00:22 Among the bills that will be tabled for the second reading in the Dewan Rakyat is the

00:26 Control of Smoking Products for Public Health Bill 2023, also known as the GEG Bill, scheduled

00:32 for October 10.

00:34 Health Minister Dr Zalihah Mustafa said the bill is a commitment by the Ministry and the

00:39 government to ensure the health and safety of the people are protected from the dangers

00:43 of smoking products.

00:46 The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia Bill 2023 is also expected to be tabled during

00:51 the session, which will allow for the appointment of Sabah and Sarawak representatives as board

00:55 members.
