47 You know, you're going to want it probably when we're out doing something, we're gleaning.
38:51 I can grab something really pulled towards us. All right, guys, I am back home.
38:56 My mom is just now taking off. She's heading to the grocery store because all of us are coming out for pizza tonight.
39:01 We're going to do pizzas on the grill. It should be fun.
39:03 And even though we didn't end up with a lot of things today, sometimes that happens when we go antiquing.
39:08 Sometimes you end up with a huge haul and sometimes you just end up with a few things.
39:12 Sometimes you end up with nothing. So it's just fun to hang out and spend time together.
39:16 So I'm really happy with these things right here. Take my receipt out of that basket there.
39:20 So you can see the two baskets that I picked up in the first place. And these are perfect size.
39:25 So just like a small to medium sized basket for smaller harvest or flowers and then a larger one.
39:32 This is a little bit more beefy so I can put like tomatoes or cucumbers or, you know, things that are a little bit heavier.
39:38 I wouldn't trust this one with anything like real heavy because the handles just come around and hook.
39:43 So, you know, you get something in there too much and that would be probably no good.
39:48 But I think it's a pretty basket.
39:49 And then at Atavala I picked up these three things. We've got some ginger snap cookies. They're one of my faves.
39:54 Just love them so much.
39:55 I also got, it was a ginger snap and orange zest cookie from their little bakery area.
40:00 My mom got a cranberry walnut and they were both delicious. We ate them in the car. Oh, they were so good.
40:04 I also got this table runner right here because I might use this for Thanksgiving.
40:09 It's got really pretty colors right here and I don't have anything, I don't think, that's long enough to fit our table once I put the leaves in it,
40:16 which we're going to need to use to fit everybody.
40:19 So I thought that this might be a good solution and there's vegetables and stuff on it, but I just love the color.
40:24 And then I got some pumpkin pasta right here.
40:28 Oh, isn't that cool?
40:31 I think I'm going to make lunch for my mom, sister and I to have like in the Hartley one day this fall, maybe on a rainy day.
40:37 I think that would be a really fun way to use this.
40:39 Here they come.
40:41 Whoa. Are you going to get me?
40:48 She just got up from her nap.
40:59 And you guys, that is it for today.
41:01 It was just a really nice, pleasant, relaxing, refreshing day.
41:05 And that's what taking a little bit of time to just remove yourself from what you normally do can do for you.
41:11 And I just need that every once in a while, just to change of pace, do something different, see other things.
41:16 I loved seeing that little garden around LA Junk.
41:19 I just enjoyed that so much, seeing what other people put together and it just inspires me to do other things in my own space.
41:27 So anyway, thank you guys so much for watching.
41:29 I hope it wasn't too much of a hot mess of a video.
41:31 I never really know and I try to be like discreet with my camera and also not make people feel uncomfortable with it.
41:37 So it's always kind of like a little bit up in the air as to how it's going to turn out.
41:40 So anyway, if you made it to this part of the video, thank you so much for sticking with it and for watching and hanging out with us.
41:47 And we will see you in the next one. Bye.
