00:00Alright, Abby, Women's Cricketer of the Year. How does it feel?
00:04Oh, it's a bit of a shock to be honest. I wasn't expecting it, but it's really good to be on it and I'm very privileged to have it.
00:12And happy with your season? You had a good season with both bat and ball?
00:15Yeah, yeah. I feel like I really stepped up in my bowling. My batting was a bit hit and miss, but when I performed I feel like I was really in my element and it was fun.
00:25And enjoy the season as a whole? Cobden had a pretty good year?
00:28Yeah, we had a really good season. I feel like we really pushed ourselves, everyone, and the team really stood up and just got around each other really well, which I think was the best thing.
00:37And how did you find the captaincy this year?
00:39Yeah, it was good. It was challenging. I feel like it's really hard in women's cricket sometimes, but we like to give everyone a go and no, it was a good challenge and yeah, it was lots of fun.
00:50And you mentioned your daddy in your speech out there. He played a big role in your cricket career?
00:53Yeah, definitely. He really fuelled the fire for me in women's cricket and we've kind of taken the pathways together and done everything together and he's given me lots of advice, which was really nice.
01:03So yeah, I'm sure he's pretty proud of you tonight?
01:05Yes, he would be very proud.
01:07Sounds good. Well, enjoy.
