Malaysia has pledged RM10mil in humanitarian aid for Myanmar earthquake victims, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced on Sunday (March 30).

As Asean chair, he affirmed Malaysia’s commitment to a proactive and meaningful role in the region’s collective response.

00:29Myanmar next week and reaffirmed Malaysia's support for ongoing search and rescue efforts.
00:35Teams from the National Disaster Management Agency have also been deployed to assist in
00:39rescue and relief operations.
00:42On Friday, a 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, claiming over 1,000 lives and causing
00:48massive destruction.
