00:00 - I wanna hear it more.
00:01 - Should we turn it up?
00:02 - Yeah, man.
00:03 Sorry guys, postponing the album for another four months.
00:06 (upbeat music)
00:09 Hey Vogue, it's Madison Beer.
00:17 Come and spend the day with me today in LA.
00:19 Okay, so right now we are in my house
00:21 and my friend Erin is here.
00:22 So we're gonna have a meeting
00:23 to go over my next music video.
00:25 Come on.
00:29 We are finishing up this treatment
00:30 for my next single "Spinnin'"
00:31 which I'm very excited about
00:33 'cause it's sort of gonna feel like a short film
00:35 in a lot of ways.
00:36 - We could just do it like you're in the field
00:38 and then you end up in the town.
00:39 - I think that that feels probably realistic.
00:41 And then I think the spotlight thing is so epic.
00:44 - So sick.
00:45 - I love it. - I know.
00:46 - I'll have a visual sort of aesthetic
00:48 that I wanna achieve
00:49 and then me and Erin will meet up
00:50 and just riff off of each other for hours
00:52 usually sometimes.
00:53 And then she'll end up making a treatment.
00:54 It's a really nice balance
00:56 that I think that we've accomplished.
00:57 - A lot of chit-chatting for many hours.
01:00 - A lot of voice memoing.
01:01 - Yeah, a lot of voice memoing.
01:02 I'll have like a first pass at the edit
01:03 and then we'll edit together.
01:04 - We also edit literally the day after we shoot videos.
01:07 She comes over the next night
01:08 and we have the edit locks.
01:09 - Yeah, it's pretty insane.
01:11 - We're pretty good at it.
01:12 - Yeah.
01:12 - Now we are on our way
01:15 to one of my favorite vintage stores
01:17 in all of Los Angeles.
01:19 But this one specifically I love
01:20 'cause it is a mixture of things like this
01:21 that are more delicate,
01:22 antique-y sort of pieces.
01:23 And then I think it's really cool
01:24 to wear things that have had a life before me
01:27 and I love to vintage shop.
01:28 Oh my gosh, this fit me.
01:34 [gasps]
01:35 It fit me.
01:35 They're so cute.
01:37 And they match my outfit.
01:38 It was meant to be.
01:39 Come on.
01:40 Come.
01:42 I want them.
01:45 Something that I look for always
01:48 when I'm shopping for vintage stuff
01:50 is just like a uniqueness in the pieces
01:51 that I want to buy.
01:53 And also things I'm gonna actually wear.
01:55 I feel like I've balanced this mixture
01:57 of girly with sort of still comfortable
01:59 like low-back jeans.
02:00 That feels very me.
02:01 And it feels good to finally feel like
02:02 I have some sort of sense of style for myself.
02:05 Okay, cute.
02:10 This is look one.
02:11 This is just some normal overalls
02:14 with this cute little sweatshirt that I pulled,
02:16 which I love.
02:17 Very excited they fit me
02:18 because a lot of my overalls
02:19 are either way too big on me
02:21 or way too small on me.
02:22 I definitely like to be comfy on most days.
02:24 This is a mixture of comfy yet still cute.
02:27 Okay.
02:29 So this is an outfit that I feel like
02:30 is very true to me.
02:31 I also do like things that are
02:32 a little bit big for me.
02:33 I found these glasses too,
02:35 which I loved before even seeing what brand they were.
02:37 And now they're vintage Chanel.
02:39 I love them even more.
02:40 That was a success.
02:43 Now I'm so hungry.
02:44 I need to take you to my favorite restaurant.
02:46 One of my favorite restaurants,
02:47 Foundway Surf.
02:48 Let's go.
02:48 I love this place.
02:53 I'm so addicted to it.
02:54 I come here all the time.
02:55 So finding this place was really exciting for me
02:57 and I am home for a little bit.
02:58 We're currently planning my tour
02:59 and a bunch of other stuff.
03:00 I'm going to New York soon,
03:01 but right now I get to chill a little bit.
03:03 So excited to eat this.
03:04 It's so good.
03:05 Everything comes with a Ritz cracker.
03:07 Are we joking?
03:08 You just scoop some on there
03:10 and then you pop it in.
03:11 Hello.
03:22 - What's up?
03:23 - Say hi to Vogue.
03:25 - What's up Vogue?
03:25 - So this is Leroy.
03:28 He's my favorite person in the world.
03:30 I don't even know what to call you.
03:31 Co-producer, co-partner in this life.
03:34 And today we're going to finish up one of my songs.
03:36 - Come with.
03:38 Okay, do you want to hear some of these vocals
03:39 we did last night?
03:40 - Yeah, yeah, yeah.
03:41 Let's do it.
03:42 - I really like this like beat.
03:45 - So me and Leroy have been working together
03:46 for six years now.
03:48 You know, it was kind of one of those things
03:49 where I thought it was going to be
03:50 another producer that I met
03:51 and then probably never saw again.
03:53 And then it just turned into like,
03:54 I really loved working with that guy.
03:55 Can we set up more sessions?
03:56 And then we made my debut album "Life Support"
03:59 and now we finished another one.
04:02 Really nice to be able to work with someone
04:03 who speak the same language as,
04:04 and we said like loop of a song.
04:06 I kept going like this and then we just got spinning
04:08 and then we just go down this rabbit hole quite literally
04:11 and it's so fun and it's very rare.
04:12 We're very lucky.
04:13 - Yeah, we're very lucky.
04:15 And we also have some amazing creative collaborators
04:18 as well who help us in many, many ways.
04:22 - Yeah, it's not only us.
04:24 We're not going to take all the credit.
04:26 - Put that out there.
04:27 - Can you turn up the preamp a little bit more
04:31 on the right hand side?
04:32 All right, and then just try.
04:34 Okay, one more time.
04:38 - No last note, okay.
04:39 - Yeah, yeah, just hold that.
04:41 One, two.
04:42 That's beautiful, maybe get like the.
04:49 - I think for me having people that I can really trust
04:51 in arguably the most intimate settings,
04:53 it's so important because I really have to feel like
04:55 I can pour my heart out to these people, not feel judged.
04:58 I want to have a song that's doing well
04:59 and be able to be like,
05:00 I love the people that I made this with.
05:02 So I'm very, very lucky.
05:03 All right guys, we have a song to finish.
05:05 I'm so grateful for this.
05:06 This has been so much fun.
05:08 I hope you guys enjoyed the video
05:09 and thank you so much Vogue for having me.
05:11 I absolutely love you.
05:12 I will see you guys next time.
