00:00 How are you feeling at the weekend's competition?
00:08 I know I'm definitely as ready as I possibly can be.
00:11 A lot of training has gone into it.
00:13 A lot of work, a lot of hard work in the background.
00:17 But yeah, I'm feeling fit and I'm feeling ready to go.
00:19 Can you tell me a little bit about the training?
00:21 How long have you been getting ready for this particular tournament?
00:26 Actually not a whole lot of time for this particular competition.
00:29 This competed about four weeks ago, so it's been a really, really short quick prep for
00:33 this.
00:34 So yeah, hopefully it all goes to plan though with a short time frame.
00:38 But yeah, I've been training for quite a few years now.
00:40 So yeah, my body's feeling strong and yeah, excited for comp day.
00:44 You said you love getting amongst it, the online competition day.
00:45 How do you approach getting ready to tackle your different apparatuses?
00:46 Is there a way that you really do approach that?
00:57 Yeah, I mean getting psyched for a lift is always something that I enjoy doing.
01:01 Getting the crowd energy going as well and just sort of feeding off that to give yourself
01:06 that little extra few percentage points to get yourself going.
01:09 Some people like to be sort of calm.
01:11 I'd rather be sort of really hyped up.
01:13 Yeah, and it's just a matter of being strong on the day as well.
01:16 So if you're not strong on the day, you're not going to get into it as much.
01:21 So yeah.
01:22 You've got different PDA markers you like to kind of hit off.
01:27 You said you were in it to win it.
01:28 What's your goals and aspirations for this weekend?
01:31 Yeah, so I want to finish every single event, which comfortably on most of the events I
01:37 think.
01:38 But yeah, I'd love to hit a 53 kilo monster dumbbell on comp day.
01:42 Yeah, I'm just going to do what I did in training basically and just continue to sort of set
01:49 the pace.
01:50 I don't think there's any lifts in this competition that I can set a proper sort of personal record
01:54 for.
01:55 So a lot of them are for time.
01:57 So I'm just going to go as fast and as hard as possible.
