00:00As we know, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics is one of the most critical and important ministries.
00:10That's why this ministry is considered one of the most strategic ministries in terms of
00:15the implementation of our efforts as an advanced industrial country and gaining attention.
00:23As you know, in the field of geopolitics, we are very open-minded.
00:28The U.S. investment is still number one.
00:31And we are still able to attract large U.S. investors.
00:37But now, our relationship with China is very close and very good.
00:44ASEAN is still the main focus.
00:47And recently, we have also moved to new friends and areas, including Russia.
00:56And we are grateful, alhamdulillah, that it is very easy for us to expand our presence
01:03to the BRICS authorities, the eight main BRICS countries.
01:08Malaysia is given the most easy-to-accept priority as a BRICS member.
01:16The Minister of Ethiopia, one of the eight countries that became an early member,
01:22came to visit us on Saturday.
01:28And he said, Prime Minister Anwar, you will be amazed to see the support,
01:37the friendship shown by all these leaders.
01:41When there were applications from the countries, they put Malaysia as number one,
01:48proposed by Putin who is the chairman, supported by Xi Jinping, endorsed by Modi India,
01:55and then Lula's representative from Brazil, and Ramaphosa from South Africa.
01:59So immediate applause when Malaysia was named as a new member of BRICS.
02:04So I want to say thank you, because this is because of the service and service of all our management,
02:15and our attitude, all the ministries and friends who have been able to put the name of Malaysia,
02:25and work harder with responsibility so that we can raise the dignity and image of our country
02:34as a great Malaysia in the years to come.
