A middle-age male driver was lucky to avoid serious injury after a single-car crash on the Princes Highway. Reporter Andrew Thomson at the scene.

00:00Here we are at the scene of an accident this morning. Single vehicle again.
00:05This one seems to be heading east. Utility was heading east on the Princess Highway at Pamua.
00:11He's just missed the distance signs and he's come off the road.
00:16Seems to have overcorrected from the left to the right, gone across the road.
00:21He's then proceeded down alongside the road
00:28and gone into, crashed into a heap of hay bales.
00:35Initial reports are that he may have been asleep at the wheel, but dead set lucky.
00:41Emergency services blokes here are sick of coming to accidents. People, please slow down.
00:46Here we are at the accident scene at Pamua. There's another single vehicle accident.
00:51We have Acting Sergeant Pete Hunter and one of the CFA boys from Pamua.
