00:15The National Disaster Management Agency said the team reached the area after a nearly 24-hour
00:20journey and they had established their operation base to facilitate the mission.
00:25The agency said the team had met with the local emergency management authorities upon
00:29their arrival.
00:31The team, comprising 50 members, left Malaysia on Sunday aboard two A400M aircraft.
00:38The first aircraft landed in the morning, followed by the second aircraft in the afternoon.
00:43The team will join other rescue teams from countries like Thailand, China, India, Singapore
00:49and Russia.
00:51Rescuers said they expect to find more survivors about three days after the deadly earthquake
00:56that hit central Myanmar.
00:58Four people were saved from collapsed buildings on Monday.
01:01A 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Sagaing on March 28th, severely affecting regions
01:07like Mandalay, Bago, Magway, northeastern Shan state and Napidaw.
01:13The earthquake has killed nearly 2,000 people, wounded thousands others and destroyed many

01:19The tremor also impacted Thailand, killing at least 18 people.
