Two drivers died in a three-vehicle crash at KM3 on Jalan Pekan-Kuantan on Tuesday (Nov 26), while a 26-year-old man driving an MPV was reported to be safe without any injuries.

00:07Kwantan on Tuesday.
00:09The driver of a pick-up truck, 34-year-old Azuan Zainal Abidin from Sepakanjaya, was
00:15pronounced dead while receiving treatment at Perkan Hospital.
00:19Perkan OCPD Superintendent Mohammad Zaidi Matzin reported that another victim, 71-year-old
00:27Raja Mustafa Shah Raja Jalil Shah, who was driving a subcompact sedan, also succumbed
00:33to his injuries at the same hospital.
00:36A 26-year-old MPV driver involved in the accident was unharmed.
00:41Initial investigations suggest that the pick-up, travelling from Perkan towards Kwantan, lost
00:46control and skidded into the opposite lane, colliding with the sedan.
00:51The two other vehicles were travelling in the opposite direction at the time.
00:56The case is being investigated under Section 41, Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act,
01:021987.
